That's only if everyone is willing to fight. but most likely it will turn into a 5 v 37 if nothing changes.

"Hey gem. if you can make them go to asleep. Do you still need to be in control of them?"

'hmm...Gem can only do it 5 at a time. After gem lets go of them however they instantly wake up.'

As she was talking to gem, the horses started running to them and preparing a power hoof stomp. Every second is getting more anxious then the last.

"dang! how about juggling them!?"

'difficult but in theory i should be able to. The moment I let go of my control they will realize what I was doing however and charge back here. so that's a dead end anyways as they will eventually overwhelm me when they get all together.'

By now the horses were close enough that many people who were still frozen in indecision decided to take it upon themselves to run away.

"Think! Think! Think of something quickly! AH! can you control 10 of them to lead where I want them to!"

By now the horses were only a few seconds away from hitting everyone but the Water elemental. Gem had already made sure to protect her from the ones aiming at her. But the idea she gave at the last second inspired gem to do something else.

Sure, if Gem didn't do that no one would die. but lots of people would be hurt and maybe some would attack back at the horses. Effectively failing the job. This is something gem doesn't want to happen because of some power struggle between brothers.

And so...

The scene of a horse biting the backside of a water elementals armor and flinging her to the horses back happened. Afterwards, 10 of the leading horses were controlled to move the 37 horses away from here and deep to the other side of the field. Far enough away that in one minute the figures of the others were blurry.

None of the horses attacked the one sitting on the lead horse, the ones around her were already controlled by gem and made sure it didn't happen. The other 27 seemed to follow the same and were okay with it. after all there is only 10 of them being males that are aggressive. If you can gain the trust of 10 of the 20 males, the other males will respect you enough to not attack you.

The Mares are safe to approach as they are docile enough, only when you go after their baby do they need to be calmed down.

"So...what now. They are okay with me for now because of you. but now I lost my party."

'the 17 babies are here right? Why don't we control 10 males horses to push along the babies to the raising facility. The rest of the horses will follow along and will make our life easier that way.'

"We can't do that. our job was to hold the Male power horses down until the others can take the babies away."

'Look, your teammates are okay. but the ones in command to do everything else is a mess. Going back to them will only make you have to suffer more of their arguing today. if we do it...yea it's complicated and dangerous. But you gained their initial trust by me as I have 10 of them be okay with your existence. all you need is follow along on the back of one of the horses.'

'Do you really want to go back...and deal with that headache again?'
