Berk. That was the name of the town. What was left? Corpses of the Sloane and Jasnoca soldiers. The sight of the four Section Chiefs who were now spurred by the situation about Ivona being attacked out of nowhere. Anger in their veins. That was all the boost they needed. A sense of urgency to hunt every single soldier down.
"What's going on!? Who are th-" A commanding officer's head flew into the air, fountains of red spewed out to Aquila's armor. Driving a spear into the throat of a soldier. Guns fired at him but he just continued with his rampage. For Ivona. For her. That was all that mattered to Aquila. His daughter had been harmed once again when he was living here. They were all in a rush. Tanks? Torn apart by Falco's very hands, he ripped off the plating and bludgeoned the soldiers inside. Limb to limb.
Stervy went after the necks, leaving deep gashes into them. Soldiers fired their guns, rocket launchers and grenades. The dust that kicked up concealed his movements. Seizing the opportunity as he continued to lacerate necks, a snap of his fingers and a spring of red gushed out. Dolores went after them with her longsword, taking hits from tank cannons. It did not hinder her as she charged straight into them, piercing the tanks with her blade. An armored vehicle with front spikes charged at her. Her blade found its way through the driver seat, slashing the side open. Throwing an incendiary grenade, cooking the soldiers inside alive.
They felt the air stir violently. A great wind had haunted them. Their eyes met with the four Chiefs. Seasoned Hunters who were more than willing to destroy whatever it was in front of them. Try as they might, but the soldiers felt the air stir. Boredom. It was as if they felt like they were meeting monsters in human skin. The brutality of Falco's fists that sent heads flying, Dolores slaying dozens of them. Stervy leaving deep gashes on their bodies, a snap of his fingers that stole the lives of those in his way. Aquila's spears finding new homes in fresh kills.
The Weapons of the Steobian Empire were sharper if not deadlier with just the four of them alone. Berk was already safe, the sight of it turning into a massacre was something that was expected. The four of them faced greater threats than this but this? It was training of sorts. A reminder of what they could do. The potential they had. Getting used to this situation. Reveling in the madness. Berk had been liberated as the citizens were being taken care off by the regular army but the four Chiefs?
No longer seen as they headed to the next location.
"Spearhead, Hammer, Morning Star, Stiletto... Where are you?"
"We're going to a next area, Durandal. Just leave the next location to us. Mildwind Fortress right?"
"It's heavily armed. I'd suggest you wait..."
"We'll be cutting off the connection for a while. Take care of my our people for us, Gryphus." Dolores spoke as the four Chiefs switched off their radios. Making their way to Mildwind Fortress, seeing the towering rampart. Helicopters patrolling the area, tanks and armored vehicles moving through. Cannons pointed at their direction.
"SIGHTED THE DOGS! KILL THEM!" Aquila leaped into the air as he readied his spears. Just throwing them into the helicopters. Piercing through to kill the pilots as they rained down upon the enemy. Falco charged on, going after the tanks in a direct confrontation. Dolores just stood still as the cannons and missiles fired at her. Readying her shield as she took steps forward.
"Wait... Wasn't there four of them!?" A soldier by the watchtower heard screams, turning to see his comrades in the tower becoming fountains of red. No sight of the one who did it, but a blade piercing through his chest, eyes meeting with Stervy. Gasping as his last moments, trying to call a name but Stervy covered his mouth.
"Pray in your heart. Your voice is annoying." Stervy kicked the body off the tower as went inside. Going in a violent assault, the interior was all his. Falco on the other hand had been tearing through the tanks with his fingers. Ripping holes into the metal as he chucked a few grenades in it. Explosions set off as Falco went after a soldier with a rocket launcher. A punch that obliterated the face. Crushing a soldier's head, then readying a shotgun. Blasting off shots with one hand as Aquila threw a few grenades in front of Falco's position. The shockwave of the explosions threw the soldiers off.
"Where is he?!" Soldiers began to panic as the smoke enveloped the area. Looking around for an answer. Trying to confirm who was where.
