Meeting Vinter in his church, where he was greeted with a cigar and as usual. Tea and desserts. Today's tea is milk tea with tapioca pearls.
"Bubble tea? That's interesting."
"I do have a craving for sweet stuff. So let's talk business shall we?" Raven took his seat in front of Vinter as he took a sip from the bubble tea. Sucking in the tapioca pearls that were chewy.
"How is it?"
"A bit too sweet for my taste. Not one for sweet, I prefer savoury. The benefit of your world being reset means I can try different meals as my servants head over to learn. But back to business. Do you remember your life as the Grand Master of Soul Blades?”
“The one I didn’t exactly complete it because you told me it was an endless cycle. I was there for nearly every Soul Blade War.” Raven groaned at remembering that one. It was one of the ones that pissed him off because of how weird the conditions were. It would change during the Soul Blade War and Vinter felt it was pointless to keep going with that world.
“That’s because the gods who oversee that world were not satisfied with the result. Now they’ve gone an initiated the 1300th Soul Blade War. They decided to cage one of my servants and they seem intent on wanting the Soul Blade Wielders to suffer. They assembled their armies. Wanting to destroy whoever wins before they destroy that world completely.” Raven continued sipping his bubble tea.
“Am I going in as the Grand Master or as the War God?” Vinter offered Raven a pair of blades, design wise they were sabers with a razor sharp single edge along with the gray hooded coat.
“As the War God. When it’s done, I’ll keep that world safe. Good luck, Raven.” Raven got off the chair as a door opened to his right, grabbing the blades and putting the coat on. Finding himself in a barren land, dust carried by the wind. Remnants of Soul Blades were left behind. It was their tomb. The tomb of blades, the remnants of the years of war in this barren land. He continued onward to find the remains of the once beautiful city. A large lake in the center, well it was once there. All dried up as the weathered buildings that were once of pure white was now reduced to a farcry of its glory. The sight of the Soul Blade Wielders of both Dark and Light, wearing their hooded coats. Wielding their blades.
“The tales of the Soul Blade War! Tells us the story of the Wielders of Light and the Wielders of Dark! Today! We shall conclude this war with our battle! With 13 Wielders of Dark and 11 of the Light.” The voice echoed from the distance as Raven waltzed his way into view. The Wielders of Dark and the Wielders of Light readied themselves for a fight. Charging straight into view. Only for Raven to stroll over to the middle of the lake. A snap of his fingers that made a barrier to force the groups back.
“Hm… Who are you?” Raven glanced at the bald old man wielding a Soul Blade with his 12 Wielders of Dark by his side.
“Quintus.” Raven greeted, then turning to another man from the Wielders of Light who contrasted Quintus, had a full mane and shaven face.
“Orion.”
“How do you know our names? Why are you here?! This is the tomb of the Soul Blade Warriors who have perished! Only those who wield it can enter!” Quintus bellowed where they see Raven drawing out his pair of Soul Blades.
“Yeah. I came here to stop the war.” Two swings that created a massive barrier between the two groups. Lowering his hood as Orion and Quintus immediately knelt before him.
"Grand Master!" Orion and Quintus greeted as he lowered the barriers, making the two old men walk over. Orion brought a coat while Quintus brought forth a pair of sabers. Putting the coat on as they see golden embroidery appear. Forming marks over the sleeves with Raven lighting a cigar as he grabbed the pair of sabers.
"Hey, best you come out from your hiding spot. You meddlesome gods." The gods revealed themselves, standing before them with their armies. Rivaling that of a million or more.
"How dare you, meddler... You should've just stayed still rather than appear before u-" A saber pierced a god's head, with Raven gesturing his hands for a pull as he grabbed the god by the head.
"How could this b-" A black flame erupted from his hands swallowing the god whole as he stabbed the earth with his blades.
"The Gods just want us to keep repeating this cycle until they're satisfied. I just need to put them down. Oh one more thing. I came here as the War God not as Grand Master of Soul Blade. To the ones who fell before this place. Our home. Our very lives manipulated by these gods. Don't you want to fight once again? Don't you want to stand against this army? As Soul Blade Wielders it has been our duty to travel the worlds within our own to protect it. To ensure the souls of the worlds be born anew and pure. Not from darkness. Not from light but from manipulation so the inhabitants will live their worlds earnestly. Wasn't that what we fought for?!" Those words alone had forced the Soul Blades to vibrate, shaking the ground as they were pulled out by figures clad in black and white hooded coats.
