-Day 36 of the jungle.
Rev hasn't been able to stop thinking about what ein had told him before. "It wouldn't be sinful to kill someone hat has committed an unforgivable sin..." Rev thinks. "...but where my family themself even believes. was it even a sin to kill them? Maybe if they had met Ein, they could have been believers. Then killing them would be going against one of the commandments." Rev can't keep these thoughts to himself.
"Ein...so the person that killed my family. Would-"
"Rev, what did I tell you before? Revenge is a path full of hate. The person that killed your family, do you know them?"
"No... I don't, but I heard their voice." Rev says.
"Ok, so you don't know them. What if the person that killed your family was hired to do it? For money to feed their family or there self. What if they felt remorse for your family? I mean, they didn't kill you, did they? What if they couldn't bring themself to kill an innocent child? Maybe there is remorse in there heart for you and what they did for you. Can you make a judgement on someone you haven't ever talked to alone? Because that's when people's true self come out. With no one else is around. No need to put on an act to uphold to others standers. To have a simple isolated conversation. That is where the truth comes out. Least in my experience." Ein tells Rev.
"Guess you're right..." Rev says.
"Remeber Rev, it doesn't matter who you kill. It won't bring them back."Ein tells Rev.
Rev lets out a breath and hugs Ein tightly. "Rev...." Ein whispers, hugging him back. Rev clings to Ein, feeling the warmth fill him once more.
-Day 37 of the jungle.
Back to training, it is. Starting off with source control. Pulling against each other again.
"Good Rev, it's important to find and know your limits. If you stretch yourself to thin. Someone can swoop up and pull your source from away from you," Ein tells Rev.
Rev looks at the around, seeing how far he can affectively pull in source. "Yeah, I can see it." Rev responds.
Once done with the warmup, they go into art casting. Rev runs through the trees, weaving in and out of them. Ein and Rev are playing a simple game of tag. Ein watches Rev, feeling the vibration on the ground and sensing him in his source. Once he does, he pulls the source back in and runs to him. Rev spots Ein easily and starts to climb the tree. He then boosts himself off the tree to another. Ein for his size and surprisingly nimble. Rev looks behind him and doesn't see Ein anywhere. Ein's finger pierces through the tree's leafs to Rev's foot. Rev feels as Ein's hand enters his outer source. He quickly lunches his self up. Then creates a stone panel behind him and flips his bods around to boost forward, coating it in source before he does. He watches Ein below him as he does all of this. Rev sees a wind blast coming his way. He pulls the stone panel to block the wind blast. Then reuses the panel to boost forward again. A smirk falls on Rev's face. Ein is not done, though he loads up wind charges. Ein climbs up a tree to try to spot Rev.
"Got you," Ein whisper.
In an instant Ein shoots down 3 wind charges in each foot, shooting him forward. Before Rev can react, he feels Eins hand touch his back.
"How did you even..." Rev says.
They both land safely on the tree below them. Then climb down to talk.
"how am i so to stop you when you can go that fast?" Rev asks.
Ein laughs. "You must learn to anticipate your opponent's movements. If you knew you weren't going to win a battle of speed, then don't take the fight into the air, where I have a straight path to you. If you where you stay in the trees, you can use the environment to your advance. You can see me before I see you. Use that information to plan out your next steps. Imagine what would be the most effective escape route if I were to come at you straight on or on your left or right or above you. The point am trying to make is mitigate split second decision as much as you can," Ein explains.
Rev blankly stares at Ein. "yeah....ok" he responds.
"Lets take a break and eat," Ein suggests.
Rev's face lights up "Yeah let's eat"
Ein prepares dinner while Rev practice his source control some more.
"Food is ready!" Ein calls out.
"Coming..."Rev sits down. "Thank you twin gods for the meal. We will not let any of it go to waste." Rev prays.
Then finish dinner and return to training.
"Ok, back to tag. This time you're it," Ein tells Rev.
"Am ready." Rev tells Ein.
Ein starts running into the jungle, boosting himself forward. Rev tracks him through the trees. He then uses the trees to dash towards Ein. Rev sees the path Ein is taking and makes an effort to cut him off. Ein expands his outer source wind for a second before pulling it in. It was enough to pin point Revs movements on his left. Ein starts makes a shift running right. Rev notices Ein is not running away from him.

"Sneaking old man," Rev whispers.
Ein keeps quickly expanding and retracting his outer source. Ein tracks Rev's consistent movements and predicts his path, shooting a wind blast in front of Rev. Rev is so focuses on Ein he barley dodges the wind blast. Even though it didn't hit, it did its job of slowing Rev down. Ein is now wrapping around Rev. back to their base camp. Rev sees the path he's taking and books it back to base to meet him there. He has taken note of how big Ein makes his outer source and makes sure to stay out of its range. Ein, not detecting Rev "He's either lost me or he's making sure to keep out of range. With those eyes of him am sure he hasn't lost me." Ein thinks. Ein then boost himself to camp as fast as he can. Rev hears the sound of the wind blast as it shakes the trees in the distance. Rev takes to the skies in an effect to catch up. He expands his outer source in intervals like he has seen Ein do. He feels him in his web and looks towards him. It's too late. Ein has already made it back to camp. Rev soon after landed in front of Ein with a defeated look on his face.
"You need to be more carful child. Just because you're the one chasing doesn't mean your opponent can't fire back." Ein tells Rev.
