Chapter 332: Dissipating

Dora was frustrated with her system; it was good, but its limitations were too constraining. Basically, she could only overrule unimportant events and no more.

After an hour had passed, she ran another simulation, but the results were basically the same.

The simulated world was not an exact copy of the real world; the system could not simulate itself. For example, Dora of the simulated world could not use the system to predict the future; that would create an endless loop.

Overall, the simulated future was not useful for predicting her own actions but was more useful for predicting others' actions; after all, it is completely accurate when it comes to simulating those without systems.

...

Jack looked at the blue sky; he had missed seeing it, even though, as an immortal, he usually doesn't care about these superficial matters, but still, the blue sky is something even immortals may miss from time to time; the world in the inheritance ground only had gray sky.

He had already collected information about what had happened outside the inheritance ground in the last 20,000 years, and he was shocked, to say the least.

"Too many things happened in a mere 20,000 years! The transmigrators completely ruined my original settings!" he thought with regret. Even though he broke through the perfection realm with heaven's way technique, he still lacked the confidence to dominate all transmigrators.

"Rachel's transmigrators destroyed everything! Damn, I should report to her that there are too many transmigrators recently," he thought. This was not his first time seeing the transmigrator system, but the intensity was never this high.

Just as he wanted to teleport away, suddenly, he looked in a certain direction with very serious eyes. The next moment, he disappeared.

...

Outside the dream world.

Jack was looking at the dreamworld while sighing. Just now, Rachel called him.

"It's over!" Jack sighed again as he looked at the illusory rank 11 world floating in the endless space. The reason for going through all of these troubles in creating dream worlds was to help Rachel increase her mastery of different Dao and simultaneously create more computing power.

Her current obsession was to improve her spells and create new rank 14 spells. To do that, no amount of computing power and mastery is too much.

But, just a few moments ago, she completely called off the project, ordering it all to be shut down.

In fact, it was not only his projects that were shut down.

Zagronan had been busy creating 'True Hell' worlds, and lately, in the last few trillion years, he had been busy creating 'Dream Hell' worlds.

Lana had been creating 'Coliseum Dream Worlds,' while Bertha and Milan had created 'Green Dream Worlds.'

The rank 14 civilization Alive had been busy designing more and more dream species. Many other subordinates of Rachel had been working hard to create more computing power and dream power for her use.

All of that was called off with one word.

As a rank 14, she didn't care about others' thoughts; she did what was best for her.

Taking out his pill container, Jack started to complain.

"Rachel, we had good progress! Why did you do this?" he asked.

The pill container said, "I don’t know the reason, but it was my main body's decision, so it must be the best decision." As always, the incarnation was loyal.

Sighing, Jack waved his hand; the dream world started dissipating.

As a last favor to the people of this world, Jack asked Rachel to register a few people in the world into her transmigration system.

Rachel directly managed the transmigration system, but her incarnations were also given administrator roles.

Incarnations of rank 10 were given 'Moderator' roles, while those of rank 11 were given sub-admin roles. Those of rank 12 were given admin roles, while those of rank 13 were given super admin roles. As for Rachel herself, she was the root, with ultimate power over everything.

Moderators had the power to register people into the transmigration system, remove them from it, and, to some degree, manipulate the cheats and golden fingers.

Sub-administrators had the power to register and remove people and complete authority over golden fingers and cheats each transmigrator would receive.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Administrators had the power to register and remove people, determine the specific world people were going to be transmigrated into, design and assign cheats and golden fingers, ban and unban, or otherwise punish non-compliant worlds. They also had the duty to keep an eye on the expenditure and income of energy to make sure the balance was kept.

Super Administrators were responsible for managing the system overall, putting up structures and infrastructures, setting up the overall framework of the systems and golden fingers, supervising the implementation of the transmigration system's requirements in participating worlds, coordinating with partners in other charges of reality, appointing moderators, sub-administrators, and administrators, and filling any loopholes that might be left.

Even though Rachel had infinite energy, the universe must be balanced. It would become unstable if she injected too much energy into it. Even though she could easily fix it, it would still require a little computing power, which she wasn’t wasting on such matters.

Computing power is the most important asset for a rank 14. The best computing devices were those that could compute more with less energy. Even though rank 14s had infinite energy, they were still limited in how much energy they could draw from creation at one time; in other words, their output was limited.

...

Daoist Fire Power was busy cultivating; he was close to reaching rank 10. Maybe in another 10,000 years, he would start attempting to break through to rank 10.

