Species: Bloodsucker
Family: Undead
Risk level: High
Weaknesses: Blunt force, Ripped membrane
Description: Very unusual type of the undead due to the requirements in which they must form. First of all they need almost rivers of blood, and relative small amounts of other bodies in the vicinity for them to rise. Because of that there where only two instances where they formed naturaly.
Unfortunately, in most of the noted cases they where created artificially, by human hands. They look like crimson skeletons covered in thick layer of cristalized blood. Under it you can see a pulsating mass of liquified blood that allows it to move, and in joints there is a thin layer of red membrane that protects the blood from leaking. Due to that they are very durable to any kind of damage, and the only way to kill them is to first weaken them by cracking their exterior or cutting the membrane and then smashing the exposed skeleton.
This, of course, isn't ease due to their sheer power and stranght. They can easily smash through metal plates and boulders. It doesn't help that their structure allows them some basic shapeshifting that they use to create spikes and turn their hands into blades.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
If seen in the wild it is required to inform the nearest hunting organisation to deal with the threat as fast as possible, before it manages to gather even more blood, and in turn more power. After their demise, their leftovers can be used for regenerating lost limbs, healing permanent damages and creating bases for homunculi and automatons.
Personal notes: "I once witnessed the process in which they were created. Of course it was arificial, or otherwise I would have to wait for weeks for it to end. The lab in which it was initiated had one giant glass container filled to the brim with blood. I tested the composition of that blood and it turned out that it was mostly old, pig and cow blood. There were hints of other animals and a little bit of human blood. After the preperation they put a single human skeleton inside, covered in thick chains and completely immobilized. Then they sealed the container and set the temperature of the blood to the boiling heat. Around ten minutes later the blood was completely absorbed by the skeleton, which then tried to break free of its containment. They managed to kill it easy enough, but due to recklessness of one of the operators it managed to free one of its arms and cut with it two of the personel. After it was killed they used the remains of the skeleton to heal the daughter of the organizator of the project. Turnes out that with enough luck and preperations even monsters can be used for good." Dr. Philips Giarno, Plague Doctor
