Orion opened his eyes.
The tweeting of birds could be heard from his window, signaling the start of a new day.
He grabbed the pocket watch from the nightstand next to him and looked at the time.
"7AM..."
Feeling groggy, he placed the watch back where he grabbed it, and snapped his fingers.
Two barriers shattered. The first one being the magic surrounding his room stopping the sound from coming out of it, and the second being a rift around his bracelet, carefully placed on the table further inside the room, covered by the shirt he wore the day before.
"Umhm~"
From under the sheets, someone slowly rose from their slumber. The white cover slid, revealing a certain fairy, mumbling something as she woke up.
Long blue hair, a large scorpion tail, and barely opened eyes. Karteira sat in bed completely naked, rubbing her eyes while yawning.
While he felt something awaken inside him early in the morning thanks to her looking this attractive, he repressed his feelings and stood up. He walked near the table, picked up the folded clothes on it, and placed them on the bed, in front of his sleepy lover.
"Morning."
"Morning~"
Karteira blinked a few times, staring straight at Orion.
"You should wear something, or you're going to catch a cold."
"Yes... Huh?"
Her brain finally awakened, and with it, the memories of last night. Feeling a little bashful, even after experienced the joy of intercourse, she slowly reached for her clothes while hiding her breasts.
"Thanks."
Orion smiled gently and moved away, leaving her some space to process her feelings.
He walked toward his cupboard in the back of his room and opened it. Inside, he picked up a gray shirt-sleeved t-shirt, and black pants. Placing them on the table, he turned back to pick up some underwear, following his own advice.
All the while, Karteira's eyes kept following his figure. Since he was still completely naked, many memories kept coming back.
She shook her head furiously, before putting on her underwear. Both of them put their clothes on, and looked at each over.
"Feeling alright?"
Worriedly, Orion asked, remembering how rough he had been during the night. If there were any lasting injuries, he could heal them at any time.
"I'm fine. But what about you? I know I've bitten your shoulders and neck quite strongly..."
To make her feel better, he pushed the part of his shirt near his neck on both sides, and nodded.
"As you can see, all healed."
Breathing a sigh of relief, she walked closer to the table, and picked up two items.
The first one was the flower hair clip he had gifted her, which she clipped back into her hair without waiting.
As for the second one, it was the bracelet under Orion's shirt. She held it in her hands, before approaching him.
"Here."
With a warm smile on her face, she gave him the bracelet. Orion picked it from her hands, and wrapped it around his left wrist.
"Thank you."
He smiled and hugged her after that. She returned it, before letting go a few seconds later.
"What are you planning to do today?"
"It will depend. I have to go see Tiohr-nam, just in case I would have gone overboard again."
Karteira nodded. Hearing his own words, he sounded perfectly fine, so she wasn't worried in the slightest.
"If everything's fine, then..."
With a devious smile on his face, he looked at her.
"What do you say we fight for real? It's been a while since we've trained."
"Oh! Just like old times! Well, we haven't known each other for THAT long, but still!"
Excited, her tail swayed up and down while she pumped her fists.

Orion walked past her and moved toward his bed. He placed his hands on his hips and looked at the mess in front of him.
"I'll clean the room, so you can go take a shower, or have breakfast. I'll follow once I'm done."
"Alright. I'll prepare some coffee for you then."
"Thanks."
He nodded, before starting to remove his sheets. That was all Karteira saw before she closed the door behind her.
...
"Karteira. Good morning."
Amelia, already awake thanks to her daily training with her mother, greeted her in the kitchen.
"Good morning."
The two said hi to each other, before falling into an awkward silence.
"..."
"..."
Karteira walked toward the coffee maker and pushed the button. The machine rumbled, before a dark liquid poured into the cup Orion habitually drunk coffee from.
*Brrrrrrrr*
The rumbling sound broke the silence, while Amelia continued to prepare breakfast.
"Open your mouth."
"Wh- RFFF!"
The moment Karteira turned around and opened her mouth to ask why, Amelia shoved a slice of buttered bread in her mouth.
"So? How did it go?"
*Munch* *Munch*
While embarrassed, Karteira ate the slice of bread and swallowed it. She looked away, her cheeks red.
"It was... incredible."
"Did he-"
"Stop! I don't think it's alright to talk about this first thing in the morning!"
"Huh?! Why not?"
Exaggerating a shocked reaction, Amelia took a step back as if she had been betrayed.
"I don't want you to picture what happened! Just ignore me."
"Well, in that case, it's fine. I was partially joking, but I won't lie, I am curious."
Amelia placed her hand on her chin and began to think. She then looked at her friend and asked.
"Can you at least tell me if it was enough to make your knees give out?"
"..."
Karteira looked down, before nodding slowly.
"Ooh! He's such a beast. I really wasn't expecting him to be this relentless in bed."
