Rev is left with no information on Loka’s whereabout, but the satisfaction of seeing the inner city is enough to keep him going for now.
-3 weeks later.
News of a dark elf has burning city downs and killing high ranking elfs has spread. The royal family have deemed him a wanted man. He wanted posters in sending out with the name “Red eyes” as the target. Wanted_Red eye_Dead or alive_ 5 Grace.
“Grace?”
“Yes, grace was the currency of the royal family. 1 grace is the same as 1 million credits.”
Rev in this time has gone around the city taken food and reassures as he pleases. Taking on a new cloak and clothes. The local at first scared of him, but in the week of his stay he brings them no harm at all. Some come forward and ask who he is.
“Um…Don’t mean to bug you, but…who are you?” A young man asks.
“Who I am is no concern to you. I once lived in this city, but I escaped it long ago.”
“And you came back to save us?” he asks.
“Save you?”
“Yes, you were the one that burned down the inner city, right?” the man asks.
“Yes, that was me, but I came here looking for a someone.” Rev says as he shows the man a picture of Loka.
“Have you seen this man?” Rev asks.
“…Um…would you be…an ally of that person?” The man anxiously asks.
Rev scoffs, “Not at all. Am going to kill him,” Rev tells the young man.
The man's eyes grow wide. “What? you can’t do that. I mean maybe. Am not saying you're weak. Its just…You know that man is Loka, right?” The man says, fumbling over his words.
“I am aware of who he is. Which doesn’t change my question. Now, have you seen him?” Rev once again asks.
“Well, yes, I have.” The young man says.
“What did you see?” Rev asks.
“He came through town a month or two back. I remember with in second of his arrival, Thomas came flying down. From what I heard, he was here looking for someone I believe it was…Reveshto Rise. Thomas said no such person exits. Loka began to choke him out, but Thomas kept insisting that he didn’t know such a person. He then walked away with the floor froze below him. All I heard him say after that was on to the next.” The man tells Rev.
“Next? did you see where he was going?” Rev asks.
“He was heading North west.” The man says.
“Hmm,” Rev says, pulling out his map. “Carter city.” Rev whisper to himself.
He then walks away, leaving the man confused behind him. Rev head straight for Carter. By the time Rev will get there, it will be snowing there. Rev starts his travel through the thick forest.
-2 weeks later
Rev has run into a surprising amount of human settlements along the way. Rev sending out waves of source can see sense them far before they can ever see him. When they do see him, most try to hide or give him things.
“Here, take it. It's all we have!” The man tells Rev, handing him 2 loafs of bread.
“Am ok keep your dusty bread.” Rev responds.
The man gives a confused look that turns to worry. “Please don’t kill us. We can dust off the bread.” The man pleads.
“I said am fine. Am not going to kill you,” Rev repeats.
Rev then walks away. Leaving the man confused, yet relieved. Rev continues his journey.
-4 months later.
Rev’s travels have gotten longer than he expected. Rev has not lost sight of his purpose in the slightest. Day by day, step by step. Rev pushes forward as winter approaches. Rev has reached farm land far out from any city view. Rev approaches the farm, seeing kids and man alike working in the fields, all human. Rev sees the pitiful source with in them. His gaze switches to the guard that watches over them intently. Rev was about to pass through when he saw a smile on the guard's face. The elf guard raises a large whip. Rev saw the tip of it glow with source. Then end piece was made of source metal. Rev eyes widen as he hears the snap of the whip on the humans bear's back.
Rev scoffs, “Hey!” Rev calls out.
The guard turn to the sound, but Rev is gone. He is now in front of the guard. He shoots back in his chair when he turns back to meet Rev's crimson eyes. He tries to cast an art, but Rev grips his hand and holds his source still.
“Are these the farms for Carter city?” Rev ask.
“Who do you think you-”
Rev lights his hand on fire.
“AHHHHH!!” the guard screams.
The field works look at what is happening. They do not know if they are shaking more from fear or the cold.
