The intensity has reached the point where even the planet itself there on has drastically changed.

Gone, no longer are the fields of vast planes of lava. Approximately 10% of the planet is left covered in lava fields. Those lava fields themselves having half being flowing red magma, and the other half a dull red with spots of black. Evidence that those fields soon will harden in the coming years.

The rest of the 90% of the surface has completely hardened into a black terrain. Just... The terrain is 'unique' in its formation.

Some areas with mountains high and narrow, unlike any mountain naturally formed to be tall and wide. As if their peaks we're pulled from the ground by a sudden force from above.

Others with valleys formed irregularly in swirling patterns. The same kind of design a Whirlpool would shape in water. This too was affected by some systems that changed the landscape to act like water.

Some high ridges and canyons look irregularly shaped. This is normal, what's not normal is the rest of the many ridges and canyons that took shape to be straight and uniform. Looking like the planet was cut by a laser...or several lasers at once.

Ah Yes... I remember that glorious scene of watching those beams of energy carve out the very rock on this planet as if it was a hot knife through butter.

No, even faster than that. More like a sharpened knife through paper. The beams were quick and fast, never on the planet longer than a millisecond as most of its power was being bombarded on the gem. yet the gem still survived... And the planet was scarred instead.

Other places still look like a hodgepodge of patches or countless holes from the intense acidity or destruction from hundreds of thousands of drills.

So in all fairness... The planet suffered a catastrophe. But the majority of the catastrophe fell upon the gem that was forcefully awake for everything and can feel all of this. The systems even going so far as to increase the senses just so the gem can get a better 'experience'.

...Poor gem.

Didn't even realize how much the greatness the gem praises for itself is seen in other's eyes as narcissism and annoyance.

Maybe... By the end of this...the gem will learn something valuable.

Humility, respect, and understanding might come out of all this suffering.
