With the Earthlings and the eternal dragon..
Krillin put his hand on his chin in a thinking pose and said, "OK guys. We got lucky, it worked and we still have one wish thanks to Porunga's generosity. We need to think carefully about how we use it.."
Just then the group jumped in collective surprise as Kakarot and the other saiyans crashed down close to their proximity. "G- Goku!" The bald monk stammered. "Perfect timing. We were just deciding what to do with the third wish. We brought Piccolo and kami back successfully and even got Piccolo to Namek but we uhh.. May have forgot to specify where on the planet we wanted him brought to ahaha.." He admitted sheepishly scratching his head.
The short man looked at the two damaged saiyans on the ground and the wounded Raditz. "Should we heal those guys? They look pretty beat up." Krillin questioned in concern.
However Kakarot shook his head in the negative and said, "No, I'll get these guys to the healing chambers. That wish may be our best hope of surviving this mess. And don't worry about Piccolo. I somehow get the sense that he's with Guru right now. If Porunga is anything like Shenron he does things deliberately." He figured.
Bulma stepped forward and raised an eyebrow at her husband. "Hey.. Wasn't that Ginyu guy with you?" She questioned suspiciously.
Kakarot blinked rapidly in shock before he frowned and scratched his head, an action which proved quite difficult with someone draped over his shoulder. "I umm.. don't really know. After I got the dragon ball I came straight here and then went off to help the others. I flew as fast as I could and he probably couldn't keep up now that I've gotten so strong.. To be honest I totally forgot about him.." He admitted guiltily.
Bulma knitted her brow in disdain but nodded reluctantly.
"It wouldn't surprise me if the bastard defected back to that tyrant, Frieza." The blue haired woman huffed, crossing her arms. Kakarot seemed contemplative for several moments before humming. "I honestly don't think he would do that. Call it a hunch." He said, looking seemingly at nothing in particular before his gaze refocused and he continued, "But anyways I have an idea on what to do with the last wish…" The man turned to look at Dende. "I'll tell you what I want. You let me know if it's possible, OK little guy?"
With captain Ginyu
Ginyu flew with a sense of urgency through the atmosphere of Namek. The problem was he knew he had to keep his power suppressed or the multitudes of soldiers that had begun to scour the planet would find him. "That damn saiyan." He scowled. "We were flying side by side when the battle between Vegeta and Frieza began. Once the saiyans transformed the blithering idiot began to panic and speed off. I couldn't keep up. After that ridiculous power up he's far too fast.. Gotta play it safe until I…"
"Well, well if it isn't Frieza's treacherous lap dog. I was looking for those blasted saiyans but I can make use of you, as well."
Ginyu seized, blood turning ice cold in his veins. His stomach dropped as despair filled his heart. He slowly turned to find Cooler, arms crossed, floating down to eye level behind him. The former captain of the Ginyu force swallowed hard, sweat causing his forehead to glisten.
"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." Cooler said with false concern. He chuckled as Ginyu straightened and came up with what was obviously a blatant lie.
"Cooler! I was uh.. just on my way to see your lord brother. those filthy bastard saiyans captured me but I got away when they attacked!" He claimed. "I was just on my way to deliver their loc-"
"Bah!" The lizard man scoffed, cutting the spiky headed alien off. "Do you take me for a fool? Frieza bugged your ship ages ago, Ginyu. He knows all about your little betrayal." He said matter of factly.
The former right hand of Frieza couldn't stop his eyes from widening in response. He chewed his lip and frowned. "Guess I may as well cut the shit then.. Just one question? Why are you working for Frieza? I never knew you two to be particularly.. close."
Cooler tisked and spit in the air. "I despise my idiot younger brother. He may have raw power but his lack of talent and control are disgraceful. He has no discipline. He will bring the empire to ruin before I come to rule it. Ultimately his arrogance will be his undoing."
Ginyu chuckled in response as the Arcrosian finished his explanation. "Oh I see now. You're in it all for yourself somehow. What's your endgame here?" The man squinted at the lizard-like being before him. He was well aware Cooler could kill him in an instant and Ginyu wouldn't even know he was dead.

"You should mind your business, curr. But I'll answer this one thing because you'll probably be dead soon enough. Call it an answer to your last request." He said, crossing his arms and closing his eyes.
He slowly opened them and gave the captain a menacing stare. "In ragards to you, I would normally let Frieza's messes bite him in the ass… But you see, its because of you that I'm here on this wretched planet to begin with. It's your fault I'm in this mess once again forced into accepting the constant belittling and mocking from my idiot family!" He spat bitterly. Then he schooled his features and narrowed his eyes.
"As for my end goal.. Once Frieza has been worn down by his enemies I'll finish him myself. I could do it on my own of course but I like to be as efficient as possible. Father still poses a problem but once I force the Namekians to give me these so-called dragon balls… Space is the limit, as they say." He said tapping his fingers against his arm.
"Ahh, I see. Typical egotistical maniac then. Think the universe owes you everything." Ginyu quipped. "You think the story is all about you and what you want."
Cooler shrugged. "Why wouldn't I?.. I'm the main character." He said cooly. They stared at each other for several intense seconds. "Change-!" Captain Ginyu began. Unfortunately for him Cooler disappeared in a flash step. Ginyu's eyes widened and before he could process what had happened the man felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck. His world went dark.
Grand Elder Guru's home..
"Ahhh so you are the youngest incarnation of Katas? I sense incredible power within you. And a pure soul. You bring great pride to the Namekian people, son of Katas." Guru nodded respectfully.
