Ein looks at Rev. “Sometimes you must go through hardships in life so you can better appreciate the good times. The twin gods are working in your favor Rev everything that happens is for the sake of shaping you into the person you are meant to be,” Ein tells Rev.
Rev looks unsure and Ein gets on a knee “Rev, do you believe I would lie to you about such things?” Ein asks.
“No…not at all” Rev responds.
Ein smiles “Good…If you can not yet put your faith in the twin gods. I ask you, then at least put your faith in me. Can you do that for me Rev?” Ein asks.
Rev hesitates for a moment, but his answer is said with confidences “Yes…yes I can,” Rev says looking up at Ein.
After 13 long years, Rev had finally learned to truly trust.
-Day 100 of the jungle.
The last of 60 days has been a repetitive cycle, but one that Ein and Rev have grown to like. The training had only gotten more intense. Even their walking days have grown more efficient. Covering much more land than before. The lessons along the way shortened. Ein having less and less to teach Rev. He has made sure to keep Rev’s mind sharp.
“Ok Rev, tell me the commandments in order.” Ein says.
Rev begins to list them off “#1, You shall not kill your fellow believer or possible believers. #2,You shall not kill your fellow believer or possible believers.#3, My follows will have no room for fear in their heart.#4,You shall not tell lies in reference to the twin gods.#5, you shall not make a mockery of prayer.#6, you shall not argue amongst your fellow followers.#7, You shall not show mercy to evil.#8, You shall not force yourself upon someone.#9, you shall not create false gods or follow false gods in any sense.#10, you shall not be greed, but instead share your blessings with all who deserve them. Then the unforgivable sins. Those who claim to be good can not be forgiven. Those who kill the faithful without remorse, or take pleasure in it, cannot be forgiven. That's all of them…right?” Rev says.
“Yes Rev, well done” Ein praises Rev patting him on the head.
Rev and Ein have changed the pace of their days. Starting off every day by trying to get food for breakfast as fast as possible. Then they begin their run. They keep a consistent run until about mid day then they go into a well paced walk. Or if it's a training day, they will stop after there Run and try to look for food. Then begin their training after they eat. Ein has tried to incorporate fasting into their routine from time to time.
“So we go the whole day without eating and then eat at night? Why would we do that?” Rev asks.
Ein laughs “Yes, it sounds silly when you put it like that, but the purposes is like I thought you many days ago. Sometimes, to appreciate what you have, you need to experience a day without it. Such as food. This is one of the reasons we thank the twin gods for ever meal we eat. The fasting is also a good practice of discipline. To challenges one self. Remember Rev never stop trying to improve yourself.” Ein tells Rev.
Rev gives an unsure look, but despite that, goes along with it. “If you say so, Ein.” Rev says.
-Day 101 of the jungle.
This is a training day. Much more intense than before. Rev shoots out of the trees, blasting himself backwards away from Ein.
“Catch me if you can old man,” Rev calls out.
Rev scan below him, spotting Ein. The then send out a counter wave to stop from pin pointing him. Rev then pinballs himself down and through the trees. Rev then sends out a wave behind him to see where Ein is. Rev feels him on the wave and quickly pulls it back. Then makes a quick right turn and waits to see what Ein does. “Slippery elf that kid is,” Ein thinks as he has appeared to have lost Rev. Rev on the other hand is watching him from inside a bush. Ein quickly expands his outer source all around him. Rev quickly moves range, watching as Ein pulls his source back in. Rev smirks as he heads towards the camp. Rev eventually makes it safely away and watches as Ein comes walking in a few moments after him.
“You get lost, old man?” Rev sarcastically asks.
“You win this ground, kid, but I still hold the record,” Ein says.
Rev rolls his eyes “Don’t get too comfortable with it” Rev responds.
Ein laughs, “As ambitious as ever, I see. That's good to hear. Who about we do some close range casting” Ein ask.
Rev's eyes ignite like a hungry flame. “Yeah!” Rev excitedly responds.
Ein smiles “Alright, no full force attacks. Remember, the objective is to hit without getting hit yourself.” Ein tells Rev.
Rev counts down.“Am ready…3…2….1”
The sparing begins. Close colossal swings come at Rev, but his movements are fluid. Weaving in a and out. Ein creates a stone wall behind Rev in an effort to close off his exits. Rev coats the wall instead and boosts himself up while he pulls the wall apart and sends it flying toward Ein. Ein uses a wind blast stored in his foot to boost him out of the way. Rev then begins to create his net. Dashing around creating stone pillars to bounce off of as he shoots in and out to land hits on Ein. Ein creates a stone staff and uses it to fend off Rev's attacks. He keeps his outer source at a medium range, giving him enough time to counter Revs quick attacks. Rev is unfazed by this obstacle. As he creates pillars and bounces off of them, he is pulling in source from around him and using it to coat every pillar he makes. Ein is currently on the defensive, but he’s seen this tactic from Rev before he knows what’s coming and he’s not in favor of letting it happen. He simply waits for the moment to strike. Rev stops bouncing around and shoots himself up above Ein. “Not this time kid….” Ein thinks to himself. Ein quickly creates a massive stone pillar and starts to spin around, destroying all the smaller stone pillars Rev had made.

“HEY!” Rev calls out.
