Falco was outside. Taking a walk as he glanced for the details of gangs he would meet. Finding himself at some sort of red carpet affair at the theater.
“We’re here at the Hazenkor’s Annual Platinum Globe Awards!” The reporters and journalists, cameras everywhere. Falco glanced at his phone, details about how he needed to be in the awards building in case of trouble. The bodyguards and police who saw him, they just let Falco pass through, wearing the longcoat over his shoulders. Hiding the tattoos but for now.
“The Berserk Enforcer?” A worker of the theater asked where Falco raised an eyebrow. That was when the system corrected him.
You are the Rampaging Enforcer.
Stervy is the Dancing Enforcer.
Aquila is the Twinhead Enforcer
Dolores is the Fatale Enforcer.
“The Gambit King has told us to expect you, you will find your seat inside on the second floor. Along with some dishes.”
“Thanks.” Heading to the second floor where there was a special room for him. The meal was delicious. Whoever that made it was a virtuoso, a melody of flavors that had all of his senses reacting beautifully. The award show continued and it just reminded Falco of the Two Birds Causality.
Finishing his meals early, Falco was too busy watching the cameras that were showing everything. Things should be peaceful but sometimes people who want to make a statement to the Gambit King would have attacks in public to show that his power had weakened.
A radio went off. Which means there's trouble. Why can't it just be a calm day?
“We got trouble!” Hearing a few gunshots as he heard an explosion from the building, then seeing multiple gunmen charge in. The cameras were still rolling, and they were making threats. Demanding everyone to get down on the ground.
“This is all because the Gambit King! He’s just nothing but a criminal but here you are listening to him like a bunch of dogs! Hey Gambit King! Fuck you!” One of the gunmen shouted on camera. They heard screaming from the entrance, then seeing the bodies of their allies being thrown out of it. One crashed into the one who shouted earlier, noticing the head was missing.
Screaming as they see Falco stepping out with bloodied fists. Putting his coat on a lady to his right who was with her family. A known family of actors but Falco's eyes were on the gunmen.
“Who… Who the hell are you?” Falco didn’t answer as the gunmen took aim.
“KILL HIM!” Firing their shots as Falco dashed forward, his fists ready. A jab to the chest, where they see a gunman fall limp. One had the barrel pointed close to his face, Falco slapped the rifle out of the gunman’s hand and a punch to the face. Turning the head into mush, blowing it apart.
He wasn’t all about fancy footwork. Just practical movement. Moving forward as bullets grazed his body, a few entered but he was used to the pain. Rushing onward to the hail of bullets, his fists were primed and ready to go. A singular jab as they see a gunman's head explode. A kick to push a group of five back. Then grabbing a downed gunman by the leg and using him to smash the others. Just swinging the gunman like he was a sack of bricks. When he was done, Falco turned to the other gunmen who dropped their guns.
"We surrender! We surrender!" Falco scratched the back of his head as he lit a cigar, then turning to Glenn who had came with the other Book Keepers.
"I will handle this part Enforcer. It seems people think that my big brother's absence means I am weak." As Glenn pulled out a pistol and shot the gunmen. Straight in the dome, as the gunmen fell. Taking out the magazine and racking the slide to clear the chamber. Placing it by the Book Keeper's hand.
"We'll handle the cleaning. People forgot that I learned how to fight because of my Big Brother. I'm sorry, Enforcer."
"You're the boss. You decide how you want to handle this. Shame about the award show though."
"I'll have them compensated properly. It seems the bodyguard detail was not prepared against ruffians. I'll handle the rest on my own. Feel free to head out."
"Wait!" the lady from before called out.
"What about your coat?"
"There's an address in the right pocket. You can send it there. Sorry about your award show." Falco said those words as he left. Leaving Glenn to handle the rest with a few numbers being sent his way. Some information on a group of vigilantes that were operating in the area. With the situation being this rowdy, he decided to go to a club. Hopping in for a drink by the stool for the singles. The loud music filling up the atmosphere. People dancing their hearts out as the DJ played whatever that had a hypnotic bass and quick snares to catch the ear. Melodies that swayed the bodies.
