Good news!
Our poor gem didn't have to suffer as much this time.
Only for about a few thousand years...
It's just a measly amount of time on the grand scale of the universe. Gem can walk it off.
On another note, gem's friends were spared from the aftermath...as this time around...gem was flung out into space.
By the way, totally unrelated, apparently gem can survive in the core of the star and not melt.
How do I know this? As gem would say it... Irrelevant. We don't need to get to the specifics.
By the time the systems were done using gem as a sandbag to vent their anger. They came back and got onto track for terraforming.
A few more years went by as both parties were stubborn, but ultimately gem got a few more friends found from outer space. Gem discovered them on asteroids and destroyed planets near the outer reaches of the solar system. Well far past the several planets in normal orbit.
What?
What about those destroyed planets outside the solar system?
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
That's irrelevant, maybe gem got there and they were already destroyed. Totally not done by gem being launced at them by the system.
On the other hand, the systems were promised the planet they were originally on would be terraformed... No matter the cost or the ways done.
So now then...
Back to the present at hand.
[You got to imagine the water in it's liquid form. There's enough of it already evaporated into a gas.]
"..."
'Gem trying, but it's hard to imagine anything else but a gem.'
[You literally have a body of water right next to you...]
"..."
'Like gem said, it's hard to imagine liquid water when you can imagine a gem.'
[Sigh...Just get on with it already.]
"..."
'hmm...gem has done it! Water!'
[Great! By this amount...you just need to do this repeatedly for the next 80,000 years!]
"..."
'... Gems suddenly feels not so motivated.'
[Hi, Billy Mays Here with the...]

"..."
'Gem is motivated! Just make it stop!'
[I'm glad we could reach an agreement.]
"..."
'yeah, yeah...sigh...'
And that's what gem did. For the next million years gem was creating the basic needs. The water of life, the soil of mother nature, the winds of freedom, and everything else.
To be honest... It was going terribly slow. Partly because gem was not motivated, despite what gem says, and partly because gem simply was horrible at control and power.
Not that good kind of horrible, the bad kind of horrible!
If someone were in gem shoes using a human body they could easily do all this nearly 100 times faster. The only thing gem has going for itself is that gem is immortal.
Gem has all the time in the world to finish, a human body does not.
So slowly but surely the planet started to look more and more habitable.
And so...
Time moves on.
