08-Kill Steal_The Conquerer System

With the two adventurers slouched over and panting the snake became emboldened and charged the two "Blake buy me some time! I can use my corkscrew ability only one more time" Roy shouted. "Ill get you an opening if you can return the favor!" replied Blake. Blake took off at a sprint removing a small black ball from his belt pouch {bwoosh} black smoke exploded around the snake preventing it from smelling the adventurers. Roy positioned himself in between two trees that were close enough together it would prevent the snake from slithering through them. He started to use the remaining mana to elongate and twist the arrow, Blake was dancing in and out of striking range; the snake was as well trying to time his strike when Blake got close enough. Once the smoke cleared you could see the snake flicker its tongue, then immediately upon doing so attacked Blake with its tail. Blake tried to block it but the blow was too heavy and got sent flying backwards coughing up blood. The snake turned to Roy and rushed him; Roy just finishing up readying his attack pulled back on the string {pfisss}{pfisss} poison was launched at him and making a split second decision dove to one side while loosing the corkscrewed arrow. Roy was not very lucky, the arrow was slightly off the mark and some of the poison hit his leg he dove in an attempt to avoid it.

Both the adventurers were pretty weak now and may even die if Soren didn't get involved; waiting for the snake to slither up to Blake. The snake knew it had hit the other two leg with its poison, a poison it had confidence in, he could leave the weak thing alone and focus more of its attention on the lively one before eating them both. It reared up readying itself to strike down at Blake, it lunged, Blake closed his eyes waiting for the attack he knew he wouldn't be able to dodge. While his eyes were closed a blur swooped down onto the unknowing snake.

'Ugh that's it? I've got to at least get him down.'

Soren started to perform a barrage of clawed attacks, the snake feeling the damage kept trying to bite him, however, Soren was far too small for the snake. He was able to climb onto the back of it and strike it over and over, if the snake tried to toss him off he would dig his claws into the snake and hold on. When the snake had reached 100 hp the snake started to get desperate to remove the tiny annoyance from its body and started rolling around onto his back rolling around in circles. The snake's strategy worked, it force Soren to remove himself from the back of the snake. Luckily Soren guessed correctly on what the snake was about to do and removed himself before getting crushed by the enormous weight of the beast. He then formed his lightning spear, but changed the shape of it forming the same kind of corkscrew Roy had.

Roy thought to himself, 'No way that's lightning magic!! Does this monster possess the same skill as I do, he corkscrewed the spear? What's more is this monster is a humanoid kind, most humanoid monsters are classified as disaster class monsters! This could very well be the destruction of the capitol if we aren't careful.'

Upon completion of the spear Soren hurled it with all his might, even adding additional mana for the lightning magic to greatly increase the rotations per second on the spear making it spin through the air faster than ever. The spear hit the snake in the center of the chest.

'Only 20 hp?'

'Now you tell me!'

' -_- ; Well that ability costs too much mana for only 20 points of damage.'

He immediately went back to using [clawed slash], each attack making cuts through the hard scales of the snake.

'I only need to land four attacks, then Ill finish it off with my new move.'

Soren was dodging in and out as the snake was preventing him from getting close, weaving left then right as he was dashing in closing the distance. The snake lunged and Soren made a leap for it jumping over the head of the snake that snapped a tree in half with its iron-like fangs. While he was descending he slashed at the snakes head causing four gashes to appear. The snake writhed making Soren retreat backwards a little ways to get some distance between the two of them. The snake took off at Roy, whom was still on the ground trying to recover from the poisoning. "No you don't!" as Soren shouted a battle cry [Spike bombardment]. Soren whipped his tail as all 50 of the spines of fur shot out, hardened to make a deadly attack, there being too many needles to avoid the snake ended up getting hit by most of them and skidded to a halt a few feet from Roy, dead.

Soren felt a need to assist the adventurers who were both worse for wear, he ran over to Roy first who was in much greater trouble than Blake.

He then rushed over to Blake who looked to be in a little bit better shape only cause he managed to not get himself poisoned.

'I pretty much took care of their most serious injuries they should be out of an immediate life threatening danger.'

Roy thought 'Did that humanoid monster just save us??! What the hell is going on.' Roy rushed over to where Blake and the strange child looking creature were, the creature stood roughly three feet tall had fox like ears, clawed hands and a tail. All his fur was silver with the tips being black.

"Where are we right now?" asked Soren.

Roy feeling compelled to answer, "We are 30 miles east of the capitol Illyria. Why did I answer him? What if this monster wanted to hunt people."

"Illyria? How far is that from Krooger Village, probably 10 miles west of the ravine."

"The ravine? Gosh that's several hundred miles to the south of here and you have to go through some pretty treacherous jungle to boot." replied Blake

"Ill need some things to trade for some gold since I'll be heading to the capitol first can I have that iron hide snake skin and if you have any ore for weapons, that'd be great as well," said Soren as he began to separate himself from the two.

Roy and Blake thought to themselves, "Why cant I refuse the request?! I want to give him everything he just asked for?"

Blake excitedly responded, "Sure! We have some cold-iron ore and some lunar ore please take what you need."

"Thanks! You're sure friendly guys"

Soren sectioned off a small part of the snake to be used as a bag for all the ore he was taking 6 pieces of cold-iron and 6 pieces of lunar ore. He also dragged as much of the skin as possible, but not before making a hearty meal out of the snake before heading east to the capitol Illyria.

[reciprocated helper]- upon doing a good act and being a good samaritan those that were helped will be magically influenced to repay any favors as long as it does not put themselves in physical harm, for example you cannot ask them to die. Those immune to charm are unaffected by this ability
