Without the mercenary outpost... Many people wouldn't make enough money to afford these things. There is just too many in the market because it's so easy to farm and get a huge quantity in a short period of time.

Sure she understood before things were cheap and inflated, but she didn't know it was up to this extent.

It makes her wonder about the higher levels, the levels that reach in the hundreds and that is much more difficult to get to. Not to mention the amount of time needed to invest in getting things you need.

And what about tiers and rebirths?

Those obviously are a different class in themselves, but yet she has not the slightest clue on how to get those.

It's not like the ones they did recently.

She never would have made over 40 Sunstrikes in the first quest without gem. Not even 20, she wouldn't even get past the recruitment trial to join.

Her second quest even more so unlikely, Even if she somehow is accepted. Most likey she would quit on her own initiative. That's another 210 Sunstrikes gone right there and then.

And then this last one, even if she were somehow able to afford everything again, there is no way she can be as effective without gem. Gem was the main lure and also the guarantee to make everything work by controlling the herd of rabbits.

Without gem, their loan would probably be the end of her.

Yes, she had gotten a loan to afford all the things she needed before they left to hunt the white rabbits.

After the season ended they came back asking to pay off the loan plus interest. Otherwise the guards in town will... Find a way to make us pay.

But we didn't have to worry about that problem. 5,513 Sunstrikes is more then enough.

So the loan of 200 Sunstrikes was paid back with the interest of 10 Sunstrikes after 2 months and we both left on happy terms. They even asked me again if I wanted to borrow more.

Considering I was going on break, I asked them for their card and told him maybe later. Never know when I might need some cash for a job.