"Just keep firing! He-" A voice silenced. Necks were being snapped. The lone soldier tried to look for answers and a reason but a pair of hands caught him. A singular twist and it was done. Nothing was able to stop it. As the smoke cleared, a lone survivor who had his legs broken. Raised his head, seeing the four Chiefs whose eyes locked with his.
"Monsters. You're all monste-" Falco punched the survivor, leaving his body into nothing but a gaping hole of flesh. Oozing out the guts and blood. Falco, Aquila, Dolores and Stervy popped cigars. The first part of the offensive has been done. The four of them continued on, salvaging weapons and equipment from the enemies. Continuing on their war path. Only the madness remained. As their thoughts were on Ivona.
"Just wait for us... My daughter." Aquila said, dashing forward with the others. The many soldiers of Jasnoca and Sloane rallied themselves. Trying to keep their morale but before the madness of the four? It was nothing short of ants trying to face them. Tanks? Useless. Helicopters? Just flying coffins. Nothing would stop the rage of the four as they tore their very way in the bases and towns along the Jasnocan border. Even the other Chiefs couldn't believe the radio reports. Nor the visual data.
What the other Chiefs saw was madness. Gryphus who saw the data remembered something his old Chief said.
"The Durandal Chief before me? Now that guy's a real monster. A gentle heart but a monster. He once massacred a group of terrorists with a sledgehammer. He's the reason why people were so terrified of Section 1. If you ever see the sight of that again. Just know that they are enveloped in the truest form of madness." Those words were something Gryphus engraved in his heart. As the other Sections proceeded to keep up with the pace of the four, it was difficult. The way the four of them fought? It was like they were used to this sort of situation. Pure efficient and raw power. They didn't seem tired or bothered. Scavenging enemy weapons to use.
"Take a breather. You're at the halfway point. There'll be more enemies coming to your position."
"That's the point, Gryphus. The more we have on us. The easier it is for you all to keep moving. We're taking a break here. Just another three more bases and we'll be reaching the Janosca Republic's base. How are things on your end?"
"Sloane's gotten quiet. Seemed like they just stated their surrender but of course we're not accepting it." Annie reported in.
"Stiletto. Are you still looking at info?"
"Yeah. Seems like Sloane's forces are bugging out. How our members?"
"We're doing good, Chief. Got some scrapes and bruises but at least we're having fun." Matvei said as Stervy grinned, all four of them lighting cigarettes as the summaries were being given. So far the four Ashenworth's were at the front end. They were the furthest in their advance, they were the closest to the capital. The others were slowly getting closer with the regular army but it took some time.
The four of them despite taking a smoke break and eating some light jerky. The base was convenient to just take a break as they lit a fire. They didn't feel at ease. They were more stressed. They wanted this to end so they could go back but then the system highlighted something.
Detecting an anomaly...
Janosca Republic... Unknown beast has been summoned.
"Something's up... What the hell is that?" Aquila, Dolores, Stervy and Falco checked their visual sharing system by Valeri. The sight of it was a large three headed beast. It was the size of an entire town, tearing through Jasnoca as if it was nothing.
"System."
Raven's Causalities has something hidden that needs to be found.

The enemy is a Hellion Wolf.
"Gryphus. Get everyone out of the way!" Aquila, Dolores, Stervy and Falco shed off their armor, wearing their Hunter equipment. The Hellion Wolf was going after Gryphus with the other Section Chiefs, only to see it stop dead in its tracks by Falco. Seeing Falco's fist glow as he punched it back, where they watched it crash into a mountain behind.
"What are we thinking here? Buffs? Debuff it? Or we just going to lacerate it?"
"Honey. Create a barrier for Gryphus. Falco, keep punching it! Stervy go for the legs! Coat your blade with this!" Stervy pulled out his katana, pouring black liquid over it as the blade gleamed with a shine. Dolores's shield glowed as a barrier was made before their very eyes.
"I'll slow it down!"
"Spearhead. What's going on?"
