Soren fell to the floor of the cave spread eagle, his anger on simmer. He finally got his complete revenge, but now what? He had thought of so little else that now he had grown incredibly tired. It was not physical but emotional, and as he lay there coalesced his experiences up to this point. He wanted to relax for a few days and really spend some quality time with Skadi and Tempest. Not on his terms, but theirs, they had helped him a lot so he wanted to reward their efforts. After those few days though, he would have to get into some intensive training while looking for his guildmate Crovax. He knew he couldn't remain idle especially sine he had already had an encounter with one of the other god classes. Soren also thought about everyone picking up a trade, not solely to fill idle time, but establish a balance for his life.
Skadi and Tempest sat next to Soren whom laid on the floor for the better part of a couple hours.
"I think I want to become an enchanter, Skadi with your strength and control I think you can become an incredible blacksmith. Tempest, I know you are working on making an intelligence network I'd like to help you with that goal as well, " Soren explained and after a brief pause asked, "Skadi, Tempest, is there anything you need to accomplish, like my revenge for instance, that I can assist you with. I want to help you like you two helped me."
Skadi worked her jaw several times before barely a whisper escaped her lips, "Lich... I'll need help with a...lich." Sorens eyes widened. He would be happy to help for sure but that was no small order. "I promise to help you with that, though we may need to prepare for such a task," said Soren.
"Thanks, an undead horde led by that lich destroyed my home. Our home wasn't even its goal as only a few of our villagers became part of its horde, but the horse's wake left our village completely destroyed, the surivors having to move locations. "
"Maybe we should gather some of the guildmates to help with this undead army, news of it shouldn't be hard to come across, lets go see if we can't find Crovax first because our chances will increase with a S rank with us."
"I hate to ruin the parade," Tempest interjected, "but we will have train pretty hard before we are ready to go against vampires if that's really what happened to him. Even the weakest vampires are stronger than what we are now."
"OK so it's settled, level up with dungeons and then go," Soren finalized.
Bernard was putting the finishing touches into the fortress, he had really gone above and beyond with the project. The place looked so different being completely rejuvenated. The old stone became the foundation which was now covered with earth. This made the original floor a basement and the new ground floor was raised by ten feet. The main floor was now made of magically fortified stone, the stone white as marble due to the magical influence. The fortress rose three stories and had one basement level. The entry opened into a dual staircase on both sides, a giant glittering chandelier reflected light from the large windows on the upper floors. A massive kitchen and food storage, ballroom, dining area, and a lounge. Every room on the second floor was a huge bedroom, some of these bedrooms had been turned into a different type of room like a bath or trophy room. The top was the master's bedroom, and the rooms for his blood companions. The center inside the walls was an outdoor training facility, stable, and had a stall where one could buy items found on recent exploits. The first floor, which is now the basement, was now both a prison, storage room, and where the Bernard and Tempest would go yo turn. Bernard was incredibly proud of the work he accomplished, a black sphere materialized in the courtyard in between the training field and the shop. Bernard saw his benefactors emerge from the portal which closed after the last passed through. The three emerged from the portal and were covered in blood from head to toe, all dry hardly any of it theirs. The three looked around in wonder at the pristine new fortress they had come home to. Soren was the first to voice his opinion, "Bernard, this is splendid! You did a good job, mind telling us where the bath is?" Bernard looked elated at the complement his chest seemed to swell with pride, "Well of course sir, right this way." Bernard took them through the fortress and began showing them the ins and outs of the fortress, he even told them that the smugglers tunnel had been repaired as well. Bernard left them outside the bath door and a similar reaction came from each of them. Entering the bath they gazed at the wondrous marble looking stone, the tub took up the majority of the room, and had nozzles on the outskirts of the bath to clean before entering the bath. The was a button that activated fire stones underneath the tub that heated the water. Fir stones were a kind of mineral in enchanting that helped to adorn weapons and armors with fire properties. The undressed and washed themselves thoroughly while the fire stones warmed the water to a pleasant temperature. Once they were done they all entered as they let the warm water bleed the stress from their bodies. Soren leaned his head back and closed his eyes, just soaking in the peacefulness of the bath. He felt a weight on both of his legs and something soft was touching each side of his face. He opened his eyes and saw Skadi's large breast and Tempests more modest one tickling his face each girl choosing a different leg to straddle. The fortresses servants made it a point to avoid that room for the next couple hours as moans echoed from behind the door. The next week had been almost identical at the fortress. Everyone would wake up and dress themselves before eating breakfast together, they would train, then they would bath together, then eat dinner together, then they would do research to see what dungeon best suited their needs, and everyone ended their day late into the night as they participated in sexual activities till they were spent. Dungeons were not the easiest things to find and most of the known ones were low leveled, and Soren had asked Bernard to find someone to teach him how to be an enchanter. Through the week of training no one was able to gain a level, but everyone improved their skills.

Soren had been able to locate a new dungeon that was not one of the other ones they had been researching, it was a higher level dungeon that involved an annoying type of monster: harpies. It was the perfect place for them to level up a bit before trying to save Crovax.
"Tomorrow we go hunting," smiled Soren.
