Sitting in the truck, Raven was wearing the digital camouflage battle uniform of the Reactionary Force. A black vest that held all the magazines for his rifle with shotgun shells strapped to the front along with a shell carrier by his hip. Pistols loaded with the belt. Where he glanced over at his stats. Noticing two more skills.

Raven could see the nervousness of the other Hunters of Unit 21. The Hunters seated with him were nervous because Skull King or rather Commander Shaw was seated with them in the same truck. Where Raven could see him carrying a similar build like Raven in terms of firearms but favors a machete and a dagger rather than knives. Raven's hair was tied to a bun, wearing a scarf over his face which had a wolf's jaw.
"Have you thought about using swords, Raven?"
"I have, but it's not exactly what I enjoy using." Raven said as he got a text, it was Aquila who showed him a photo of Ivona interacting with the beasts at the guild.
'Raven. She's able to communicate with our tamed partners and tell us what they like and don't like. Just what is she?' Smiling at it, because Ivona's ability was going to be shown.
'It's her class. Don't let it be known. She'll be targeted by the other Hunters for that skill. I'll meet you on the weekend.' Raven put the phone away, thinking about the skills he had. Seeing Commander Shaw's Class.

"We're here!" Stepping out of the truck where Raven and Commander Shaw stood together, as the 25 members of Unit 17 with the 50 members of Unit 21 stood in front of an E-Ranked Gate.
"This mission is simple. A cave dungeon. Make sure your return stones are ready. Enemies are going to be kobolds and the boss is a kobold champion. It's a learning experience. Don't rush ahead. Raven's with me." Shaw briefed the others as he smacked Raven's back, hearing the loud smack. Seeing Raven recoil a step, then yawning.
"There's two routes. Raven and I will take the difficult route with plenty of enemies. We'll be rousing them a lot. Unit 17 and Captain Andersen will be helping the rookie teams. Two members of 17 and 5 members of 21. 17s, teach them the ropes. Raven, let's go inside." Shaw put a cigar to his lip, with Raven lighting it up. The pair entered the dungeon portal, stepping in. Finding nothing but the darkness, the large cave had offered two paths. Pure silence as the pair went to the left path, with rifles drawn. Raven's rifle would be pointing upwards, avoiding flagging Shaw at all times.
"Your eyes used to the darkness yet?" Shaw asked as he doused his cigar.
"Yeah. 50 give or take. How do you want this done, sir?"
"I take left, you take right. Crossfire as we go along."
"Got it." Setting their rifles on semi-auto, the two moved in. Aiming as they both pulled the trigger in sync. Moving forward on their path, every shot fired as if they were reading each other's thoughts. By the corner of Shaw's eye, seeing two kobolds have their heads blown off. Moving forward with the fast shots, a glance at Raven's path. Seeing a kobold archer knock an arrow, only to be shot in the head with a pistol. The smooth movement and transition, Shaw could not help but wonder who was the one that taught him.It wasn't necessarily the speed that had Shaw concerned, but rather the movement and discipline. Raven never lowered the rifle down, everything was muscle memory. The magazine release, taking out a spare magazine and slapping it in. His eyes were always at the front, never elsewhere.

It's like I'm looking at a mirror. Shaw thought as he cleared out the kobolds. Sweeping the barrel on the targets, getting a clear picture in his sights. A pull of the trigger, then snapping to the next target. Even their reloads were in sync. Three kobolds jumped from behind, Shaw did not even turn back. Three gunshots, then hearing three thuds. Meeting at the end of the first area's path.
"Good work."
"Thanks, sir. Need a reload?" Raven asked as he unzipped his bag, passing an extra magazine.
"Thanks. I'll leave my spent magazines in here." Putting it into Raven's bag, then zipping it up. The pair moved forward as footsteps were heard, seeing the glowing kobold eyes staring into them. Unleashing a storm of lead that tore through the incoming kobold formation. Raven fired slower than Commander Shaw when he was reloading the rifle. The style of having the magazine rest on his palm, swapping out the spent magazine for a fresh one with a simple shift of position. Thumb hitting the bolt release.
Taking the full recoil of aura infused bullets into the shoulder. Left hand holding the rail as he continued firing. After the Shaw's reload, Raven would reload but his was just letting the magazine fall out and slapping the new one in. The focus was to keep control over the situation. Kobolds running at them from the front. Pacing their shots as the footsteps stopped, Raven knelt as he grabbed the spent magazines, throwing it into his bag. The two of them soon arrived at the area near the boss.
