Kakarot and Raditz shared a look of dread. The eldest of the two saiyans knew the moment that he felt Turles's Ki spiking that something was off. There was no way it was simply coincidence that the Earthlings' battle with the Ginyu force happened at the exact same point in time.
For one thing the occurrences were in completely opposite directions. It felt like Turles was.. fighting Nappa.. Raditz shook his head trying to make sense of it all. Beside him his brother looked wild eyed and pale.
He knew instinctively the man was thinking primarily of his wife and son at that very moment. But he must have also felt how outclassed his friends were and it would haunt him forever if he turned his back on them.
"Kakarot." The eldest brother began. The saiyan from Earth raised an eyebrow at the curious tone the eldest son of Bardock used. If he didn't know any better he would think it almost sounded compassionate.. "Listen, I know you're worried about your wife and son. I'll go help the Earthlings. You go protect your family. You're a good man, Kakarot. Just like our father was. I'm proud of you." He said with a soft smile.
Kakarot was stunned, his mouth fumbling for words. "Raditz.." He exhaled. Unfortunately that was the only response he'd been able to formulate before his brother laughed and winked before turning around and flying off at speeds so fast he broke the sound barrier several times over.
Kakarot shook his head to regain his bearings and turned back towards where he faintly felt the Ki signature of his son flare up briefly before going back out. He sucked in a breath. 'Please be OK, Gohan! Bulma!' With that he wasted no further time powering up and blasting off towards his intended destination with an intense 'boom'.
He flew so fast his vision began to tunnel and blur. The air around him rippled and waved as he bisected it, making it look as if reality itself was made out of some kind of liquid glass. No force in nature would have stopped the saiyan as he cleared well over half the planet's surface within a minute's time. Only by sheer instinct and skill was he able to slam to a skidding halt in the middle of a ruined and smoking city at the exact place he had last felt his son's energy signature..
He scanned around quickly but it didn't take him long to find what he was looking for. "Bulma!" The man yelled, running over to the downed form of his blue haired wife. She was lying unconscious on her back and her head was bleeding but she was alive. He frantically scrutinized her body with both his eyes and Ki control to try and ascertain the damage. He breathed a sigh of relief when he determined that whatever had happened to her, it shouldn't prove fatal.
His relief was short-lived however as he realized he still needed to find Gohan. Knowing she was OK for now, he kissed his wife's head and stood up, cupping his mouth and calling out into the burning city, "Gohaaaaan!"
A few moments later he heard an evil laugh cut through the air above him. He looked up, placing a hand over his eyes to block out the sun as the shadowy silhouette of what he could have sworn was a purple man with spikes sticking out of his head descended. His skillful assessment was proven mostly accurate as the captain of the Ginyu force himself landed in front of the saiyan, hands placed on his hips.
Goku raised his hand and snarled. "You monster! What did you do to my son? I know you have him so don't even try to play games. Answer me!" He roared, flailing his transparent Ki. The captain smirked and crossed his arms. "Never seen such a pure aura before.. and his power level was completely suppressed until just now… 100,000?? I'll have to be careful with this one." Ginyu whistled lowley.
"What are you mumbling about? Are we gonna stand around all day or are we gonna fight!?" Kakarot demanded.
At this Ginyu couldn't help but to laugh and facepalm himself. "Ahahaha! You saiyans are all the same. I, the great Captain Ginyu will indeed, be your opponent. As for your little boy.. don't worry, he's safe. I'm not the type that harms little kids if it can be helped. I'm just looking to have a little fun with you apes, that's all." The purple alien said with a haughty attitude.
Kakarot for his part took a deep breath in and then exhaled outward slowly in relief. He detected no lies or deceit when the man had told him that he had no intention of harming his son.
Even still his boy wouldn't truly be safe until he was back in his father's arms and he was also willing to bet this asshole was responsible for hurting his wife. There was only one way this could end. Kakarot slid into a stance and narrowed his eyes.
"No more words. Let's do this." He said bending one knee and preparing to teach this man a lesson about endangering a father's children.
