Slimy, everywhere, was slimy! What is this place?! Why was she even here?! She’s supposed to be a fabled hero! A person tasked to save the world! Not some maiden in distress stuck inside a cave of slimes! And that makes sense, since she’s a girl now!

And to make it worse, all the titles and skills she had were all related to her being passive to slimes! To slimes! The first enemy of most fantasy RPGs! And she’s gone and lost to them. Amazing. Just amazing. Much wow.
“Uuuuu….”
She continued to cry, hugging her knees close to try and drown her sadness. Now she regretted leaving behind her previous world! If she knew this was what she would be getting into, she would’ve never left in the first place!
Agh! This is the worst!
[Slime Queen]
A title granted to those who have been crowned as the leaders of the slimes. Slimes are naturally friendly to you. Gives access to [Slime Valley]. Any [Slime] related skills gain a slight experience boost.
[Slime Valley]

Allows you to shift into a slime girl. Consumes 20 MP and SP every minute.
Taking any physical damage will lower your current MP by 20%.
Slime form negates all physical damage, but you take 300% more magical damage.
“Hic…Hic…”
But, at least there was a plus…right? Who am I kidding, this was the worst! She’s been surrounded by so many slimes, that she gained the ability to turn into a slime girl!? What does that even mean?! *Kupyu~!*, my ass!
*Pring*
*Boink, boink*
“Uuu…hic…?”
Slowly raising her head, she viewed at the nightmare standing across her. An extremely dangerous weapon floated within its gooey body, floating and moving around the slimy body it had. Dropping the knife out from itself, it jumped once and left her alone. She stared at the knife for a moment, before she looked back down and continued to cry her tears out.
Even her weapons were being given, by slimes!
“Uuuu…”
………
After choking her tears out for about an hour or so, she finally stood up and picked up the knife that one slime had left for her. The silver edge it had was still refined, gleaming despite the dim lighting within this small cave opening. She slowly pressed her feminine fingers upon its clean blade.
Gripping the knife tightly, she turned towards the cave walls, and swung!
“AAA!! F*ck this sh*t!!! Why did I even end up here! I’m a girl! A GIRL!! Why did I decide to leave my home?! My stupid ass brain decided to do this stupid sh*t?! AGH!!!”
And so, she continued to slash the cave wall, expressing her inner thoughts towards the world. Sparks of metal flew off as the silver edge struck against the rocky walls. The silver edge clipped bit by bit.
“Stupid virus thingy!!! Why did you have f*cking to appear?! I was having a normal day, until you had to go and mess it up!!! AAHH!! Why, why, why?! Why?! WHY?! Aaaagghh!!!”
And so, she continued to slice and strike the rocky walls, leaving behind more cuts as her slender hands swung the silver knife in a fury. Tears of regret streamed down her eyes, specks of metal flying off as she swung.
Until finally, the faithful swing came, and broke the silver blade off its hilt. The silver blade danced in the air, and landed behind her, the sound of chattering metal echoed against the cave walls.
But she felt more at ease, having let out her emotions for once. She didn’t have that much freedom to do that back at home, so this was a nice change.
But more than that! The first actually useful skill popped up!

