Soren's body hit the floor as his head rolled a couple feet away, Skadi and Tempest grew pale. Neither of them were able to see the woman attack either and Anabelle might be the strongest person they had had the displeasure of meeting. The two women screamed in rage and charged Anabelle resolute in getting revenge for Soren. "You're not a target nor worth my time," Anabelle sighed as she vanished again. Before she reappeared in the street two walls were destroyed as Skadi and Tempest went flying through them, out cold. Anabelle sheathed her sword and walked out of town. Fifteen minutes later the girls started to stir, water from the rain started to flood the empty street, and dazed, walked towards Soren. "Hey! quickly bring my head to my body so I can heal! My head can't be removed for long," exclaimed Soren. The Skadi and Tempest were appalled that a severed head was talking to them, but the happiness that he was alive overshadowed their repulsion. Tempest quickly grabbed Soren's head by the hair and lined up the neck to where it was cut and they watched as the skin and muscles reattached themselves. After a few quick moments Soren was back on his feet rolling his head on his shoulders stretching out his neck. "Man that was super close, thanks for helping me out, now lets get the hell out of here before she gets back we wont be able to fight her for a while," Soren explained.
'I finally got fifty skill points, I'll have to buy some thing, but it'll have to wait, I need to get out of Illyria first I cannot afford to run into Anabelle again for a long while,' thought Soren. The trio shirked away into an alley where Soren had opened up a portal using his scythe and returned to the ruined castle they had commissioned to be repaired. After the few days they had spent in the capitol there were tens of carts of materials with Bernard overseeing the construction. "No, no, no! I told you that cart needs to go near the east wall, Oh you guys are back. The repairs haven't started yet, but I can guarantee that once its finished it'll be the best castle in the country."
"Very good, well done Bernard," praised Tempest.
"We're pretty tired, we are gonna set up a place to crash for the day and then we shall be off again, I think I'll have to buy a carrier falcon to send you messages quite a bit faster," Soren interjected. The group slept through the early afternoon and into the next morning, feeling much better now that they were so rested. Soren had called a meeting between the three of them. They sealed themselves in one of the only in tact rooms in the castle and with a serious face Soren sighed, "I feel we need to train more, I don't want what happened last night to ever happen again. We need to be more serious about leveling up our skills and growing levels. We first are going to track down Greg, then we are going to focus on leveling by taking guild quests. We need to get much stronger." Soren then explained the "God" classes, how he possessed the War God class ruled by a supreme deity and that there were others and they would eventually have to fight till the last standing. "I just never thought I would run into one so quickly," Soren finished. Instead of looking anxious or worried, the girls look invigorated, they were ecstatic for another reason to grow stronger. "Love the look in your eyes ladies, what we need now is a professional tracker, for that we need to talk to Bernard, I am sure he has someone in mind or where we can find them. Tempest, since he's part of your pack I'll leave that task to you. Skadi, take some of that gold and go with Tempest to bribe the leader of Krooger Village, see if there is anything that belongs to Greg, or anything that he's touched recently but don't wrap it in anything that may carry a scent," he finished. The girls left to their tasks and now that Soren had a moment to himself he was ready to open his system store to finally purchase a skill.
'Open System Store, Skills and Magic'
There were hundreds of skills and magic to choose from but Soren already had an idea of what he was looking for based on his current stats. He still possessed a random ability box, two skill upgrades, and a random skill box. He had no way of getting spells from magic affinities he had no spells for. With that thought process he shifted his focus.

'I don't know which one is going to be the most useful right now, I have some light spells which work well. I already have two space/time spells one of which costs me nothing to use and its been great. Arg the curiosity is killing me, system allocate 50 sp into gravity magic.'
'What a spell, that was definitely worth the fifty skill points, it wont even matter if it does no damage the control of the spell is amazing. I also have a random ability box might as well use it as well. System, roll random ability.'
'Evolving ability?'
'Good now I am going to use my skill upgrade boxes on Sonic Shockwave and Thousand Phantom Foot'
Over the next few days the group went about their tasks, Skadi going to Krooger Village and Tempest looking for the tracker Bernard recommended. Soren was searching for a creature to Tame but was not having much luck, the taming ability was incredibly difficult to use apparently the success rate is low also. Soren was determined though to tame a unique creature that will help his team and decided on something to help him pass messages back and forth, for more utility. He even, by shear luck, found the perfect creature to tame. The problem was taming it.
For being one of the fastest birds around it was quite large, the bird was the size of a small child. The taming ability required one to touch the target to imprint a symbol, and Soren quickly found out that being the fastest Falcon species was not an exaggeration. Soren spent hours trying to touch this bird and even with [Reflux] he hadn't been able to get close enough. Through all his attempts though [Reflux] had managed to gain a level. Soren decided he needed to be more forceful so settled on a more destructive approach, he just hoped he didn't accidentally harm the bird. Soren hid in the forest beneath the bird in the cover of brush, the bird was clearly scanning the floor below since he had been bothered for several days now but it was confident in its speed. [Black Hole] a watermelon sized black ball materialized a few feet behind the bird who instantly felt heavy pressure pulling it. The bird shot off the branch like a missile, but the gravity prevented it from leaving and was actually starting to get pulled back to the pulsating black orb. The falcon started to panic but once the falcon was within a foot of the gravity ball [Blink Strike] Soren teleported and wrapped both arms around the bird while stopping his gravity spell.
<[Blink Strike] Level up>
Soren quickly pressed his hand on the head of the falcon and a glowing purple sigil appeared.
'Alright! Finally a success," elated Soren.
"That's because you won my respect by catching me without harming me."
"I forgot we share a language and can communicate now, do you have a name?"
"I'm Tormak, I think you should know this ability stems off mutual benefit. Once I accepted this contract, in return for my service I gained the ability to augment my beak and claws with both your shadow magic and your lightning magic."
"I see, I'm glad you also got something out of this agreement. I'm Soren it's a pleasure to work with you."
Upon returning to the castle, which now had people actively working on its construction, Soren saw three people standing in a circle waiting for him. Three people, and one eight foot tall red tiger??!