Shaw took a moment to sit down while Raven was just loading bullets into the spent magazines. The pair sat in silence as the Hunters were slowly making their way over to them.
"How long do you think they'll take?"
"Maybe half an hour. If they follow instructions and learn. 15 minutes." Raven lit a cigarette as he puffed out the smoke from his lungs. Leaning on the wall as he leaned his head on top of the bag. Shaw kept staring at him, trying to wrap his head about what he had seen. How Raven fought. How he kept the composure. Everything was eating at him to ask the question.
"Stare at me too long sir and your eyes might give out."
"You're a professional. It's like I'm looking at a mercenary who has been on plenty of battlefields... Why did you join the RF?"
"I don't know. But I got drafted. So I'll do my time and just wait before they release me. It's only for 3 months. Then we decide if we want to stay or proceed. Most people stay because they don't get any offers to work with the guilds." Then the radio went off.
"What's going on, Captain?"
"Commander, a B-Rank Dungeon just broke outside! The Hunters and other RF units are too far. We're the closest unit!" Shaw paused to glance at Raven who readied his knives.
"Go ahead, Commander. I'll clear the dungeon myself." Shaw was about to say something, only to see his Constellation's message.
'Trust him. He'll get this done.'
"Max, get the others out. We're leaving the dungeon to our phenom."
"But sir!"
"Trust the phenom!" Shaw ran out first as Raven put the rifle and shotgun aside, taking off his tactical vest. Rolling up his sleeves. Grabbing the knives, stepping into the boss room. Seeing kobold champion along with the elite kobolds ready their weapons. A deep breath as Raven coated his knives with aura. His hands were trembling as Raven swung the knives forward. Creating aura waves that destroyed the elite kobolds, leaving the kobold champion the sole survivor. Readying its hammer, swinging at Raven with fast movements, trying to close the gap. Only for Raven to use the knives to deflect the blows. Of course due to the knife's small coverage, Raven had to take the blows head on. Recoiling back a step, as he went for a stab to the leg. Then lacerating the shoulder, using his knee to strike the kobold champion's leg. Forcing the kobold champion on the ground, then coating his knife with aura as he slit the throat.
Raven spat out some blood.
"Even if I manage to mitigate the attack, doesn't mean that I got through it unscathed." A treasure chest appeared in front of him, where Raven opened it. Finding a pair of maces. They had a good balance, each swing felt good. No drag in the swing, a vintage shape but it was practical for his needs. The other reward inside the treasure chest was a sledgehammer.
"You know... Getting blunt weapons are convenient. Don't fucking tell me..."
The B-Rank Dungeon that has broken out has summoned a lich and an army of skeletons..
The original reward was going to be a set of clothes but... It was changed due to the fact that it was a human who broke the dungeon.
"Well. Blades get stuck on the skeleton's ribs anyway. Not that I'm keen on eating bones. Though I can crush them into powder, then make fertilizer out of them. But then I need a garden for that... Maybe I can sell the fertilizer?" Raven thought out loud as he grabbed the sledgehammer, heading over to grab his rifle and shotgun that he left behind.
Rushing out of the portal as it shut, then seeing the lich who stood by the portal. With a skeletal army consisting of skeleton warriors, skeletal dragons, skeletal lizardmen. Skeletons on horses making their way through as Paul was firing his rifle at them. Watching the bullets stop right in the bones. Nothing much could be done in that regard. B-Ranked dungeon enemies have a different ability. Jose, the tank was keeping them back with the other Tanks. Shaw was firing slugs right into the skeletons, keeping them away with Max unleashing her elemental barrage to break their formation.
Scratching his head as Raven saw the civilians. This was going to be another annoying case, but at times. He just needs to do what he does best. Putting the rifle and shotgun into the truck. Taking off his tactical vest, Smash some skeletons. Gunfire, magic all around him. Raven just had a lit cigarette on his lip, eating it as he swung the mace at a skeleton. Dislodging the head into the air, followed by a kick that sent dozens of them falling. Throwing the maces into the ones further ahead, readying the sledgehammer as Raven pounded the skeletons to dust.
Dragging his feet as the skeletons knocked off arrows and fired muskets. Only to see Raven who just had a scowl on his face, walking through the arrows and lead. He was trying to get his mind into it, to get a feel of an excitement of sorts. He was going up against skeletons.