Raven turned to the Grand Masters, the few who have the golden embroidery on their hoods.
"Raven... You've returned." The old man spoke with his longsword Soul Blade in hand, eyes that longed to see Raven.
"I tried, master but no matter what I did. I couldn't satisfy the gods condition. Only way to fix all of this. To return our home of Yuelia is by striking down the gods and a reset. Then it'll be up to all of you to decide what you wish to do. I'd ask for your help but what I'd be asking is for all of you to kill people." Raven said as he shouldered his old pair of Soul Blades.
"Why would you go so far for us?"
"Maybe because I consider you all friends and rivals. Even family. Grand Master Evictus and Grand Master Lorantius. I consider you two like my parents in a way." The two elder Grand Masters chuckled with Lorantius being the Grand Master of Light, contrasting Evictus who was the Grand Master of Dark. The armies began their march over to their position but Raven merely let out a sigh. A singular sigh that caused the armies before him. Blown away by the sheer wind, whereby the gods felt that sudden chill. Another army much smaller came to their place.
"Grand Masters of light and dark to the front. Masters behind us. Disciples at the rear." His orders were followed as the Grand Masters stood by his side, with Raven's Soul Blade extending into a pair of whips. Lashing the armies of the gods within mere seconds, erasing their existence.
"You gods forgot one thing. Soul Blades manifest in many ways and in many forms. But its true purpose is to free the souls that have been kept hidden. Soul Blade Wielders, what is our duty!?"
"To free the souls from the monsters that have stolen them!"
"Then let us perform our duty. Glory to Yuelia! Glory to my brethren!" Raven's warcry had began to surge powers within all of the Soul Blade Wielders. Their weapons began to howl as they took a step against the army that would never end. Their Soul Blades began to transform into the tools needed as they leaped into the fray. Rushing in like beasts starved for the kill, wrath at every motion. Anger and hatred seething in their veins as the memories of Yuelia's glory lingered. The lingering memories quelled the rage, turning the hateful swings into attacks that were for a cause.

Wielders of a cause that has been forgotten, the reason of Yuelia's founding had began to slowly arise from within their hearts. Watching how a single disciple crushed a being of light with her blade turning into a mace. Crushing as tears fell from her eyes. Each tear from the wielders touched the barren land, slowly waking it from the sleep. Their might against the foes was enough for Raven to handle the gods. With his own Soul Blade turning into a pair of lances, bulldozing through whatever ahead as he got into the reach of the gods. They casted their magic and created barriers to stop him. Using the elements to bind Raven's movement.
Would it be enough? If it was the regular Raven, then yes. But against the War God? That was not enough. Their barriers failed them as Raven pierced through it. With his soul blades turning into baseball bats. Swinging them into the air. Sending all of them flying. Piercing through the clouds, parting the sky itself. The creatures turned to Raven who still had a cigar lit on his lip.
"Soul Blade Wielders. This fight is yours. Hold them off or exterminate them. I'll be back in a few... I think I hit them off planet. So go wild here. Don't worry about the damage. I'll handle that after I turn those idiots into corpses." Raven's feet glowed as he sprang out of the atmosphere. A giant gaping hole appeared on the ground as a result of Raven's actions. Recoil that was immense that caused the ground to slowly crumble beneath the creatures. The Soul Blade Wielders proceeded with their onslaught. Their attacks becoming fiercer by the minute. Guided by the words of the War God, they moved in. Overwhelmed but refusing to give up. Whatever means to survive, turning their Soul Blades into firearms. Blasting away shots of mana to tear through the hordes.
"Will Grand Master Raven be okay?" A Disciple inquired.
"Do not stop to worry for the Grand Master! He is far more powerful than all of us combine! We must prove our strength against our foes!" Grand Master Evictus shouted as his Soul Blade turned into a glaive, one that he used to hack away the chunks of larger creatures.
Meanwhile, Raven was up in space.
"How?! How can you breathe?! This is beyond human's reach!"
"That's the whole point moron. If I fought you there. Do you think I can go all out? Not that I have to."
"Then what if we do this?" Raven glanced all around him, seeing planet-sized meteors that surrounding the entire solar system.