"We'll explain later, Gryphus!" Aquila leaped into the air, where they see black wings appear on his back. Unleashing a massive sword aura that struck at the Hellion Wolf's body, leaving a massive wound. Applying bleeding status and weakness. It wasn't as powerful as Misha's technique but it'll have to do. Diving in to leave a few more strikes.
"Stervy!"
"Got it!" Stervy danced through as the Hellion Wolf unleashed flames from its mouth, Stervy just needed to match Aquila's intense assault Fast slashes that made the wound deeper while Falco punched the heads to the side. Dolores went in, shielding herself from the flames. Jumping to strike the heart. Implanting holy aura within that would damage it periodically.
"Now!" Stervy snapped his fingers, the fissures blew up. Injuring the Hellion Wolf further, readying a mace to bash the head inwards. The Hellion Wolf's howl shattered the barrier, its flames aimed at Gryphus and the others but Stervy parted the flames with his katana.
"Stiletto!"
"Tch. This is what is with this damn wolf?! Man this bastard's annoying! Shut up you fucking mutt!" Stervy groaned as he leaped forward, slashing a head in two, only for it to regenerate and strike again.
"It regenerates?! FUCK ME!"
"If it does, we'll just have to brute force our way through!" Falco's fists pushed the Hellion Wolf back, multiple flickering jabs that had it in a daze. The final blow was going to be delivered soon, with the four of them simultaneously attacking the heart. A last howl as the Hellion Wolf fell. Silenced by the four Ashenworths.
"Who... Who are you?"
"Mind listening to our story?" A portal opened up where monsters were coming out, but before anything could be done. Serpent blades gave chase, seeing Jizel and Jack walking over with the other members of Durandal Section 1. Raven's Durandal. The signature armor was different. Bulkier compared to Gryphus's armors.
"Seems like you got this settled."
"Jack? Why are you here?"
"Ah we heard there was trouble. Since we're officially dead in this world, we're not allowed to appear unless something's out of place. So these are the new Weapons of the Empire." Gryphus and members of Section 1 understood who they were. Just the sight of the armors alone was enough to leave him in awe.
"I'll tell them the story."
One explanation later.
"So you two are married... And you have a daughter who was attacked?" Bridgette asked first.
"So... The Chief that led you all was their younger brother... The one who fought with the Emperor and got nobles to join our ranks." Gryphus was thinking about it.
"A war. So we'll be joining you in this?" Bosco inquired as he thought about plans.
"We were thinking about that but what about the Empire?"
"Ah, it'll be fine. Don't forget the nobles who trained with us are ready. They'll lead the teams like how we do." Annie assured them.
"The reserves can take over our jobs for a while. Besides, it was their time anyway." Koko spoke with a smile. The main roster of 50 will be joining the Ashenworths while the rest will be handling the rest. The 12 Sections followed the Ashenworths out, finding themselves in a new world. Right now, they were at the Pridelands with Aquila reading the news. Seven Hells have left the country but they will come back with Latelica's forces. Either they take the fight to them or the fight comes to Euphemia.
Even then, the odds of winning? They were not in their favor but Lowell ensured that everything will be okay.
"You're quite confident, Lowell. Why is that?"
"He's the War God. That's enough for me. Besides. If you knew how many allies he had. You'd think Latelica's army is nothing but idiots."
Meanwhile... Raven.
Raven was holding the skull of the demon lord in his hands. Tapping his fingers as he sat by the throne, just glancing at the massacre. With this, the human countries around would've started to prepare themselves for a unified front against the Elven Tree. Stepping out to see Wiseman, Levi and Melgis who accompanied him this time. Seeing the piles of demon corpses strewn about. Impaled by Wiseman's harpoons. Headless corpses as Melgis collected the heads to put into his bag. Corpses torn asunder by Levi's Soul Blade.
"Was it boring?"
"No. Rather fun. Seems as if you've gotten used to your new equipment."
"I still need pointers, Wiseman. I need to master that technique of yours."