Falco was just sipping on his drink. Whiskey on the rocks. A good sip as he thought about the difference. It felt like he was the Executioner Arbiter but at least he had his faculties. Rather than being a controlled beast with a leash. Sipping the drink. The stiffness kept him awake. He caught the eyes of a few women in the club, one got close. Brushing her hand across his waist but Falco just finished his drink.
Another one asked him for a drink, Falco just said he was leaving. He needed to focus, it wasn't time to think of things like this. Glancing at his phone, where he found a name that Glenn gave. The vigilantes that operated in his territory. They called themselves the Outriders. He'd pay them a visit another day. Tonight? He was going to take a break. Going in for a quick shower.
Taking a seat on a chair as he thought about someone. A past. Falco's late lover. Laura. Even in the shower, he could feel her. Despite the whole affair with Mcneil was sorted. It didn't change anything. Raven did tell Falco that no matter what he does, it's not going to change things. but if he wanted payback. He better make it count. Falco went to bed. Slowly drifting to sleep.
A nostalgic dream. One of Falco and Laura. A sweet memory but the sharpness of the sting from the realization that Laura's gone. Now that was painful. Beyond words could count. Opening his eyes as he wiped the tears off his face. A glance at the mirror where he saw his teenage self rather than the man. It was a strong meaning. That he had grown physically but in terms of his mental maturity. It was like he's a child.
There was truth to that image. He was a child in a way. He had not grown up in that sense. Rather quite a bit of his youth had been taken over by whatever McNeil had done to him. He felt a little troubled by that thought but whatever it was. He was going to handle this, his own way. The Outriders had made their home in the slums of Falco's territory. So that was the first place he was going to. Making his way there with just his tank top, a muscle car that was given to him by Glenn. Something that signified his affiliation and the rank of Enforcer. A white coat that had the pin of the Enforcer. Going out for a drive was a great idea.
Windows down and a cigarette to his lip, though it did feel a bit out of character for Falco to be smoking. Though as he was driving, some idiot decided to cut into his lane without using their blinkers. Falco gently pressed the horn to get the car to back off.
"FUck you! You don't know how to drive!" Falco just ashed the cigarette to the side.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" The man pulled out a gun, firing a shot at Falco. Rather than being disturbed, Falco just continued his smoke. Stepping out of his car, then punching his fist through the driver side window. Not beating the man down but just grabbing a pistol. Yanking it out of the man's hand.
"Just cause you're pissed doesn't mean you get to wave a gun around, moron." Falco said as he kicked the door which caused the car to shake.
"Do that again on my turf, and I'll throw you out of a building."
"Y-Yes, sir." Falco got into his car and drove off. It was annoying when idiots like that have guns, but it was an illegal firearm though. A filed off serial number is usually a sign that the gun is illegal. Either stolen or sold off by corrupt cops. Or the funnier version, it gets passed around. Use a gun for a hit, then file off the serial number. Pawn it off for dirt cheap. Some idiot buys it. uses it for self defense or a crime, then the one who uses it gets caught in trouble because of the fact the gun is illegal.
It was a unique tactic among the criminals in this world. And from memory, it seems Falco was once a detective so that added a bit of details into his background. Being able to expose large groups of criminals. Though his signature weapon? It was a revolver loaded with shotgun shells rather than bullets. An odd choice but that was just how the Falco of this world navigated prior to the Hunter Falco taking over.
"System. What happens if I'm done with this Causality?"
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Then Shady Enforcer upholds the law with his siblings...
Your skills as a police officer and newer skills as the Rampaging Enforcer will be unlocked as time passes by.
What's important is that for you to understand that by diving deep into these Causalities.
You not only gain the powers, but also may improve yourselves.
Unlike Raven's locked system which is the Personas.
You unlock it faster and it can be used as a means to fight in your true world.
Similar to how the Two Birds increased your skills with firearms.
This one grants you more defensive skills and increases your fist fighting potentials.
Causalities are numerous and to meet with your parents. You will need all of the skills you can get.
You may also end up finding romance just like Raven.
Though do not be in a rush when you do.
Your memories with them will be unlocked as to put it bluntly.
The Ashenworth family has the same powers as Raven.
You imprint your personalities into the Causalities.
Your equal within the Causality will follow suit.