But, just then, suddenly, an ordinary lightning appeared in the sky.

It was just a mortal lightning, with no threat to him.

But Daoist Fire Power looked at it with serious eyes; he could forecast weather, but he didn’t forecast this lightning cloud.

Suddenly, with a rumble, a single ordinary white lightning bolt fell.

Daoist Fire Power teleported away immediately, not intending to let it hit him. But to his astonishment, as he teleported, so did the white lightning bolt.

Seeing he couldn’t run away, he tried slowing down time itself, but the bolt of lightning continued falling on him without being affected.

He took out many treasures to defend against it, but it completely ignored them and passed through them.

Finally, Daoist Fire Power could only watch as the lightning blot fell on him.

...

Daoist Fire Power felt he was in the most comfortable place.

He was covered with a warm aura, not hungry or thirsty, at the perfect temperature.

"What is going on?" he had this question in his mind for a few months.

Finally, one day, he felt as if he was going through a tunnel.

...

"The baby is a boy!" said the servant.

The child's father, a dragon warrior, went inside and saw a child who was not crying, just trying to open his eyes to look around.

"What the hell? What's wrong with him?" asked the dragon warrior. If the news got out that his son was weird, it would be a serious blow to his reputation. In the dragon kingdom, it was believed that a crippled son was a sign of the wrath of God, while a crippled girl was a sign of a disaster.

"Master, we don’t know! We called a doctor!" said the servant.

Looking at the woman who gave birth to his child, he asked, "What happened to her?"

The servant said, "Unfortunately, Miss died after giving birth."

"So, not only is he disabled, but he even killed his mother?" He looked at the baby with anger. Then, he raised his palm and pressed down on the newborn.

"Bastard," cursed the dragon warrior while pressing.

Without much resistance, the newborn was turned into meat paste.

"Just declare that both of them died during labor! He was a bastard anyway." In the dragon kingdom, bastards were frowned upon and were a shame for their father.

...

Daoist Fire Power could barely open his eyes and saw a palm pressing down. He tried mobilizing energy to stop it but failed.

The last thing he heard was someone saying, "Bastard."

...

Lucy felt around; she was extremely comfortable. After a while, she felt like she was going through a tight tunnel; she was born!

...

"It’s a girl princess!" The maid cleaned the baby and delivered it to the princess.

"My baby!" the princess smiled as she carefully kissed her baby.

The baby was so calm, barely crying, and so cute that the princess couldn’t believe it was her child.

After some time, the prince, a handsome man, came and also hugged the baby.

...

After a few years, the princess grew up; there was no hardship in her life.

Everyone served her, and everyone loved her. It's just that sometimes, she had strange dreams about a 'hero' named Jack. They took her to spiritual masters, and it was revealed that she was a reincarnator. Despite knowing that, her parents continued to love her just as much or even more than before.

They sent her to the best schools and taught her magic at a young age.

She chose the path of a spiritual mage to explore her past life.

After living in this world for 300 years, she finally died of old age, having three children and eleven grandchildren.

...

After death, she went through the cycle of reincarnation. This world had reincarnation, so people's souls didn't disappear even after death.

Sometimes, the reincarnated souls would keep their memories of their past, which is why this phenomenon was well known.

Lucy was reincarnated once again; like the last time, she kept her memories.

The world was peaceful, and there were no wars. After living happily for another 300 years, she died again.

...

She was reincarnated again and again and remembered her past lives every time. This was abnormal; usually, there was less than a 1% chance of remembering one's past life, but Lucy remembered it thrice in a row.

She researched on her own soul and, after years, managed to invent a spiritual drug, based on her own condition, that allowed people to remember their past lives after reincarnation.

As long as one used the drug one year before death, after reincarnation, they would keep their past memories.

This invention directly put her name in the history books. Even after tens of thousands of years, everyone still remembered her.

...

She lived and died and was reborn many times. Over the years, she started thinking more and more about her first life.

She didn’t remember how she died in her first life. She thought it was because her spiritual memory was incomplete, but now, after gaining much more knowledge, she believed the reason was not that.

She failed to remember it because she died without even being able to sense it; something terrifying killed her instantly.

Still, from her first life, the person she missed the most was Michael.' She didn’t exactly know why, but she felt very sad whenever she thought of him.

As for the 'hero-sama,' she had no feelings toward him.

She remembered that when she was in her first life, she liked Hero-Sama more than her own life, but nowadays, she has lost all her feelings toward him.

"I wish I could see them again!" she thought.

Unfortunately, she could never meet them again.