Ginyu cracked his neck and smiled before flexing and bringing up his hands in a fighting pose of his own. "Do let's, Saiayn. Aahaha!"
With the Z warriors..
Piccolo panted heavily as he stared at the goofy smiling face of his childish opponent. 'How could I be losing.. to this big dumb idiot..' He thought between huffs. Recoome stood several yards in front of him with most of his armor destroyed and a few teeth missing. The man was covered in cuts but if he felt it he didn't seem to care.

Currently all three of the Piccolos were on the battlefield fighting the man fist to fist, or at least attempting to.
He had tried using his sniping tactic at first but unlike Turles's group that they had fought on that dying planet three months ago, these warriors were a team that had trained and fought together through years of blood, sweat and tears.
While talented, the Earthlings just couldn't compete with the synergy and superior power levels of the Ginyu force.
For the last three minutes or so, Piccolo had been fighting this brutish oaf and the battle had been growing more intense by the minute, but Piccolo wouldn't last much longer and the man before him was like an impenetrable tank. All he could do was scratch the surface..
'Maybe it's time… we use out trump card..' The Namekian thought in desperation. All three of the Piccolos yelled before their antennas flickered forward. All at once six bolts of lighting arched out and hit the ugly Recoome. He yelled out as he was momentarily tazed by the attack, muscles seizing uncontrollably.
Piccolo tried to create some distance and sent out a psychic message to Tien using telepathy. 'I think it's about time we brought out a monster of our own isn't it? I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up..'
The bald headed man's reply came back just as exhausted and disgruntled as Piccolo was sure he probably sounded. 'We were really hoping we wouldn't have to use it.. There's a few of them and their teamwork is good.. If she's in that form too long..'
Piccolo nodded his physical head. This time he spoke out loud, mostly to himself. "Beyond that.. We still don't know if any of these guys have any kind of secret or ultimate abilities.."
The green man sighed tiredly as the seething hulk that was the Ginyu force's second strongest member fixed him with a murderous glare. "Hey! That really hurt. Now I'm gonna make you pay… Gah! " He was interpreted by an arm through his gut, causing him to cough out blood.
"Wha.. How!?" He winced, as blood ran down the sides of his mouth. He looked down at the appendage protruding from his stomach. It was slender and had a deep crimson aura covering it. "That's embarrassing!" He cried as Chi Chi yelled and kicked the man away causing him to crash into a pile of rocks. "You OK Piccolo?" She asked determinedly. The Namekian paled and nodded vehemothly.
He scratched the back of his head sheepishly and coughed. "Yeah ahem.. sorry.." She smirked at him and shrugged. "Don't mention it., Chiaotzu and krillin are down but still alive. Let's get these assoles." She said with a confident smirk. The Namekian grinned, nodding in reply.
The two of them turned towards where Yamcha and Tien were valiantly fighting against the combined might of a transformed Zarbon and a ruthless Dodoria. The tag team of Burter and Jeice had more or less been long range support the whole fight, stopping the Z-warriors from committing any shenanigans like Piccolo's sniper.
In an instant Chi Chi blitzed the duo who were hovering a few dozen meters away in the air. "Impossible…!" Jeice stammered. Beside him Burter bristled. "But I'm.. The fastest in the universe!" He insisted. Chi Chi frowned at the man. "In what universe?" She asked sarcastically, raising her hands and vaporizing the two in an instant.
Already beginning to sweat, she turned in the air to locate her next two targets. 'The higher my power level gets.. The more this technique takes out of me *huff* *huff*.. Gotta train my stamina more after this…' She thought to herself.
She narrowed her eyes in determination and yelled as she rushed at Zarbon and Dodoria just as they were about to deliver what would probably have been a fatal blow to a downed Tien.
She appeared in between the trio just in time to catch the fists of the pink and blue aliens. Their eyes widened in simultaneous stunned disbelief. "That's not fair!" Zarbon yelled. Chi Chi grunted and crouched slightly. "Suck it up, buttercup light isn't fair. Luckily for you two it's over!" She yelled as she launched the two upward with one momentum heave.