"Ashenworth! Get back here!" Holding the sledgehammer with both hands as he swung it, crushing an entire dozen skeletons with a single movement. Every weapon in his hand had a technique, a sledgehammer to the untrained would be nothing short of power. But they watched how Raven thrusted the sledgehammer forward, breaking three armored skeletons from the inside. Shattering their bones to dust. Then moving with a swing to the left, adjusting his hands as he tightened the grip for a third swing to the right. Constantly moving his weapon, chaining strikes upon the skeletons.
Raven's mind focused on what was in front of him. His threats, the musket fire and arrows weren't an issue to him. Arrows and musket balls grazing his body. A skeleton swung a sword, only for Raven to brush it to the side with the side of the hammer's head, then a thrusting strike to the head. Swinging the hammer down to crush the skeleton's bones, leaving the armor intact. A skeletal lizardman swiped its claws, seeing it stuck in Raven's hip. Attempting to pull it out, only to see Raven smile at it. A punch to send the skull flying to the side, with Raven swinging the hammer at the chest. Sending the skeletal lizardman flying at the lich.
Raven took a moment to light a cigarette, then pulling out a pistol for his left hand and right hand wielding the sledgehammer. He was holding the sledgehammer with a loose grip. It wasn't going to slip out of his hand, but rather it was for the way he fought. The loose grip, meant the hammer head would lead him to his targets. A tight grip on the pistol, imbueing mana into it. Firing a few shots, seeing how the bullets crash into the skeletons. A seedling appeared from the bullet holes, seedlings sprouting from within. Opening up to crush the skeletons all in one fell swoop. The Lich glanced at Raven, raising its hand. Unleashing magic missiles that were as small as marbles but their speed?
It was faster than Raven could react due to his current limitation. No matter how he moved, he can't dodge it. Sent flying as he crashed into a skyscraper.
"Ashwenworth!" Shaw fired his rifle while Max leaped over to see where he was.Seeing Raven leap out beside Shaw and Max. Dust and rubble, he coughed out blood.
"That's enough! Stand down!"
"That lich still has more allies. If we stand down now, it'll gather enough to overwhelm our numbers. I'm going to get close to it." Raven said as he grabbed the shotgun and placing an ammo pouch to his belt.
"That's reckless!" Max shouted only to see Raven grin at her, despite coughing out blood he was grinning. Blood trickling from his head and nose. Pulling the charging handle as he let out a sigh. Chuckling as he stretched his neck.
"If you want to help. Fire down range, don't worry about me. Also bombard the crap out of it."
"Wait. Let me buff you!" Lila, a support mage casted buffs on Raven, only to see her buffs negated.
"What? Why are my buffs negated!?"
"Just buff the shotgun. I rejected your buffs. The way my skill works is. The crazier the situation, the better my senses." Chuckling as he wore the brightest smile on his face, dashing forward when the buff was applied. Skeletons blocked his path but Raven just weaved through them, firing a charged aura shot that cleared an entire dozen. Pulverizing them completely, firing another charged mana shot. Unleashing ice with the 00buck that turned into javelins that tore through the skeletons. Charging it up with holy energy, the Lich reacted by having skeletons with shields stand in front of it. A piss poor attempt to stop Raven who just leaped over it. Imbuing aura into his legs as he stomped onto the barrier, breaking it. His foot on the Lich's face.
"Smile for me." Firing the full 8 shells imbued with holy energy the lich's body disintegrated. Causing the skeletal army to fall, with Raven seeing a dozen gems on the ground.
Vinter has left a weapon for you.
It's inside the second gem.
A weapon you know all too well.
Raven picked up the second gem, then crushing it. As darkness began to converge on his area, where they see a large spider, with the top half of a woman appearing in front of him. The Hunters readied their weapons, but Raven just signaled them to not do anything.
"Hello." She held Raven's cheeks, then a peck.
"Widowmaker. Why are you here?"
"To give you your weapon of course." She said as they see webs appear by Raven's side, unveiling a katana that was encased in webbing. Touching it where they see a dozen eyes open to look around.
"Thousand Eyes. It's a great weapon. Thanks." Widowmaker gave a peck on Raven's cheek, then she vanished away. The Thousand Eyes, it was a katana that had only one use. A single draw was all that was needed as the wielder would project how the cuts would work. It was a difficult weapon to use for anyone who does not have full understanding because the weapon can recoil back by cutting the wielder up. Raven walked back to the others.
"Good work, but you're fired." Shaw said out loud.
"Eh?" Raven raised an eyebrow to what Shaw had said.