Ein then lunges the stone pillar up at Rev. Rev simple dashes out of the way and still seeing the coating on the stone even tho its is ruble it can be useful to Rev. He pulls the pieces up to him and uses them to bounce around in the air as he starts shooting some of the piece down at Ein. Ein uses the stone pillar that landed up right as cover as he runs around it. Ein is not worried yet. He is building up wind charges in his core, ready to have them shoot down to his feet at a second's notice. He is waiting for the perfect opening. Rev has seen Ein’s speed in action before and has no intention of standing still for even a moment to let Ein pounce on him. Rev’s stamina has grown significantly. He has no problem dashing around for as long as he has to. Rev is the one applying pressure currently, but he is running out of stones to throw at Ein. Rev can’t afford to wait any longer. He needs to make his attack now. He quickly plans out a route and executes it right after. Left, right, right, left, right, down. landing on them and quickly starts running around Ein. He coats the dirt loose dirt on the ground. He then goes in boosting himself up and over Ein. Pulling hard on the dirt, Ein wind blast it away. As he does, Rev comes up behind him and tries to land a blow while his back is turned. The second Revs enter the range of Ein’s outer source, he turns and traps rev extended arm in an upside-down triangle of stone. The gab in the middle trapping Rev’s arm.
“Nice try kid. You really had me on high alert the whole time,” Ein says as he playfully pokes Rev's forehead. “But it seems am the victory,” Eins says with a laugh.
Rev glares up at Ein “Just let me out of here already old man” Rev annoyingly says.
“You can free yourself, kid. I believe in you,” Ein says.
Rev signs and looks at the problem at hand. He uses his free hand to coat the stone trap gab and then attempts to rip it apart.
“Slow down kid, you don’t want to top part to fall on your hands,” Ein tells Rev.
Rev slows down his pull, letting the stone crack as he tries to pull his arm out at the same time.
“That's it” Ein says.
The rock cracks slowly chipping away at the gab, making it ever so larger for Rev to slide his arm free.
“See kid, that wasn’t so hard was it” Ein says.
Rev gives Ein a look. "Would have been easier if you didn’t trap my arm in the first place,” Rev responds.
Ein laugh “I guess you're right in that. How about we go get ourself some dinner?” Ein suggests.
“Now that’s more like it, old man. Finally, a good idea comes out of that mouth,” Rev says.
“Charismatic as always, I see,” Ein says as he pats Rev on the head.
-Day 110 of the jungle.
today is a seemingly normal day.
“Alright Rev let's head out.” Ein says.
Rev is finishing his food, then quickly gets up to follow after Ein. As they begin their normal run through the jungle, Rev notices weirdly similar moment.
“Ein… all the animals I've seen have been running past us.” Rev tells Ein.
“I believe you're right. I can feel them pass through my outer source.” Ein says.
“Let’s not let our guard down. There is surely a cause for such behavior.” Ein says.
They continue there run through the jungle until they can no longer see or sense any other creates.
Ein stops “Have you seen any creatures of any sort lately?” Ein asks.
“No, I havn’t” Rev responds, as he checks all around them.
“I don’t see a thing…what if” Rev looks up. “…What….is that….Ein there's something coming…it’s flying.” Rev says.
Ein sees the look on Rev’s face “am guessing it's not a barrow you're seeing” Ein says.
Rev's eyes grow wide. “Ein, I think we have earned a meal, don’t you think?” Rev asks.
“A meal?…Rev…you can’t be-”
Rev instantly flashes through his hand signs and shoots a stone arrow at full power, pushing himself back a bit.
PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!
The arrow bolts through the air, but the beast reacts, moving out of its direct path. The arrow still digs into the scales of the beast's side.
“BRAAAAAAAAAA” the beast calls out.
“That yell…Rev what have you done?” Ein looks up at the beat, no clear to see.
“Woah it moved out of the way.” The challenge only serves to fuel Rev’s ambition.
“Rev, we shouldn’t fight such a creature. it’s too large to eat. Leave it alone.”Ein scolds Rev.
Rev pouts “But…Ein..”
“No Rev, ambition is one thing, greed is another. Do not get the two mixed up.” Ein tells Rev.
They keep them self low and let the beast pass. “I can’t believe I've just seen a Lorama, can’t say am surprised about Rev shooting it though. That kid could be trouble if he’s ever left alone.” Ein thinks.
Rev scuffs, and he watches the creature fly away. "It didn’t even put up a fight…wait” Rev says.
“yeah where are lucky aren't we…will say it is kinda strange behavior for that beast. You did land hit on it….” Ein says.
Rev looks back then forward, scanning all around. “Could…it of been running too?, What would a monster like that be running from?” Rev asks.
Ein thinks for a moment “No, it couldn’t of been. It was probably to focus on chasing the other creatures we saw. Us two would hardly be a meal for such a beast. Besides, there's nothing in this country that would send it flying away at that speed,” Ein confidently says.
Rev perks up from his lowered position “If you say so” Rev says.
besides, I don’t see anything in front of us…wait…what are we going to eat?” Rev ask.
Ein laughs “Come on Rev have I thought you nothing? Our fasting practice will pay off.” Ein says.
“fasting…No,no,no, not again.” Rev says.
“It’s fine. The jungle is full of fruits. It should hold us over. Besides, I am confident that our faster pace will allow us to reach our first destination soon.
Rev curiously looks up at Rev. “Will there be food at this dest-ina-tion of yours?” Rev mockingly asks.
“There will be and much more than that. We will be meeting an old friend of mine…” Ein says as he looks forward. “Morton is on the horizon…”
“Morton?!” Rev repeats.
“Don’t worry Rev am sure you’ll feel right at home there.” Ein tells Rev.