They screamed as they flew higher and higher into the atmosphere. Chi Chi pulled back her hands snd cupped them together. Her allies shared a worried look, as it was clear the ox princess was already running low on Ki. Nevertheless they remained silent as the woman began to shine with a bright azure light.
"Kamehameha!" She yelled, thrusting her palms forward and unleashing a devastating blast which arched upward through the air. Frieza's bodyguards screamed any number of indiscernible profanities before they were blown to smithereens by the human's potent energies.
In the wake of her attack Chi Chi was left panting and exhausted. She looked like a diabetic on the verge of going DKA.
With a huff she went to deactivate her skill when suddenly her body froze.. "Wh.. What!?.." She stammered. Out of the corner of her eyes she looked worriedly over at the bandit, Yamaha. He and Tien were both exhausted to the point they could no longer fight but they were still conscious, and staring at her in concern.
"I can't move! I can't turn my powers off!" She panicked.
Yamcha's eyes widened and he scrambled to his feet, rushing over to his girlfriend. "Hold on! Hnn, arggg, heeeeh!" He heaved and pushed with all his might but surely as the sky was blue, Chi Chi was locked into place by some unseen force.
She looked at him with increasingly desperate eyes as her very own Ki continued to burn through her body. "Y.. Yamcha!" She pleaded.
He looked on with helpless, wide eyes as his girlfriend's cries of discontent turned to anguished whimpers. "What..!?" He looked frantically from side to side until he located the source of her current ailment.. several meters away was a smirking Guildo. "You forgot about me! How dare you do this to the Ginyu force!?.. I'll kill you all dead!" He savagely barked, spit flying from his mouth.
Yamcha's eyes narrowed. "Why you..! Wolf Fang fist!" He roared, launching forward toward the green alien who laughed as if he knew something the bandit didn't..
"Yamcha, No!"
He heard Piccolo's warning and turned as best he could but there was no real way for him to react mid-air as a heavily damaged but still very much alive Recoome intercepted his assault with a tree trunk of a knee to the bandit's gut. He gasped in pain and was sent flying off into the distance where he impacted a huge rock and was subsequently buried underneath the rubble.
"N.. No!" Chi Chi winced. Unfortunately it was really hard to worry about the state of her loved ones when she currently felt like her insides were on the verge of melting right out of her. Blood began to leak from her nose and ears. "I.. I can't..' She cried. Piccolo for his part rushed as quickly towards the woman as he could but just as he expected the hulking Recoome cut him off.
The ginger headed man had a massive hole in his gut and Piccolo wasn't sure how he was even still alive but it seemed the brute's abnormally large body was a great deal more durable than that of the average person's. "Give me a break.." The green man huffed.
Recoome for his part looked like he was long past the point of kidding around anymore.
"You're dead, little man." The Ginyu force member promised. Piccolo gulped, turning an altogether lighter shade of green. 'Where's a saiyan when you need one..?'
"Hey assholes!"
'Oh thank fucking Kami.' Piccolo visibly exhaled in relief.
Everyone present turned to see Raditz speeding through the air faster than a bullet. "Why don't you try this on for size? Double Sunday!" He roared, splitting his signature technique in half. With his left hand he thrust part of his beam at Guildo who gasped before a large explosion engulfed him.
Chi Chi's eyelids fluttered as her ability dispersed at last. She hit the ground unconscious. At this point the only remaining warriors of the resistance still standing were Raditz and Piccolo as Tien too had passed out from exhaustion during all the commotion.
With his other hand the saiyan had sent the remainder of his energy towards Recoome; the last remaining member. Of course, at only half strength it wasn't enough to finish him off, but it did have the intended effect of forcing him to jump away right before he finished Piccolo, lest he take massive damage in kind.
Raditz crossed his arms at Recoome who stared dumbly at the saiyan. "Heyyy. Don't I know you?" He asked, scratching his head. "Yeahh you're that Raditz fellow always following that twerp, Vegeta." He nodded, satisfied with himself.
Raditz smirked and raised his arms in a manner that was similar to a boxer. He slid his left leg forward and bent his knees. "Oh I assure you, Recoome. You know nothing, about me."