Rev sighs, “Is this the farm for Carter?” he asks again.
“Yes!” The guard yells.
“Hmm, how did you get your hands on source metal?” Rev asks.

The guard gives a confused look as he takes deep, heavy breaths. “Carter city was built of source metal. I got it from there as a promotion bonus, if you really have to know. Now who-”
Rev ignites the rest of the guard's body and stabs his heart with his source dagger.
“AH!….”
“Death can be so loud,” Rev says in annoyances.
The farm works now all stare at him. Rev pulls the dagger out of the guard after absorbing all the source left in his body.
“What?” Rev says.
They open their mouths, but no sound comes out. Rev picks the whip up and they all turn their backs. Rev pulls the end of the whip to his hand and takes out the source metal piece. He compares the dark blue color to the now reddish color of the tip of his dagger. He stashes it in his cloak.
“Where is your food?” Rev asks.
The trembling men turn to face him and one of the points. Rev walks inside the building, not much different from the one he grows up in. He hops over the counter and takes what he needs. Rev then leaves out the entrance and heads for Carter city. Rev comes across many other farm camps. He kills every single guard with in them.
-1 month later.
Not much has happened other than the snow starting to fall. The farms scattered around now turned to mine. The sound of metal hitting rock echoed throughout the valley. After a while comes across a mine that sits direct ally in his path. These mines were much more heavily guarded than the farms. Where the farms would have at most two guard, the mines had upwards of 10. With 3 circling around the top walls. Rev in a blind spot dashes up the wall, taking the guards out one by one. Slitting the throats with his dagger. Before then could even blink it all faded to black as there all life left their body. Rev let them down slowly to not make a noise. Rev coats his dagger and activities the fuel on the swap art. He throws it as it cuts through the air its self, lugging its self right into a guard's neck. Rev swaps with the blade moments after contact. The last thing the guard sees is the slight glow in Rev’s crimson eyes. Rev pulls his dagger to him. Rev sends out a wave of source waiting to see what is caught in it. Two guards stand in his way to the mines. Rev pre cast fire two fire blasts and dashes out, sending a fire blast at each of guards. Rev continues as their cries of agony echo. The last few guards turn to him. Before they can react, Rev slits the throat of one guard and calmly walks over to the last.
“Hey where do you keep the source metal?” Rev asks.
The guard is stunned, looking at the surrounding bodies, motionless and on fire.
“Who are you!?” He yells.
Rev sighs “Why does everyone ask me that? Just tell me where the source metal is.” Rev tells the guard.
The guard moves all his source t his hand. Rev stabs it with his dagger.
“Don’t do that. Just show me where the metal is and ill be on my way.” Rev says.
The dagger begins to drain the guard of his source. It feels as if his breath is being taken from him. Rev takes the dagger out. The guard fall to his knees gasping for air. His eyes start to roll to the back of his head. Rev grabs him by his collar.
“HEY! don’t die on me yet,” Rev yells.
His body goes limp, he has given up on it all. Rev scoffs and drops the elf on the ground. He goes into the mines.
“COME OUTSIDE,” he yells.
Over 15 men covered head to toe in dirt come out huffing and puffing. They try to look at Rev, but it seems most the men are damn near blind in the light.
“Where is the source metal kept?” Rev asks.
The men look confused and one of them hands them a chunk of raw source metal. Rev takes it and it crumbles in his hands. He dust it off and gives it some source. “I guess the stuff is really brittle, if it has no source in it at all.” Rev thinks. The men stand there with a confused expression. On their face.
“Who…are you?” One of them finally asks.
“Doesn’t matter. You’ll never see me again.” Rev tells them.
Rev then boosts himself over the wall. The men are left more confused than ever. Rev got back on track finding a man made path. The floor below him felt weird even. Rev walked along the unusually wide path until he her a strange sound. Rev retreated into the trees. A vehicle Rev had never seen before passed through at rapid speed. A box with 4 wheels at the bottom of it. “What was that thing” Rev thought to himself. Rev continued on the path and more and more of these vehicles appeared. Rev took a closer look to see no source was at work. Rev continued now following on the side of the path to not be spotted.
