Soren was pacing back and forth hyperventilating and started sweat some, 'Husband! I'm her husband!? I haven't even had a girlfriend!'
As Soren began to calm down he realized that even though he hadn't known her long she was a pleasure to be around, not to mention she was one the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on. Since the ritual they both had full access to each other's statuses and he could see that she had some interesting abilities, and like he thought, she possessed ice magic which according to the system was fairly rare. A lightbulb went off in his head and he pulled the advanced ice magic tome out of his inventory and handed it to her, "A blood bound gift if you will." Skadi's eyes lit up, she immediately tucked the book away, but he could tell she was eager to dive into it. Even though Soren was in the process of wrapping his head around the idea, nothing is that simple for Skadi, she wanted to be able to tease him a bit. Her shirt was off and she was covering herself with her forearm holding her very endowed chest, "Husband, would you mind helping me with my armor." Soren gulped, he was starting to have issues controlling his body as things started to enlarge. Skadi reached down with her free arm and picked up the armor and handed it to him. Soren still inexperienced panicked, "Sure, turn around and put your hands up," he instructed.
As Skadi turned around she nearly slammed her rear into Soren's crotch feeling everything she wanted to, winking at Soren in the process. Skadi was giddy with how awkward Soren was behaving, the man was a fearless fighter but with woman so timid. As Soren was fastening the armor onto her shoulders, his eyes became glued to the silver tattoo now etched into her back. Cane came rushing through the bushes, it was at the perfect time where he was unable to tell if Soren was helping to put the armor on or take it off. Cane quickly averted his gaze, Soren panicked further and dropped the armor forcing Skadi to put it back on herself, which she happily did as she just laughed at Soren.
"W-what do I owe the pleasure Cane," Soren asked struggling to articulate himself properly.
"I saw nothing. Anyways, the reason why I am here is that I had to come find you. James just announced to everyone in the village that he was resigning his position. I think he is going to leave the village once he sends the letter to the guild requesting a new mayor. Most likely the new mayor will be A rank. They don't want anyone incompetent to take the position, but in the meantime his assistant Jill is taking over."
"This is excellent news! Skadi and I will have to steak out the village tonight so when he leaves we'll be able to get the information we need. Huh? What's bothering you?"
"He may have already left, if he's as cowardly as you say. Anyway, if you two make it to the village you can probably see him depart and catch him."
Soren thanked Cane, who then left and by this time Skadi was now fully dressed. They gathered up the small amount of things they had ready to return to the village. "Soren, I've been thinking that since I'm going to be traveling with you, and you having a knack for attracting trouble, I think it'd benefit me as much as fighting with my fists, I'd like to get a proper weapon. Do we have the coin for that?
"Yes we do, let me take care of this task first, then we will get your weapon, because I will definitely need your assistance after this."
"We are bound now, our troubles are each others and so whatever assistance you require I will help."
"You can count on me as well."
The two of them worked their way through the thick forest with night approaching and once close enough Soren had began walking using his [Hunter's stride] skill, which leveled up after about an hour or so. He scanned around the village slinking in between buildings. He walked past his old home, the well, and a few other buildings that were not there before like the blacksmith, but he could not spot the mayors office. That was when he noticed the podium, in the town center and behind it, was the biggest building in the village.

He watched and waited, even though he was looking at every building his main focus was the biggest one and sure enough a man was seen with a cloak on leaving in the dead of night. Luckily for Soren the moon was high in the sky full in all its glory. Skadi was on the outskirts of the village she had seen Soren give directions with his fingers as she sprinted in the direction while Soren followed. The cloaked figure was being secretive, he was not sprinting through the town he merely wanted to vanish.

Cloaked Figures' POV
Alright made it out now who do I run to Greg or Evan? Evan is teaching magic at the academy while Greg is a mercenary somewhere. Well, At least I know where to find Evan, I'll go there.
Right after the cloaked figure had made up their mind he had only taken a couple of steps when they spotted and enormous woman, and beautiful She had light blue hair that was shaved on one side with a barbaric looking armor set that even had a tail the swayed between her legs as she walked. They glanced over their shoulder, then faced the woman poised nervously.
There is no one behind me, this woman has to be staring at me.
The cloaked figure straightened himself up, brushed off his shoulders, and attempted to walk around the large woman. Skadi blocked the cloaked figure's way. The cloaked figure spun around quickly grabbing something from its pocket and threw it in Skadi's face. A white mist littered the air as Skadi grunted being temporarily blinded, "Damn chalk what the hell," she griped.
The cloaked figure did not answer, it just sprinted off around the woman as fast as their legs would carry them. Skadi after a few moments was able to better her eyes and gave chase to the figure. The cloak figured ran unrelenting, they had a couple miles to go before they were able to reach a clearing for a rendezvous point with their contact. The cloaked figure looked around, they had not been to this part of the woods before, but something was unsettling it. {Thump} they turned around as horror had stricken its face.

Soren's POV
Look at that coward throwing, what is that chalk? Does he have a death wish throwing that into her face?
Soren flew through the forest trying to catch up. He also was trying to remain as quiet as possible. Following people like this was exhausting, not really Soren's style. Fortunately about after half and hour of navigating through the woods Skadi had found a clearing that was easy for us to trap that traitor in. Soren spotted a ledge that would allow him to jump down on top of James halting his escape. The two tumbled for a minute the cloaked figure trying to escape from Soren's grasp until he managed to stand and with a single motion, grabbed the scruff of the cloak and threw James into a tree. {Thud} the figure slumped down onto the ground unmoving, Soren was startled James should've put up much more resistance than that. Soren approached the cloaked figure and ripped the cloaks hood off revealing a woman he'd never seen before. Soren's face grew angry, " WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"
