A distortion was happening around Orion.
He was modeling space while trying to maintain its shape. The biggest problem with it was the difficulty he had maintaining its form.
The void element was truly on another scale compared to other elements.
"Kh!"
Orion clenched his teeth, feeling the gut wrenching feeling of space distorting around him.
Light pulsed around, then darkness. They alternated randomly, while vanishing as if they had never happened.
Only the deep darkness in front of Orion remained.
"Are you sure you can do it?! I don't want you to risk your life over this!"
Dramia shouted from below, but closed her mouth when she realized he couldn't hear her voice. With worry on her face, she contained the need to fly toward him.
"Ah!"
Just then, a part of the whirlwind shield opened right above Orion, and a large column of water fell on him.
The water split in two when it approached Orion, bent by the massive distortion.
On the ground, Florian and Kamala observed the changes happening.
"Is it growing? Do you know what he his planning to do?"
"That dark patch is definitely growing. He hasn't explained anything, but I can guess."
Florian answered Kamala with a worried expression. In the end, the fate of the fairies remained in his hands.
*CRACK*
Suddenly, the ground cracked in the distance, on the border of the village, similar to when Orion had lost control during his first attempt at creating the void element.
Roots emerged from the fissures and covered the hole where the water surged from. Orion smiled seeing that Tiohr-nam was finally beginning to act.
It was only a temporary measure, but it was enough.
'Alright, time to... push this to the limit!'
He took a deep breath, and closed both of his hands tightly. The stars that were engraved on the back of his hands appeared, and with it an explosion of light.
All over the village and above the tree, spheres of light and dark appeared, floating mindlessly. They remained still for a moment, until the light around Orion vanished, eaten by the distortion in front of him.
"No problem. This much is fine."
He nodded after checking his state. He tried to avoid bringing harm to himself while working on the distortion.
'My soul is fine, my body is fine, and my magic output is fine too. There's no reason to think it would fail.'
He shook his head and looked into the void.
'Don't lose focus... anything can happen still.'
-
"I'm going to merge the fairy realm with Horizon."
"Are you serious?!"
-
'I am more than serious. I said it before, for the ones I love, I will do anything.'
Remembering his short conversation with Dramia, he readied himself for the next part.
'Slowly... very slowly... merge.'
The spheres of light and dark began to approach each other, before merging together into similar void holes as the one in front of him.
An horrible pressure fell on the area, crushing anyone subjected to it, even Orion.
"GHHH!"
Dramia hurriedly dropped to the ground, unable to fly anymore. Her knees buckled as she looked at Orion who looked in pain.
Even the roots protecting Orion were affected by the pressure. It was as if the sky itself was falling on them.
It was difficult to breathe, but he pushed through.
'This is... harder than I thought...! Just... a little bit more!'
More and more darkness covered the sky, until those same void patches began to touch. The reaction instantly spread, and in a split second, they all merged together.

In that single moment, where the village stood, a vast crater took its place, with no traces of even a root of the Tree of Life. The water engulfed everything, and the fairy realm was no more.
...
*BLOOP*
Everything turned black following the sound of a droplet of water falling. The perception of the world suddenly changed for everyone involved.
Nothing could be felt anymore. The air turned still, and the sounds stopped. Even their own heartbeat became muffled.
The sky began to display stars similar to the night sky. One, two, three... rapidly, the sky turned brighter.
'We're in a space distortion. I just have to connect it to Horizon now.'
This situation was a first for Orion. After being explained what 'Space' was by Tetra, he began to learn more. He experienced it when he almost fell to his death, but learned a lot from it.
Doing a few experiments with his new skill, he learned that anything and everything could be warped. He just had to be extremely careful about its use.
It was a forceful and incredible force that warped the target anywhere Orion wanted it to be.
His magic was absorbed at an unbelievable pace while using it, so he had to be fast. The more time passed, the more likely it was for him to remain stuck in this place.
'Found it!'
Suddenly, a bright white star appeared in the sky, which grew in size rapidly until it replaced the darkness.
*FOOP*
Everything became normal again, with the exception of the sky being white. It took a little bit for the sounds to return, but when Orion heard the tweeting of birds, he breathed a long sigh of relief.
"Fuuuuuuu..."
Orion released his magic and fell to the ground rapidly.
"Damn... this was exhausting. Though, I did not lose control."
He smiled to himself.
"Wai-!"
Dramia hurriedly flew toward him to catch him, while another buzzing sound of wings echoed behind her the moment she left the ground.
"Sis! Hurry!"
"I know!"
Both sister flew toward Orion, and caught him a few meters above the ground. Both grabbed an arm, before gently releasing him on the ground.