With a similar blush on her face, Amelia turned around and picked up a slice of bread, before putting a corner in her mouth.
"I'm quite glad there are many of us to care for him..."
Both of them looked at each other with a dark veil on their faces.
"I won't be able to endure that every night."
"Me neither."
They both agreed that Orion was a monster of his own during sex. He was able to keep going for hours without being remotely tired.
Everyone who knew him knew that he had an almost unlimited amount of stamina, yet, neither Amelia nor Karteira imagined how peerless he would end up being in bed.
Just then, someone's footsteps were heard from the stairs, making both of them straighten abruptly.
Amelia almost dropped the food in her hand, and began to frantically try to catch it.
"Morning-"
Orion entered the dining room, when his eyes fell on Amelia, finally catching the slice with a relieved expression.
"M-Morning!"
She greeted him before pushing the slice in her mouth completely.
"H-Here! Your coffee!"
Karteira arrived with the cup in between her hands, and hurriedly gave it to him.
"Huh? Thanks."
"No worries."
In a fast pace, Karteira walked past him and walked down the corridor, before entering the ladies' changing room.
'What was that?'
Confused, Orion turned around toward the doorway Karteira had walked through, before looking at Amelia, who tried her best to focus on preparing breakfast.
'It's probably nothing important. It doesn't concern me.'
Orion placed his cup on the table and sat in his usual spot. After finishing his cup, he told Amelia that he was leaving the house for a bit, and warped to the fairy village, but not before playing with Sirius for a while.
...
After warping to the entrance to the fairy village, Orion took his time to see the progress made in rebuilding the place.
He ended up being amazed by the speed at which they integrated the knowledge of other factions into their own, creating various types of refreshing houses, different from their rudimentary way of building.
Once he had stepped foot inside the inner area of the village, Orion suddenly found himself flooded by a lot of fairies.
The oldest ones showed respect, while the younger ones displayed fascination. Nevertheless, all expressed a strong feeling of gratitude.
Orion had saved them not once, but twice. Giving them a chance in this realm, where they needed to start anew, was also mattered greatly to them.
For the very first time, in his mind, Orion thanked himself for not ignoring Tiohr-nam's call for help. Once he had talked with the fairies and shared a few other ideas on how to make their life a little more pleasant, he excused himself, proceeding toward the Queen's residence with the villagers waving behind him.
When he walked up the stairs, someone was already waiting for him. Motirion, the Queens' aid, welcomed him in before leading him to Tiohr-nam.
On the way, they discussed a little about what had happened, and how grateful he was to Orion for protecting not only his creator, but all of her children too.
When he finished, they arrived in front of the Tree's Room. Motirion opened the double doors and made a gesture for Orion to enter, a smile on his face.
In his heart, he trusted Orion, as much as every fairy living in Horizon now.
The door closed behind him, before a voice echoed from the tree.
"Orion, you have come at last."
"Yes. I came for a quick check-up."
Tiohr-nam's Avatar emerged from the trunk of the tree like a blooming flower. Her green hair swayed from left and right, before she shook her head to push them behind her.
"I have indeed felt the change in your body."
With a frown on her face, Orion thought he was in for another lecture, so he prepared himself.
"I should be congratulating you on becoming closer to your true self. I have heard the details from the twins yesterday, so you will not have to tell me the story."
"Haha~"
Orion laughed while walking further into the room. He grabbed the furthest chair, closest to the tree, and sat.
"So, did unleashing my angel side break something inside me? Or am I fine? I need to know, so I don't falter when it matters."
He stared at Tiohr-nam with a face expressing his seriousness.
"That is..."
'It turned out that bad?'
Thinking that he had once again pushed past his limits, he fell silent.
"Your body as been reconstructed completely. In fact, your soul is brand new, too."
With a look of disbelief, he stood up and faced her directly after taking a few steps forward.
"What do you mean? Is that a bad thing, or a good thing?"
"All I can say is that it is a good thing."
Tiohr-nam was an expert of the soul. If she said so, then it was definitely true.
Hearing that he was fine internally, Orion sighed and smiled.
"You've scared me for a moment."
"Were you on edge this whole time?"
"Of course I was. I promised the others not to push my luck too far. What was I supposed to say if I had damaged my soul again?"
The Avatar laughed and nodded.
"You are right. I had not thought of those consequences. Well, you can relax then. You are perfectly fine."
Orion returned to his seat and continued.
"I will do just that. Anyway, can you tell me in detail what happened to my body and soul?"
Both arms of the Avatar broke away from the trunk of the giant tree, covered in a healthy green moss.
She placed her right hand on her chin and entered her thoughts. Not long after, she opened her mouth.
"This might be a little long, do you mind?"
After shaking his head, Orion listened to everything with his eyes wide opened. He walked out of the manor, still making sense of what he had heard.