Your allies that come from the Causality are one and the same as the ones here.
Even if you summon them, there is no effect to their original Causality.
"But what makes Raven so special?"
This trial is the Trial of the War God.
It is how the War God is shaped.
Raven getting more Causalities and Personas increases them.
One Causality that he will go through is a school life as a teenager but his allies from the criminal lives will be joining him in that one.
The reason being that Causality allows Raven to unlock the true potentials of all of his Personas.
Raven is the War God. He is beyond Sovereign level in its own right and demi gods are careful.
Though there are many others that wish to try and attack earth.
If you wonder why he's desperate.
He wants to protect the world in his own way.
But these Causalities have opened up because of Raven's friendships and his allies.
His allies come from many places.
When he finds them, he will awaken them.
Raven has plenty of Causalities that he had not sorted.
Causalities that left deep wounds in his souls.
From pyrrhic victories to endless defeats. Many times, he may have triumphed but it was not necessarily a good thing.
This is a means for him to improve his skills so he may face those Causalities.
He has left many friends and foes behind, but nothing will change the wound on his soul.
"I hope he'll find his peace. Will we ever know your name?"
I am...
A Servant of the War God.
A human who had once fallen into despair and the War God who has avenged me.
Though he is still scary.
Perhaps one day, he will remember me.
Falco chuckled as he drove the car into the slums of his territory. Run down buildings, graffiti and murals all around. Though what he did see was the graffiti of Raven as the Shady Enforcer being present. Seems like Raven has a lot on his mind. But not that Falco or the others would know. Diving into these sort of worlds is chaotic and even for Raven, it must've broken him somehow. Either way, the murals of Raven as the Shady Enforcer were beautiful. The people here viewed him as a hero. Though as Falco explored the area, he could feel traces of Raven being present.
"It's the Enforcer, run!" Those words echoed as he glanced at the bloodstains, Raven had smashed a gang member's head to the curb. Then seeing the old bullet casings that had been left behind. They gunned him down but he didn't seem to be bothered. Though this Persona of Raven, it felt like a silent anger. One that he didn't shout or say a word, just constantly breaking heads. Though what the system just said.
Falco had to wonder about what Causality that broke him.
"System, what Causality broke him?"
The Rogue Commander.
Similar to Valiants but on a weaker powerlevel.
That's a world that broke him because Raven had won with a pyrrhic victory.
He completed the Causality.
But every single Athena(The Female equivalent of Valiants. Similar to Valkyries but weaker).
He had lost them all.
He never saw them as anything lesser than human.
They all fell in love with him.
They loved him enough to fight through it.
He had seen everyone of them die before his eyes.
He made the final push.
He destroyed them but at a cost.
Losing the Athenas whom he cherished.
That Causality is bound for a reset and when he does. He will be calling his allies from Scorpio to help him.
And he will not be a Commander who watches his soldiers die.
This time, he may return in another form.
Perhaps his other Causalities.
"He's too good natured sometimes isn't he?"
Shady Enforcer was the Causality after that one.
His full rage and temper had been brought in its rawest form.
He was brutal.
Though many Causalities broke him but the Rogue Commander is one that struck him the most.
Falco walked through the slums, people were being kind to each other. He expected them to hate each other and live in a dog eat dog world. A lovely peace, yet the moment gunfire cracked. Falco made haste. Running to see the Outriders who were up against men in suits. They were wearing hoodies with scarves over their faces.
"This place is going to be under the Modello Family soon, so make sure you don't do anything st-" That sentence ended with someone's head exploding. Falco slammed a man into the wall then punched the chest where they heard the bones crack.
"What the!? Who's h-" Falco took a note from Raven's page, slamming the man's head to the nearby sidemirror of a car, breaking it off as the man groaned in pain.
"Who the fuck are you?"
"The Rampaging Enforcer. The Shady Enforcer's older brother. Just because my kid brother's not here, doesn't mean you dipshits can just run around pissing all over the place." Falco stomped on the man's leg, causing him to groan in agony as he turned to the Outriders.
"You guys alright?"
"Y-yeah... Thanks. So you're..."
"Yeah, I'm the new Enforcer. Had to pick up the slack since my kid brother left out of nowhere. I don't do any sort of crime or any that shit. I just destroy gangs."