"Hah! You can't stop us now?! How can you fight and protect all of the worlds?!" This is as typical as Gods can get. It's no wonder these guys were idiots. They only lash out threats but bother to take worlds hostage. But really though?
"Really? I mean this is the best you all have?" Raven drew out a sword. Where they see the meteors vanish, the gods glanced all around trying to figure out what happened.
"I don't have time for this." He appeared to a god's side, then piercing his hand into the god's chest, pulling out a nun of Vinter. One of his servants. Placing a return stone on her chest as she was teleported elsewhere. A snap of his fingers as weapons flowed out of Raven's palm. A tsunami of blades that began to fill up the entire universe with it. No, entire galaxies.
"I killed one by accident but the rest of you. I need to make sure you bleed. Vinter told me to handle it my way. Now I think the weapons I gathered thanks to being the War God upon his authority... Means that the weapons I gathered in my current and past life are now ready. So 7 galaxies of weapons. Enjoy." A snap of his fingers as the weapons went to work with Raven bringing out another cup of bubble tea that Vinter had prepared. The gods were screaming while Raven was just hovering in place.
"Not too sweet. Vinter knows me too well." Chewing on the tapioca pearls along with some mango and apple jellies. This was still being nice, if it were up to Raven. He'd just grind them until they were nothing but corpses. This much? It was still merciful. He'll let Vinter handle the rest of these idiots. Vinter stepped out with a sandwich on a plate.
"Oh, can you handle the rest then?"
"Of course. Though I did come here to watch them squirm. You'd think for Gods they would be a bit more... Powerful?"
"Only God I don't dare to attack is you Vinter. The last time I practiced with you before the Sovereigns? I think you piled up a few million corpses of me and different Personas. I do plan to challenge you again."
"If we faced each other now, Raven. I believe we are equal." Raven took a bite out of the sandwich as the gods tried their best to defend. But every square inch was taking attacks. Perhaps best to say right down to the microorganisms that made up the bodies of the gods. No escape while Raven and Vinter were just enjoying their meal.
"So this sandwich.. Smoked duck?"
"With some hot sauce. It seems I found my weakness being hot sauce. How do humans eat those without worry?"
"Training. But some people just like spice. I'm not one for that. But this is just right. Doesn't make the smoked duck lose its flavor." The two of them continued eating as the weapons slowly stopped. The gods were unable to move. Vinter and Raven had finished their meal as Vinter threw a cube at Raven.
"That's the reset. I'll be out of here, so you can press it. My servants will govern this world."
Arriving to see the Soul Blade Wielders victorious. Raven landed on his feet, seeing their coats stained with blood from their wounds yet they didn't falter. A sure sign, that they could handle it.
"Tough fight, master." Orion spoke as he fell on his back, staring into the sky that had been parted.
"Right. Time for me to get something sorted." Raven grabbed the key, tapping the buttons on the cube. Where a bright light had shined upon the world. One that had became a pillar of a light. Shining the entire world. The warmth of the light, casting a gigantic shadow over the world. A few seconds later, the light faded away as the shadow followed suit. Glancing to the all white metropolis with its blocky buildings. They see civilians moving about. The lake that had once dried up, now had returned to its former glory. The Yuelian guards walking about.
"Our home... Grand Master is it..."
"I reset everything. Now it's up to all of you to decide what you want to do from here on out. I'll ask for your help later. Now the reset also includes a lot of our old nemeses. Also you've all been grown younger but power still the same. Same goes for your partners and children. Take care."
"Wait, Grand Master Raven! Please let us help you!"
"Not until you sort out our nemeses. Now remember dark and light are no longer separate. Both need each other. I'm heading off first." Raven bid them farewell as he vanished.
Finding himself in his room within Pridelands. Reading into his newly acquired persona.

With that it was done, Raven could let his mind rest at ease. The 100 summon pull he got was going to be useful. If he could get more allies, it would benefit him in the long run. A 100 Summon Pull was a good answer. That and having the Grand Master of Soul Blades Persona has opened up more to his combat style. What should he do now? Perhaps he'll go to a bar or something. Maybe somewhere to celebrate on his own.
Though as Raven opened the door, Yennifer was present before him.
"Can I come in?"
"Sure." There goes his plans.
