Time passed as our trio constantly clean up the rebar and fill the holes of the new deeper burrow. Every now and then gem would control 50 to 100 rabbits for 10 seconds to make noise to call other rabbits to come to the several burrows.

It's worth noting that all the burrows are interconnected at the lower layers through these holes are trio are feeling up using the corpses of their brethren. Meaning there is more rabbits in other boroughs out there. but gem and water elemental didn't want to crawl into a tight hole to chase after white rabbits. Above ground people are chasing and killing as many white rabbits as they can. Oftentimes someone would get lucky and kill three rabbits with a single swing. After cutting open the rabbit with their weapon and taking out the mana core. They would go out again to chase another group of white rabbits.

Swords, pickaxes, polearms, scythes, and a bunch of other weapons had chopped up so many rabbits after 3 weeks that many people find it difficult to cut as their weapons dulled.

Oftentimes people would either be forced to go back to town to sharpen their weapon again as quickly as possible or take out another weapon they carried and start hacking again.

This season is no different from the others, despite the sheer outrageous numbers the trio were culling. There was just too many white rabbits to actually put a noticable dent into the total population.

But what separates the trio from everyone else is their trap. Their trap works almost exactly like those advanced craftsmen who dedicated their lives to making sophisticated traps.

First there are several holes into several burrows that ease the tension the rabbits feel, secondly there are dozens of rabbits calling others to follow into the burrows. And thirdly, there was no noise or smell to alert them too danger.

The noise was overwhelmed by the sheer number of footsteps charging into the holes, the smell was suppressed by the formation.

Although the trio didn't mean it, they are ahead of a lot of professionals in killing.