-1 day later.
Rev had spotted the city much larger than he had ever seen before. Building that pierces the clouds, it seemed. The city lay out like most he's seen before. Large building in the middle with smaller ones the more you go out, but as Rev entered the city full of humans and elfs alike. He noticed wide buildings with food inside. Rev looked around at what he described as a more refined Lavek city. There were large paths with two smaller paths on the side. It seemed the large path where meant for those strange vehicles Rev had seen before. Rev walks along the sidewalks taking in the city. The noised of the vehicle and people's conversation echoed all around him. The inner city was not walled off in any way. People in the inner city did wear weird clothing. Some seeming impractical. He heard the humans boasting about the symbol on their clothes. Rev had seemed to have entered a different world. Rev felt out of place. He tried to ask, but before he could open his mouth, the person would be gone. Everyone felt like there were in such a hurry. Rev grow inpatient, he took a breath and spoke a loud.
“WHERE IS LOKA!?”Rev shouted.
The surrounding people paid him no attention. Some scoffed and walked past him. Rev moved swiftly through hand signs before raising his hand shoots a fire blast in the sky. The surrounding people scattered.
“Another maniac on Green wood drive.” A man said.
Rev looked confused. Before he know it, 3 vehicles with flashing lights surrounded him. They pulled out a weapon of sorts.
“FIRE!”
BANG!
Rev wind blasted up, catching himself on a building ledge.
“FIRE”
BANG!
Rev took cover on the roof. The projectile pierced through and hit rev leg. A jolt of pain flashed through Rev’s body. Blood started to pool out of him.
“FIRE!”
BANG!
Rev rolled out of the way this time. He took a breath and looked at his leg. A hole had appeared. He tried to heal it, but he couldn’t. “What’s going on?” Rev asked himself. He took a closer looked. Then pulled the projectile out of his leg. It was like a cone like spear made of source metal. Rev heard as footsteps approached, but from where. He looked up to see a door to the roof was in front of him. The foot steps from below grow louder. He brought source to his wound and healed it the best he could. He ripped some clothes from his shirt and tied it off around the wound. The door flied open as 6 armed men came through.
“FI-”
Rev shoots a fire blast at them.
“fire…” Rev whisper.
The men turned their backs as the fire hit. Rev stood up. Something was wrong. The fire wasn’t spreading. Before he knew it, the fire was gone. Rev saw it absorb by the men, but how? The men in the front stayed with their backs turned as the others fired at Rev. He dodge shoot after shoot. Rev threw his a dagger in the air above them. They all looked. Rev dashes forward and to the side. Fire blasting at the unguarded officers. Then he swaps with the dagger and shoots another fire blast from above before they could even react to the first one. He pulls his dagger back into his hand and slit the throat of the man he lands on. The two officers that had their backs turned are now on fire, but in their last moments shoot Rev point blank as he lands.
BANG!!
They fly through his chest. His very breath is taken from him. Then hands can no longer hold the weapon. They all fall to the ground as their flesh is burnt to a crisp. Rev lays there on their burning bodies with blood gushing out of him. His vision begins to blur.
“no…not now…it can’t be…not…like this,” Rev muttered. He struggles as ever, breath brings him closer to death. For a moment, it is all gone. The city goes silent.
“get up”
A voice filled Rev’s body. Rev’s vision almost lost. He digs inside his open wounds and pulls the source metal out. He pulls the flames around him closer. They fill his wound and feed off the source inside him. Rev breaths in air and breaths out a dark smoke. The fire is absorbed into him, returning to the source it was originally made of. Rev blinks, his eyes flash a bright purple and his breath goes clear.
“not yet”
It all fades. Rev is left laying in the men's body as it starts to snow, with his body feeling unusually warm.