"Ok...but I figured out your trick. You shoot out your outer source like waves. They go out, then pull back in faster and faster. It's like having eyes in the back of your head." Rev says.
"Indeed, you did. Well done Rev, I know you would figure it out. I felt you using it on me at the end." Ein tells Rev.
"Well, I'll catch you next time. Come on, the sun's going to go down soon." Rev says.
"Ok child, we have time for 2 more rounds. I'll hold you to your word," Ein says.
Rev and Ein go another 2 rounds of tag. Rev making big strides blocking one of Ein's tag attempt by casting a wall behind himself. An impressive feat, all considered. In the end, Ein won ever round.
-Day 38 of the jungle.
A rest long walking day follows.
"How much longer do you think it will take, Ein?," Rev asks.
"Well, if I had to guess it, we have probably made it about a fourth of the way there or a little further than that. Hard to tell," Ein says.
"We haven't even reached the halfway point yet!" Rev exclaims.
"No, I don't believe so," Ein responds.
"It's fine. It just gives us more time to learn. I'll start telling you a commandment every couple of days. Today's commandment is one you might have broken. My follower shall not take what they can get though prayer. Simpling said it means don't steal because the anything you need the twin gods can provide."Ein tells Rev.
"I havn't stolen a thing," Rev says confidently.
"That's good Rev, but remember if you do ever break one of the commandment be sure to pray for forgiveness and try to be better next time." Ein says.
"Do I ask forgiveness of both the twin gods?" Rev asks.
"Yes, you must ask for forgiveness from both of them. As the commandments are the rules that both followers of wisdom and strength must follow." Ein says.
"Are there rules that only the followers of strength follow?" Rev asks.
"No, not really Rev. There are rule that are more heavily focused on with either side of the faith, but all the rules are said to be followed by both sides." Ein tells Rev.
The walk continues to the sunsets. Ein and Rev pray before dinner and Rev prays after dinner, too.
"Twin gods, I pray you reveal your plan to me please," Rev prays.
Ein has heard Rev say that prayer ever sense that day. "Oh, child, i pray that your answer makes itself clear to you when the moment is right. So be the will of the twin gods." Ein prays.
-Day 39 of the jungle.
Rev is ready for their tag rematch.
"Am not going to win one this time." Rev tells Ein.
Ein laughs. " I'll take you at your word once again. I hope you do not disappoint this time." Ein says.
The games is off Ein the first to be it. Rev makes sure to stay in the jungle using the trees to weaving in and out of. He sends out his outer source wave to crash into Ein's. This tells Ein what direction Rev is in, but it stops him from pin pointing him. Rev pre cast a stone pillar ready to use when needed. Rev scans the jungle behind him. Ein is no wear to be seen. "Maybe I can make it to base camp from here." Rev thinks. He turns towards and starts booking it there. Rev makes sure to look around as he goes back and sends out long range source waves. Rev stops in his tracks. He has spotted Ein. He is waiting at the base camp. Rev tries to boost himself at his base camp fast enough where Ein couldn't react, but it is hopeless. Ein instantly reacts two Revs present and catches Rev mid blast.
"Hey! Let me go... that's no fair you were waiting for me." Rev complains.
Ein laughs. "If you knew I was here, why did you lunch yourself right at me?" Ein asks.
"I though if i boost myself fast enough you wouldn't have enough time to react." Rev says.
"Rev, if you want to Sneek into a place, you don't do it in such a loud way. You must of notices i wasn't sending out source waves. That's because i didn't want you to know I was here. Those eyes of your give you an advance in that sense. You would have had a better chance if you just silently walked into camp." Ein explains.
"But..." Rev sign "I guess you're right" He pouts.
Rev and Ein continue their training. Ein once again is the winner of all 4 rounds of tag. They then train source control where Rev doesn't hold back a thing.
"Am going to get you..." Rev whispers as he tries to pull against Eins pull.
Ein laugh " I have no doubt in a by the end of this journey you could make me work up a sweat, but for now.... I am the victor," Ein declares.
Ein full forces pull Rev manages to retreat from most of his source. Ein had never pulled that hard before. It lit a fire in Rev.
"Again! Again!" Rev says.
"As you wish child, but don't complain when you lose," Ein says.
It was an especially hard training day. Rev and Ein have started to go all out.
-Day 40 of the jungle.
Day 40 is marked by a travel day. Where Rev starts it off with another commandment.
"Hear me Rev, there is another commandment to learn. My follows will have no room for fear in their heart. You see, Rev showing fear is to put in question the plans of the twin gods." Ein tells Rev.
"So you've never been afraid, Ein?" Rev asks.
Ein laughs "Of course I have, but when fear came over me it was only a remembered of the faith in my heart. Reminding me of a different message from the twin gods, one that helped my dearly. Have no fear, for the twin gods are working in your favor. To think the creators of all that is around me are working for my favor is truly a reassuring feeling." Ein tells Rev.
Rev is silent as he thinks back on his life. "All of that was in my favor?" Rev thinks.
Ein looks over at Rev. "I can see it clearly. I know you might look back and put in question all the bad things that happened to you. But remember Rev, all those things lead you to this moment. They lead me to you and I think that's a blessing in its self. I truly believe the twin gods sent me to save you Rev. To show you that they are out there looking down on you and they have a plan that one day I hope becomes clear to you," Ein says.
Rev looks at Ein in the face. "What if I don't like their plan?"
