Several parties set off to the finally found dungeon. They have longed known this fox dungeon existed, yet never found it after the mysterious disappearance of the Thunderclap party. Although powerful in their own right, the Thunderclap party was considered the best of tier 1 parties around. There was rumors two of the leaders were going to challenge for the right to upgrade to tier 2...but they disappeared before any of that came to be.
As revenge for the most likely death of the entire party, the parties involved were drawn by the rewards the mercenary outpost has posted.
The dungeon information the Thunderclap's relayed said that the dungeon is estimated to be about level 170 tier 0. Realistically the mercenary outpost should increase the difficulty by 100 and add 1 tier. changing the dungeon to level 270 tier 1.
But family and connections came into play.
Two of the leader and vice-leader of the thunderclaps are the son and daughter of the blacksmith of the town and one of the mana scientists in town respectively. The moment they found out about their son's and daughter's disappearance did the town got flipped upside down. The blacksmith was furious to hear about the supposed death of his son after disappearing and paid the mercenary outpost a lot to jump the level of the dungeon beyond normal. The mana scientist on the other hand paid a hefty cost that would set her back 2 years of income to add on 2 tier bonuses.

But that's not the end of it, the blacksmith and mana scientist were a trio friends before their children made a party. The last third friend was the retired mayor in town. Although retired young, the mayor had many connections. With a few words to the current mayor, the mayor agreed to the retired mayor for a trade. A promise to help the mayor in his popularity campaign when reelection starts for an exchange of the word rebirth added to the dungeon.

Don't underestimate the additional word rebirth.
Although 0, rebirths of anything is considered a milestone. To even be mentioned the possibility of something reaching the threshold of rebirth for things like dungeons, monsters, or elementals sets them apart from the rest. let alone actually gaining the words rebirth 0.
So unknowingly the trio became somewhat famous in town for finally finding the hiding place of the dungeon. Many parties left right when the notice was posted with directions to the dungeon. after all, this is a dungeon that is estimated at level 270 tier 0 but boosted up thanks to all the connections related to the thunderclaps. The harvesting of any earnings inside the dungeon will also be boosted to correspond to that level for the first month. after one month will the actual level be set and the prices fixed. So the mercenaries are anxious to do a quick fight for easy money that's boosted tremendously because of backgrounds in town.
It's not everyday something like this happens, it is rare to find ways to increase the level or add things not existing in a dungeon or monster. And the death of a party discovering a new dungeon just so happens to be one of those ways.
5 of the 7 parties, totaling to about 100 elementals are around level 400 tier 1.
1 of the parties consisting of 17 elementals is around level level 200 tier 3.