At the least, each of these descriptions gave her enough to go on. It was just like what she would expect from a video game. These stats, skills, magic, titles, they were all ripped straight from those JRPG games. A sense of nostalgia filled her as she recalled one she used to play back as a kid.
And also-
*Boink!*
*Pring*
A shiver crept up her spine as a familiar noise entered the cave. Slowly, she cocked her head over to her right, staring in despair at the nightmarish green blob before her, presenting her the fruits of its labour.
“T-T-Thanks…?”
*Boink!*
Hearing her awkward words of gratitude, the slime grew satisfied and left the cave, leaving her, once again, to her own lonesome. Luckily, the slime didn’t jump to her face or something! The slimy feeling they gave sent shivers down her feminine back.
But, nevertheless, they did bring her another silver knife to use. Actually, why were these slimes being so kind to her? Did they see her as some queen or something?...Oh god, no. Nonono. That’s just a theory! Not a fact! Haha…haha…ha…
Either ways, there was something she wanted to test out. Remember that [Slime Valley] skill? Yeah, the one with the *Kupyu~!* thing? Yeah, how does that work actually? She genuinely wanted to know, for science. Nothing else. Just, science.
“Uh…D-Do I just-, W-Woah!”
Just as she was beginning to question her sanity for trying this out, her body suddenly felt weak. Her skin turned green, as her whole body morphed and changed into that of a slime girl. Her body had become see-through.
“K-Kya! D-Don’t fall off!”
But to her dismay, the clothes she was wearing, which were already loose in the first place, fell through her slimy body and dropped onto the floor, covered in a layer of green goo. She looked down, eyeing her naked form, which-
“O-Oh god, s-stop it!”
She shook her head from these odd thoughts and slapped her cheeks, not realising that the knife was still in her hand. As a result, the knife was sent through her head, and came out from the other side. It danced in the air and dropped onto the cold stone floor.
“H-Huh? I-I really d-didn’t take any damage…?”
Oddly, there was no damage, nor was there any feeling of pain. Heck, that didn’t even give her any feelings! That just felt…slimy.
“A-Ah…”
Not being able to handle the mental stress, she reverted back to her human form, now naked and exposed to the cold air of night.
“A-Achoo!”
Quickly, she picked up her clothes and put them back on. They were slimy, but they’ll do! Anything to stave off the cold! Lying on the floor, she stared at the knife as she slowly fell asleep.
…………………………….
*Boink, boink!*
“uuu…?”
Rubbing her eyes, she slowly got up and yawned. This had been the first time she actually slept somewhere else besides her bed room. The foreign feeling of the cold stone reminded her of just how far she had left her old world. Her eyes grew teary as she recalled the warm feeling of her gaming room.
*Boink, boink!*
“Ngh…?”
Looking to her side, she spotted a pair of green slimes, each offering her an apple. “T-Thanks…” She carefully looked at the apples, eyeing them just in case for any poison. In the end, she gave up on herself and ate them, not caring if she would die from this.
*Nom, nom, nom*
*…Gulp*
“…I…I’m alive…”
She looked down at herself, and saw herself, still alive and kicking. She was slightly disappointed in the lack of poison, but her trust for these cute slimes grew a bit…Wait, did she just call them cute?
“O-Oh god…”
I-Is she growing intimate with these green blobs? Well, they are loyal, they give her food, knives to practice, a nice home, and…Nononono…W-Why is she starting to think like this?! They are slimes damnit!
…And she’s a slime girl.
“Uuuu…”
And that burst the bubble, as she finally broke down and cried once more. The slimes looked at each other before slowly heading back out, letting their Queen rest until she’s finally ready to head out.
In truth, these slimes were not hostile, not at all, but human travellers, or monsters always preyed on these poor creatures, even though they had no will to hurt them. And the fact that they had no brain, made them incapable of holding a grudge towards them.
And that’s the sob story of the slimes.
Back at the radio.
Diana continued to cry her eyes out, hugging her knees close to give her some slight comfort. The knife from yesterday silently rested beside her, simply waiting for the time she would wield it.
And that was how it was supposed to go for another 2 hours, but someone clearly did not enjoy her crying constantly inside this cave of hers.
“Gugha…”
“U-Uuu?”
Raising her head, she saw a small green-skinned child, growling at her by the cave entrance. A sharp silver knife was held in its right hand, gleaming under the rays of the sun. Saliva dripped from its mouth, eagerly waiting for the prey to come out.
“G-Goblin…?”
Honestly, after her defeat with the slime back then, her confidence in this ‘Fantasy Hero’ stuff had dropped drastically. If a simple slime was able to overwhelm her, how about a goblin, or an undead mage, or a dragon? Wouldn’t she just get thrown around like a ragdoll and die in a corner?
“Gugha!”
But the goblin didn’t have any remorse, nor did it care for her sob story. It wanted food, and it wanted it NOW. Knife in hand, it rushed into the cave!
“A-Ah!”
From her lingering gamer instincts, she picked up the knife beside her and jumped aside. The goblin turned and looked at her, its eyes gleaming just like its blade under the sun’s light. A shiver ran down her spine as she too held the knife in her hand.
“Gugha!”
“Take this!”
They both charged at each other, swinging their knives at full force. The silver edges clashed against each other, the sound echoing through the cave. But, this was not how the exchange will continue!
“Gugha!”
*Pang!*
“A-Ah?!”
Twisting its hold slightly, the goblin ducked and knocked her arm up, leaving her chest wide open to its attacks. Grinning widely, the goblin jumped in for the chance. “N-No…!” By instinct, her [Slime Valley] activated, and her body turned to slime in an instant. The goblin simply fazed through her intangible body, cloaked in a small coat of green slime.
“G-Gugha?”
“It’s my turn! Take this!”
Turning around, she held her knife in the air, and brought it down towards the goblin’s head. The knife plunged straight in, a burst of blood came from the head wound she caused. Slowly, the goblin grew limp and fell onto the floor.
Staring into empty space, the first battle, technically second, had ended with a victory!