"It's all about instinct, Abyss. You have yours, I have mine. I use two crossbows, you use one, your fists and a knife. Fundamentally different." Wiseman spoke up with a grin as he shared a bottle of whiskey with Melgis.
"It was fun, friend but this cannot be it now can it?"
"If I can take you with me, Melgis. There's an even greater battle waiting. A war that will happen soon. Sounds fun for you now doesn't it?" Melgis chuckled, perhaps Raven would want to bring his friend. A barbarian who could show off the skills that a barbarian must possess. It was a different sensation fighting a barbarian. They aren't afraid to die. Reckless and would use whatever necessary to kill their opponents. Raven also picked up the biting off opponent's neck from the barbarians themselves. He'd seen Melgis bite off a griffon's head with his teeth. That hulking man was just built different than most people.
"Grand Master. I hope it was sufficient."
"No complaints here, Levi. Good work." Levi gave a nod as they made their way out of the demon capital. Just four of them made a mess of it. Walking out as the four of them seemed bored. The trail of chaos still fresh. For them, it was just another day at work. Raven got his vengeance upon the demon capital, now what was left was the Drednia Kingdom. It was a thought that Raven had, his point shop had accumulated quite a lot. Now at 50,000,000 points.

"That's a no brainer. Fairwinds." A bright light shined above, as Raven glanced at the gigantic ship flying above him. One that was powered by energies and logic from another realm.
"This is Captain Morgan of the Fair Winds. Chancellor Ashenworth. We've come to escort you." A familiar voice as helicopters flew out from the side, hovering above them, dropping a rope for them to hang on to. Holding it as they were brought aboard on the front deck. Where they see machines moving boxes, along with larger robots waiting to be deployed. The machines were roughly 15 meters tall at least and 25 meters at best. Seeing them standing by for orders with their pilots waiting outside. In terms of legs, a mixed bag of sorts. Some were using bipedal, some were quad legged, some were tank threads, some were using hover legs and some had reverse joint legs.
"We've got a full roster, Chancellor. Fair Winds is your ship that you designed. The newly made Assault Breakers are ready for action." Morgan, the captain greeted them on the deck.
"Where's my old Breaker?"
"It's sealed. Inside the core area. Just how you left it."
"That's good. Keep it there. What about the other units?"
"We've got the Exoskeleton Squads at the ready, helicopters, land transports, armored vehicles. Whatever that you will need. I'll give you the specs later."
"Set course for the tree Morgan. We'll be taking a break there."
"Orders received. We'll make our way to the tree, Chancellor." The ship slowly moved as they were brought to the cafeteria.
"Chancellor Ashenworth on deck!" Immediately the crew got on their feet, saluting Raven and his party.
"At ease. We're here to work people. Let's get to it."
"Yes, Chancellor!" Heading over to get some food as Melgis wondered what all of the words mean. Raven helped his friend out by pointing out what was meat from the section. Barbarians need a lot of food after all. The food wise, it was unusual for the three allies.
"They're just alien meat. Hunt what we kill. Fair Winds come is the mothership that I led in the past. I was the Chancellor of War in a world that had plenty of problems."
"You might've been just a Chancellor in name but you were the only politician who followed us into battle. I remember the sight of you grabbing a plasma sword and tearing the head of an Eamis. It's what we refer to a gigantic serpent that slithers in the ground. It attacks by swallowing people up or by swinging its tail." Levi, Melgis and Wiseman glanced at Raven who was just chewing his meat.
"Sounds like Abyss." Melgis bellowed with his laughter.
"You even take on great beasts?! My friend we have much more to know about the great beasts you've slain!" Levi kept quiet as he ate his pudding whereas Morgan was giving Raven the documents to look through. A full arsenal of weapons, the list of airplane squadrons on standby, the Assault Breaker squads, the tanks and a full list of what he needed. A crew of 50 thousand, with 30 thousand who were operating on the ship. From main cannons, to missiles and the like.
He had the means. The next day was going to be the start for the fall of Drednia Kingdom. That much was assured. Sometimes having superior firepower does feel good.