"Can you come with us? Our master would like to meet the Shady Enforcer but if you're his brother, then maybe you can convince him!"
"Lead the way." The Outriders led Falco to an old dojo, where they opened the door. Showing the many other Outriders who were training. Bo staves, swords, baseball bats, lead pipes and the like. They were a mix and match, a rag tag crew of people. They were being led by an old man who observed them.
"Who might you be?"
"The Rampaging Enforcer. Shady Enforcer's older brother. You're in the territory I manage. I came to say hello."
"Not going to force your will upon us?"
"No. And seeing the murals and graffiti of my kid brother. I don't think I have to. You want to keep this place safe right?"
"Yes, it's our home. Even if people abandon it. We would fight to the end." The old man spoke.
"Then do what you have to. Since those guys decided to piss on a place that took care of my younger brother. I should go and repay the favor."
"Before you go. Care to face this old man in a bout?"
"Sure."
"My name is Xiao."
"Falco Ashenworth."
"Let us begin." In an instant the old man had gotten close, Falco crossed his arms to take the hit. A single jab and he was pushed back 5 steps. That's a lot of power in those moves but he can't get distracted. The old man came close once again, Falco couldn't find an opening. Speed and power all in one. Condensed in a singular jab. Pushing the fist away as he went for a shoulder charge, only for Xiao to roll over him and strike the neck. A knife hand strike, Falco was going to feel that one in the morning.
Falco had strength and defense but the old man before him? Xiao was a seasoned veteran. If he was a Hunter in their world, he'd be S Class with just those moves alone. Going in for a strike, Falco could watch how Xiao diverted his jabs to the side with minimal effort. Then a strike to the shoulders, it struck his nerves so his body felt numb.
"It seems you can handle the punishment. Your body size makes it difficult for you to fight against nimble enemies like myself. Though I can tell if I take a singular hit from you, it'd be the end for me. Would you care to take lessons from me?"
"I could use it, old man. If we continued, I'd lose. Because I'm not able to face against an enemy that can move quick and hit me at the right spots. I can handle the hits but how long would it take before I lose? That's my answer."
"My technique is an old martial arts known as Rending Crane. Fast strikes with nimble movement. Soft and graceful like a Crane but strikes hard doesn't it?"
"Yeah. I could use something like that."
"There is a martial arts that would suit you better. The Falcon's Fangs. It's similar to Rending Crane but more suitable for you who can exert power with your build. What do you say?"
"I'll learn it."
New Skills and Crew!
Falcon's Fangs High speed movement, mixing palm strikes, knife hand strikes and claw attacks. Increases your ability to divert enemy attacks and uses their own motion against them. The faster the enemy, the higher the damage output Xiao of the Outriders The master of the Rending Crane and teaches the Outriders how to fight.
Rending Crane : Can be taught to members when recruited. When brought to your world, he will be able to teach martial arts and learn aura. Outriders The slum dwellers who choose to fight for their own safety.
The Outrider's Path : Fighting with guerilla style hit and runs, opportunistic.
They will compliment your assault style as well as members of Morning Star.
Increased enemy weakness and bone structure analysis. Striking bones of enemies will inflict weakness to their combat.
Xiao and the Outriders will join you after you face with Modello.
Xiao brought a book where Falco read through it. Details of what was necessary for him in a fight. The philosphy of Falcon's Fangs were simple, strike fast and strike hard. Fast enemies can be stopped with the open palm strikes or grapples with the claw like movement. Throwing them down and a singular jab to the face. Many ways to handle a flow as a chart detailed the attacks and effects on the target. Striking the neck will cause them to be in a daze with an open palm, going at it with the claws will sharpen his fingernails to leave cuts on them.
"Interesting. I'll need to practice this."
"Feel free to do so, Enforcer."
"I'll do it with the Modello family. In the meantime, I'll come back after it's done. Do you want their heads on a pike or me just dragging their bodies here?"
"Their heads should be claimed. So they know that the Rampaging Enforcer means business." Xiao spoke with a grin, something that unnerved his students as well.
"I like your way of thinking, Xiao. Anyway, be right back." Falco headed out to do what was promised. To handle the situation.