Piccolo couldn't help but wonder how he knew who people were with those closed eyes. Then again the guy somehow seemed to predict the future so perhaps something as simple as sight was trivial to him.
The Namekian who had spent the majority of his life on Earth looked up at the Grand elder and wondered just how long such an ancient being must have lived, and just how much knowledge he must possess. "Thank you sir.. I'm afraid it's not nearly enough." He said honestly. Guru smiled down at the man and chuckled.
"Do not sell yourself short, son. A great and mighty power dwells within you and your mind is strong and focused. Even still… The road ahead of you is far harder than you even know, young warrior.. I am truly sorry you must be the one to traverse such a difficult path. But I have faith in you. Alas life is not but the decisions we make with the hands which we have been dealt by the Gods. To aid you in your journey I will impart upon you great power and unlock the true might of the chosen one. I shall unlock your latent potential as I did young Nail here many years ago and much more recently for your saiyan friend, Goku."
Piccolo's eyes widened when the Elder mentioned that he had seen Goku. He resisted the urge to blurt out any one of the millions of questions that ran rampant through his mind just then. The Namekian had a strong feeling that he would need an open mind for whatever came next…
Roughly 5 minutes later, or the length of nine Japanese anime episodes, a flabbergasted Piccolo stood staring back and forth between his open palms.
A stale wind was dying down, clear evidence that the youngest Namekian had just undergone a drastic transformation. Guru huffed and wheezed, coughing harshly for several long, painful seconds. With each subsequent use of his powers the ancient being's lifeforce drained further.
Piccolo waited respectfully for the man's symptoms to subside and for a moment he feared they would not. Fortunately the Grand elder finally stopped coughing and began to catch his breath. He sat up and drank a long drink of cold water from an urn beside his throne.
"What now..?" Piccolo asked tentatively, as the man's pained posture semeed to relax somewhat. The Grand elder, who Piccolo had never once seen open his eyes, once more seemed to look right at him, peering into his very soul. "Now my child.. You shall merge with your brother, Nail here. And then bring me the one known as dende." He ordered.
"What!?"
"Outrageous!"
Piccolo and the warrior Nail screamed respectively. Piccolo was just about to ask what the old man was talking about when a seemingly more informed and clearly more passionate Nail interrupted him. The other Namekian stomped forward forcing Piccolo back a couple steps.
It was all the same to him; he didn't know what the hell was going on. As far as he knew only he and Kami could merge?
"Grand Elder.." Nail began, placing a palm on his open chest. "You can't.. It would be my honor to merge with this warrior at your command but you need me sir. Especially now. I can't just leave you like this, with enemies running amuck across our homeworld…" He pleaded. Guru for his part shook his head sadly.
"You have served me well my son. A father has never been more proud. I swear this on Porunga's name. But my time is over. They have made their final wish. After I speak with young Dende of the Dragon clan.. It will be time for this old soul to part from the mortal plane and move onward to otherworld." He sighed contentedly.
It was obvious there would be no more discussion about the subject, despite how badly Nail clearly wanted to protest.
The Namekian warrior had guarded the man all his live and he loved him deeply. Sucking in a breath the man opened his mouth as if to say something. He raised his finger in a pointed manner, like he intended to accuse the Elder of somehow being unfair for dying on him. But all at once the warrior's eyes widened and he let his arms fall, shoulders sagging in acceptance.
"So be it.. Father." The warrior said, clenching his fists so hard that he began to draw blood.
Nail walked over to Piccolo who opened his mouth but the bodyguard of Namek's oldest denizen raised a hand and cut him off. "I don't have time to explain. You'll understand fully after we have merged and become one. Place your hand on my chest, and I will handle the rest, great warrior." He instructed.
Nail was curt and to the point. His face was stony, even despite the intense emotions Piccolo sensed within the man's aura. This was a disciplined warrior who had served but one purpose all his life. To become as strong and skilled as he could to protect his ward.
Despite the fact that they may have come from the same planet the two could not have had more different origins. Yet there was a great respect between them and an understanding.
Piccolo nodded reluctantly and did as he was asked. With a shaky breath he did his best to relax his mind once more. There was a blinding, blue light and Nail was lit up as if he had been doused in kerosene and set ablaze. However rather than any sort of pain his expression was one of peace and tranquility. As if he had finally found his place in the universe.
Piccolo's eyes widened as the fiery energy intensified, seeming to dissolve Nail entirely and travel into the body of Piccolo. The energy coated Piccolo much the same way it did his fellow Namekian, but while the energy had dissolved Nail's organic matter, it instead began to reconstruct and strengthen Piccolo's DNA. His power rose rapidly as his body was transformed on a cellular level. He somehow instinctively knew that even his metabolism would be increased, further amplifying his natural regenerations.
Not only that but his mind was enhanced as well as he could feel the knowledge, power and experiences of the devoured warrior flowing into him. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yeeees! With this power I can defeat Frieza, I can win!" He roared in pure ecstasy. 'Easy there big guy, don't get power drunk. We need to rein this in.'
Piccolo gasped as he realized with a start that on some spiritual level Nail still existed and always would as a part of him. They would always be one but they could communicate and think as two separate entities if need be. 'That's right big guy can't get rid of me that easy. But don't worry for the most part I'll just be a remnant of a soul in the deep dark recesses of your mind until you need me.'
"Thank you for this.." Piccolo said out loud. "Both of you."
