Wave and Tempest squared each other up on either side of the platform that they were fighting on. Tempest brought her daggers up to her face with the blades facing outwards as they lined along the length of her forearm, her combat ready stance. Wave, on the other hand for the first time in this tournament, brought out a physical weapon, not just one made out of water magic. It was a long sharp metal object that at first glance could be mistaken for a crudely made spear, but attached to the butt of the weapon was a thick chain which was subsequently attached to Wave's wrist. 'I can feel the magic emanating off that weapon, I need to be careful,' Tempest thought as the two began to move in a circle as they one tried to get an advantage with body position while the other moved to prevent it. Wave raised his arm, Tempest lowered her center of gravity getting ready to move, Wave threw the weapon hard. The weapon exploded out of Wave's hand and Tempest barely managed to get out of the way, however, the chains retracted and Wave came quick and before Tempest could react caught a heavy blow to her face with Wave's tailed end sending her flying towards the outside of the ring. Tempest thrust her hand to the floor in order to flip over and land back on her feet skidding to a halt roughly five feet from the edge of the ring. Wave didn't give her a chance to recover, he threw the weapon again, this time she only moved enough to dodge the weapon and got ready to receive Wave launching toward her, except he didn't fly to her this time. She saw him simply pull on the weapon she just dodged and felt a sharp pain as the protruding end slashed her arm on the way back to its master. Her wound immediately began to heal and Wave scowled, "You got some interesting abilities, but with my harpoon we should be able to win this." Wave then put his hands together as if he was praying and when he pulled them apart water connected his palms. He then threw the water all over the platform so that various spots were covered in water, but as far as Tempest could tell, that was it, just wet spots on the ground. 'I don't have the luxury to just sit here and try to figure out what every one of his spells or abilities do' she thought as she ran towards Wave. Wave through the harpoon again, this time Tempest used [Severing Claw] knocking the weapon off its trajectory. {Tsssk} Wave kissed his teeth in annoyance as he retracted his weapon back to him. Tempest finally had closed the gap and began her onslaught of dagger attacks trying to wear Wave down, however, despite the size and guess weight of the harpoon Tempest was not able to land a clean hit, Wave was very skillful with his harpoon deflecting or blocking each strike Tempest made. During one such parry Wave made a quick motion with his tail and knock Tempest off balance and using that opportunity he used a palm strike to causing her back-peddle a few steps. Wave dropped his guard and relaxed, Tempest was about to ask him about it when from beneath her feet came a wave of water trapping her in a sphere of water. She had been forced to step into the middle of one of the puddles which now led to her capture. The water was thick and viscous making it extremely difficult to move, and she was holding her breath since she was unable to breathe underwater. "Now how would you like me to end this? I can either push you out of bounds or wait till you faint from oxygen deficiency? Since I'm a courteous fighter I'll let you choose," Wave said with a smirk. Through her anger her teeth started to elongate but otherwise kept her transformation under control, 'Lunar magic' [Armor of Hermes], a pale glow enveloped Tempest as semi transparent armor had been equipped over her chest, forearms, and shins. She quickly phased through the water sphere as if it didn't exist in the first place, and delivered a Kempo strike right to the naga's nose was. Wave rolled back into a fighting position confused on how she managed to escape his water trap spell but after getting his barings he lost sight of her as he received another blow to his head. This blow not as powerful as the last, didn't send him sprawling but wish it had because he started to receive a flurry of strikes and because of the first blow to the head, was having more trouble fending the strikes off. Face, ribs, solar plex, ribs, lower abdomen, chest, ribs, tail stomp; the blows were erratic and her strange techniques made them all the more difficult to predict. Tempest continued her flurry ending with an uppercut to the chin as Wave laid on his back and Tempest returned to a resting but defensive stance to see how the naga would retaliate, the crowd went wild. After the beating he received Wave was unable to main the flow of his magic and the water that littered the platform disappeared. Wave rose from the ground and Tempest readied herself, 'His fighting style has been quite unpredictable and very flexible. This fight would have been over already if I didn't manage to unlock my lunar spell,' she thought to herself, but immediately relaxed when Wave raised his arm high. "I don't know your reason for doing so, but I can tell when someone is holding back. Everyone has their secrets so I won't pry but I know I won't be able to win this fight," Wave explained to Tempest before raising his voice for the entire crowd to hear, "I surrender!"

"The winner of D block and ONE THOUSAND gold coins is Tempest of the Twilight Dragon's Guild," the officiant announced loudly, "C block contestants Soren and Mikan please make your way to the platform your match is about to begin."
Soren leisurely strolled up to the platform and waited for his opponent. After only a few moments Soren began to feel vibrations in his feet, and shortly after that a bald head came into view. Skin like ash, shoulders the size of small boulders, a barreled chest, and legs as thick as tress. A man who stood twelve feet tall entered the ring wielding a huge claymore in one hand.[Inspect]
Under normal circumstances this may have been a challenging fight, however, he doesn't need to beat him unconscious he only needs to get him out of the platform. That works to Soren's benefit since giants and the like are known for their strength and resilience. "The first match of the C block can now commence," shouted the officiant as Soren took a huge breath in so that his head moved backwards. [Sonic Shockwave] A massive shockwave hurled toward Jarksen who could see the debris on the stage get decimated by the incoming attack, stabbed his sword into the platform to activate his own skill [Vangaurd] and an invisible force enveloped him. Jarksen felt the force of the impact on his skill, the wind around him felt like he had been in a tornado, just from the force of the attack that hit his shield. When the shield came into contact with the powerful shockwave, it shattered but left Jarksen untouched. 'Just what was that ability? It shattered my vangaurd in one hit! My class specializes in keeping myself and others untouched yet he destroyed it so easily,' thought Jarksen.
"What the hell was that," one of the fans in the stands asked, "That looked like an attack from a demon bear!"
"A demon bear attack had nothing on that," said another, "That may be an attack derived from a demon bear but that attack was significantly more powerful, and an adult demon bear is a B or A ranked threat!"
Jarksen felt like he could no longer just stand around, he had been confident that his skills could block all of his opponents attacks giving him additional time to form a strategy but now that's not the case. He charged Soren at a speed that was not befitting his size and whirlwind spun his sword aiming to cleave his opponent in two. Soren leapt completely over the Jarksen and landed in his shadow behind him [Shadow Meld]. The crowd was on their feet, the majority of them had never seen that type of magic and Jarksen didn't know where his opponent had gone. Soren waited a minute before leaping out and again using [Sonic Shockwave] this time hitting Jarksen in the back sending him flying off the platform. Jarksen was hurt pretty bad but considering the resiliency of the giants he would be ok, healing magic would fix him right up.
"T...the first match victor is Soren!!," the officiant stuttered, "Please have Skadi and Turg make their way to the platform!"
'That guys class is War God huh, guess that means its time to put him in his place,' thought the S rank competitor.
