Skadi took a deep breath, 'Let's get started!' [Icy Road], using a new technique learned from the advanced tome she created a series of ramps and slopes, this allowed for high speed maneuverability as she was able to dodge and close the distance of snakes simultaneously. A large ball of fire took out a section of the ramp as the snake with red crystals closed its mouth ceasing the onslaught of fire. 'I'll have to get rid of the red ones first,' she thought. She flew down her icy road and leapt over the gap left by the intense fire as she beheaded the first snake with her axe. The snake fell to the ground, but even without a head, the red crystals imbedded into its scales still shined brightly. She focused on all the red gem snakes to keep her road from being melted. Luckily there were only four of these snakes, but now the other snakes were trying to hit her with their respective elements. She ducked a spit of acid from a light green gem snake and sliced the head of the last red one. Interrupting her momentum, she threw her axe into the one that spit acid and used her axe's unique ability to teleport to its location barely dodging out of the way of the lightning thrown at her. With her feet planted on the wall she launched off the side and cut the heads off of three additional snakes. Snakes in green, yellow, and clear were falling to ground as a blue gem snake shot out a stream of water that easily pierced the rock wall behind her. She froze the stream and in a fluid motion grabbed it and launched it like a spear into the snake that attacked her. She landed onto her icy road and skid to a halt on the mine floor breathing hard. Dodging and attacking simultaneously is tiring, but she had dwindled their numbers quite a bit. There were only a few more snakes remaining. One of the snakes had clear gems and launched a near invisible attack but she managed to dodge due to her [Danger Sense] ability. 'Those clear ones can use force??!' She prioritized finishing those off first because invisible attacks like those are annoying to keep track of. A few minutes later she was panting in the tripod position on the floor of the mine. 'That was difficult but most certainly exhilarating.'
After evolving the amount of experience she needed to level up was much greater, so she wasn't incredibly surprised she only leveled up twice from that encounter. She took out the special dimensional sack that Irene had leant her to gather the materials she required and a thought provoked her to remove all the gems from the snakes, 'Since they're still shining so brightly maybe the elemental magic these snakes were using can be reused somehow.' Skadi had gathered around forty gems of a mixture of red, blue, green, yellow and clear, then she collected the abundant ore around the first level of the mine. 'Time to make my way deeper into the mine, I almost have Irene's required amount.' The metal Irene has Skadi collecting is a unique compound recently discovered, the research for the metal has not been completed yet but with the compound being a mixture of both mithril and mercury it has incredible applications. They've named the metal Miriculum and it's now highly sought after, what blacksmith wouldn't want to work with new metals? Skadi proceeded deeper into the mine and did so cautiously, those snakes were tricky to deal with and there were a lot of them, if they are in greater numbers further in she'd have to leave until she found someone to assist her. She wound her way to the bottom of the mine with next to no resistance, but she found out why. At the bottom of the mine was a massive snake nearly two hundred feet in length and its body was equally as large as the snake could easily fit a horse drawn carriage between its rib cage. [Identify]
The snake was covered in the same type of gem stones but they were black, not having seen a black one before she was all the more cautious, but while inching closer to the giant snake she started to notice numerous rocks all around the cavern too numerous to avoid entirely. When one brushed up against her leg she bent down to get a better look and gasped. 'This is a crystal snake egg! There must be hundreds of them.' Once she got within a hundred feet of the snake the eggs were no longer littering the ground, and once she passed the seventy five foot marker the giant snake rose off the ground, its black gems turning red.

Soren's POV
A prompt that greeted both Soren and Tempest as they entered into a cave that descended underground. Underneath the mountain was a beautiful network of canals and waterfalls that cascaded into an area that looked like temple grounds. Blue Light filtered down like a chandelier from an enormous crystal giving you the feeling of being underwater. It was a huge underground city and you could see the water flow a certain direction as the current moved through the aqueducts between the buildings. The two of them continued on with caution since they did not know what to expect. Luckily the two of them had been cautious, as they crossed one particular bridge two giant lizardmen exploded out of the water drenching the two of them. There was one on either side of the bridge boxing them in, they were twelve feet tall as they appeared in a hunched over form. They each had long claws on their hands, razor sharp teeth with a mouth large enough to fit a deer inside, and spikes that went from the crown of their head to the tips of their tails. The tops of their head also had a reptilian style fin, the two lizardmen roared as they swiped their massive claws towards them. Soren ducked, while simultaneously taking out his sword slashed the inside of the lizardman's thigh, while Tempest who was not able to react as quickly quickly closed the gap between them blocking the clawed attack at the wrist before making a slash attack of her own using [partial transformation]. She made a deep gash on the chest of the lizardman who was not expecting an attack from someone without a weapon. That was the benefit to her lycanthrope kempo style is that she is able to use partial transformation to increase reach and make different attacks the opponent won't be prepared for. After making that attack Tempest was able to take out her dagger and jabbed into underneath the lizardman's chin causing it to fall limp. When she turned around she could see Soren stepping on the chest of the other lizardman for leverage to remove his blade from its chest.

Soren smiled to himself as he thought, 'This is a great place to grind some levels it looks like, let's see what I can find down here.' The lizardmen appeared to be naked and these two weren't carrying any weapons of any kind, but they were a humanoid race with intelligence. Soren surmised that they had a treasure trove somewhere within here that he would have to find. 'I'm starting to get that itch again, I am close to evolution, time to grind some levels,' Soren thought as two more lizardmen jumped out of the water each with a giant tooth axe in hand.
