It's been a tradition every season to have bets be placed on who lasts the longest.

Some seasons the girls win with their high levels or classes.

Other times it's the boys that can last longer.

But either way, it's always entertaining to watch anyone however run around like a scared chicken running away from the power horses.

You don't want to confront one. First off you won't get paid if they catch you fighting back. Second, if the horse is injured you need to pay a fine. Thirdly, these horses are power horses. Power horses are known for one thing... Power!

The power they generate in their hooves when they stomp on you is enough to send a grown man to the coffin.

As such, lots of melee fighters sign up every season and specialize in being quick as a cat in reflexes and fast as a cheetah when moving about. Horses can easily catch up but they can't always maneuver as agile as these melee fighters can. If they could then those melee fighters would have never signed up in the first place for such a dangerous task.

But they always chase them, why? Because they annoy the horses. Yes, in order to attract attention so they don't attack the ones taking their babies. Mary fighters usually come with bags full of glitter bombs and annoying sound balls. Not only that, anything that could attract attention and hatred they would bring.

Granted It doesn't work all the time, sometimes they get smart and ignore everything around it so it can attack the ones taking their child.

Once that happens, the 25 job usually turns into a level 30 job. Because you get surrounded by those horses who can finally hit you and make you turn into a punching bag.

You never want to have that happen to you. Even if they are level 15 horses and your past level 30. You still feel sore after they hit you for more than 10 minutes nonstop and be forced to back out from there.

But every season, it happens like that. Some guy gets unlucky and has to take a blow from a horse. And then proceeds to get pummeled by all the other surrounding horses.

Happened so often that the sun strikes offered for the job was forced to increase to attract the attention of mercenaries. Although not fatal, no one likes to go home feeling sore after getting beaten down by a bunch of horses all day.

And then that evolved into a competition on who will survive the longest. Eventually evolving into what it is today.

And just like that. Our water elemental took her bag and walked straight into the open field.

Her and four others stood at the front, at the back where 20 others.15 of them are tasked with controlling the mare. Mares are more docile and won't aggressively attack until their baby is affected. These 15 work together on bringing the mares to a different pen. The last 5 job is to carefully handle the baby and bring it to the horse raising facility.
