The phoenix mark illuminated silver over his green skin, and Avrow raised his eyebrows in absolute shock his life force was bubbling over and he could not contain it. He sat down crossed legged and went into a meditative state. "What in the hell is happening," asked Soren as the three of them watched, the sky grew dark and thunder with no lightning crashed in the air, beams of light danced through the clouds like a light show in a concert. This phenomenon went on for an hour with the energy increasing steadily. His energy exploded kicking up a cloud of dust, and once the dust settled a small crater was formed with him at the center. The three of them could immediately tell he was much stronger than before but they didn't understand what all the special effects were for. Tempest who was the most impressionable of the lot was the first to ask in an outburst, "What in the hell was that??!"

"Aw I broke through, I am from a place that practices cultivation. I take it you don't know about it yet do you? That would explain why even though you guys are quite skilled you're not tapping into your full potential yet. It has been a fairly guarded secret. Most everyone who is A or S class has a cultivation method, each method is suited for a certain individual so even though I practice one I cannot teach you mine. That is why I was here I stole cultivation methods and I have numerous with me that I can help you learn. Besides since I just broke through I find my current cultivation technique unsuitable so we can all go through them together," explain Avrow.

"What is cultivation? How does it work," asked Skadi.

"It's the practice of absorbing spiritual energy through special breathing exercises that is present throughout heaven and earth. It allows one to shed the limits of the mortal flesh. There are several different cultivation spiritualities, but most practice martial cultivation. Most A and S ranks are in the mortal realm, but the SS and SSS ranks are certainly in the Sacred domain."

"Do you have any cultivation methods suitable for all of us," asked Tempest.

"Lets see," Avrow began to pulled out an enormous gourd, and after he pulled out the stopper thousands of manuals began to lay themselves out in a row. The three others were astonished, it looks like he had raided several treasuries to find all these. Avrow then began to place special runes out in the dirt all around the rows of manuals while he explained, "Each person has a compatible cultivation method and each method is then ranked from lowest to greatest, including the martial arts they can learn. The ranks are black, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, black diamond. The rank affects how efficient they are at absorbing heavenly energy and purifying it. This array, once I get a bit of your blood, will make the most suitable method within launch out to you. Once the method finds you it will quickly dissipate into your knowledge sea. Once you experience it, you will know what I mean for even those that do not cultivate have a knowledge sea."

While Avrow was laying out the cultivation methods, forming the array, and explaining the ins and outs of how things work, Soren was investigating his stats and also decided to inspect the egg he was holding.

Soren raised his eyebrows in astonishment, not only did that harpy egg have a Garuda bloodline, but Avrow had high stats and a spirit stat that he hadn't seen before. Once the array was finished Avrow activated it with his energy. Like a flame following a fuse, the energy went along the formation of the array, the four of them could feel the energy cascading out of the formation. Four manuals rose out of the group of cultivation methods and they launched themselves at the four people in the room. Soren reached out for the manual that came flying towards him: Mystical Ying-Yang Warfare. Skadi and Tempest did the same with the manuals that went towards them. Skadi received Empress of the Wintery Storm and Tempest received Beast Savagery Demonic Aura. Even Avrow got one, which he was not expecting, 'Divine Spirit Force Scripture, did my aptitude change due to this weird marking? My limit has always been gold ranked methods but this is easily a platinum maybe even a medium diamond. Theirs are all black diamond without a doubt. What's stranger is that man's method is a peak black diamond, the more stringent the criteria to cultivate the bigger the benefits and that method requires one to possess, harness and master to energies with directly opposing attributes. What did I get myself into?'

The manuals that each of them held had broken down into light particles, and like hundreds of tiny shooting stars, darted into their heads which gave them the knowledge on how to proceed. Skadi and Tempest were shocked to say the least, they had never heard of such a method but were incredibly eager to start absorbing this newfound energy. Soren on the other hand was confused, the method he was most suited for required possession of two conflicting energies and he was a devil that was chosen as the devil's champion for a Sin. 'What other energy could I possibly have that could compete with that? Maybe it has something to do with the section of my status that I cannot read,' Soren thought. Even though Soren was having those internal strife's, he was still extremely eager to get a big boost in power. Avrow watching with rapt attention saw Soren pull out a large scythe out of apparently no where, and cut the air with it. Once cut a spatial rift opened up and was now staring at a six foot tall portal. "Come on, we are going home. Avrow let's go, " Soren directed. The four of them and the egg came out of the portal in the middle of the fortress grounds, Bernard was a little startled, "Man, I am never gonna get used to that."

"Bernard, this is Avrow, he is going to joining us from now on. He is about to help us with some training so please clear the area because we aren't sure what's going to happen," Tempest explained.

"Of course."

Bernard cleared the area and shut down the courtyard, once everyone was gone Avrow began instructing, "Sit down cross your legs and place your hands together with your fingertips touching. This position will help you take the energy and direct it to the place your method tells you to put it. Most of the time its your dantian which is located right above your naval, but it is not always the case. It will have you direct your energy through one of four gates that will enhance your methods, for instance, my new method directs me to flow my energy through the north gate known for being sturdy and tenacious. Once you have gotten into position close your eyes and internally chant the manual that you all have assimilated with, and after some time you all will make some progress."

The three of them sat down following Avrow's instructions, settled their breathing, and began chanting their individual cultivation methods. Avrow watched and waited, when cultivating you end up in a serene state of mind that feels as if time slows. Its in this intense period of focus that you're able to really start to gather energy. He wanted to ensure that they got to that phase of the training before stabilizing his own with this new method that presented itself to him. Once they got that phase, he started to sit down to start his own meditation when the phoenix on their body's started to glow, and Avrow was no exception. The weather started to go awry, lightning struck, winds picked up, and the clouds turned black.

"What in the world is this chaotic energy? Whatever it is I cannot afford to miss it," Avrow said as he hastily got himself into position.