"Oh... Thanks."
He thanked the twins before sitting on the dirt.
"Don't mind it!"
"We can't have anything happen to you."
They both looked at each other, before crouching in front of him. They grabbed his hands, and dropped their heads.
"Thank you for saving the fairies."
"Yes. None of us would have been able to do what you did."
When they saw the starry roof, they both acknowledged that they were back in Horizon. As an even better proof, they recognized the sounds of the waves from the Siren Sea.
Orion lightly laughed, before letting his body rest on the ground. Dramia and Drania were pulled with him and fell on his chest.
"Whoa!"
"Hyaa!"
He looked at Horizon's sky and smiled while holding their hands.
"I did it because I wanted to. If I have the power to do something, I will. More so if it makes your life a little better."
"We know."
"Hmm~"
They nodded. At last, Motirion opened the doors of the manor, letting the fairies out to find that they were saved.
Tiohr-nam's roots returned underground too. At that moment, it finally registered for Orion.
'Wait... I really brought the fairy realm to Horizon.'
Disbelief took over him, as the situation was finally resolved. He couldn't believe his own power.
The last of the whirlwind shield vanished, and Kamala breathed a sigh of relief while being in Florian's arms.
"You're alright?"
"I am fine. Let's join Orion."
"Right."
Florian pondered for a moment if he was to let the tired Kamala walk, and then remembered how Orion treated his women.
He crouched, and picked up Kamala.
"Hey, what are yo- Hiii!"
Kamala placed her hands on her skirt to avoid it being flipped, but she had no reason to, as Florian carefully placed his arm under her to avoid that.
"You're tired. You can rest sometimes too, you know?"
With a smile on his face, he walked down the path and got to Orion, who stood up by this point.
After they joined, Orion returned home and explained everything to the others. Kamala and Florian both returned home with a lot to think about.
...
The next day.
"We have a huge mess to clear now."
Said Dramia with a frown on her face, back to her usual cold expression.
"Well... I don't want to do it. Sis, do it."
"You're helping. There's no way out of it."
"Whyyyyy?!"
Drania jumped on Orion's lap and began to cry.
"Haha~"
"Don't pamper her! She's a Queen too! I don't want all the responsibilities while she just plays around."
With a huge slam, Dramia dropped her hands on the table and pointed at her sister.
Currently, they were in the Tiohr-nam's room, talking about what to do.
The fairies returned to their homes to access the damages, but from the looks of it, not much was recoverable. They had to build everything from scratch again.
The floods damaged every structures of the village, with the Tree of Life and the Queen's manor as exceptions.
"We have to explain to our people that we have moved away from our island. We need to think about the reconstruction of their homes, we also need to take care of food. It's not like we have the same fauna around here."
Dramia was worried about the people she managed until now as their Queen. Their wellbeing was her priority at the moment.
"You can take this opportunity to improve the infrastructures altogether. If you need materials, then Amelia should be able to help. Bring her some recipes and she should happily help you."
"Right. I will speak with her later."
Orion nodded and continued.
"I can share a few blueprints with you. They are from the beastmen's buildings though."
"I don't think we have the leeway to refuse your help. Drania, you go talk with the fairies to know if they agree."
"I will."
Wiping her false tears, Drania nodded.
"For the food..."
This was the most worrisome problem for her.
"I will see with the arachnea if they can help you. Also, have a chat with Senia, maybe you can have a share of the fishes. I heard there had been a large quantity of fishes populating the sea recently."
"..."
She opened her eyes wide.
"Thank you."
"Don't mind it."
Then, she turned her face toward Tiohr-nam.
"And you... You better make it up somehow. I'm still angry at you for losing hope so easily."
The Avatar looked terribly apologetic.
"..."
Tiohr-nam remained silent, knowing that whatever she would say would get Dramia more angry.
*Sigh*
Finally, Dramia let go of her anger.
"We can't stay on bad terms now that everything is being resolved. I'll forgive you. I'm sure you were blaming yourself anyways."
"Dramia..."
They looked at each other for a few seconds, until Dramia spoke again.
"That's why, you better work hard. We'll need you more than ever. Trees, plants, whatever you can do."
"I'll do what I can."
"Great."
Dramia smiled to her, which made the tree silent.
'I don't regret saving these two, even after all this time. I will thank Tia-Norun once again later for making me save them.'
She was grateful that they were still with her today.
With the fairies having a new home, and with the difficulties of starting everything from nothing, a new page of history turned.
While this event came to an end, Elliott and Nylon were walking East, approaching the place were the corruption began.
