Recoome blasted forward at what Raditz was sure the man probably thought was incredible speed.
The long haired saiyan grinned internally while keeping his features cool. 'To be fair, if this had been the same me from my days in the Frieza force…' He thought.
But it wasn't him from the Frieza force. He was a man who stood far above what was originally believed to be possible for saiyans, barring resorting to the great ape transformation.
"Die!" Recoome yelled as he drew near to the spiky haired man. "You first!" Raditz scoffed.
The charging behemoth couldn't react as the saiyan he thought would be an easy kill whipped out a leg in a lightning fast kick to the man's chest. "So faaaaaast!~..." He yelled as he was carried off several meters before crashing into a building with a resounding thud.
"Idiot." Raditz muttered as he shook his head and turned to look at the downed Namekian. "I'm sorry.." He trailed off, unsure how to finish. Piccolo waved him away. "We were careless. We should have stayed together like your brother said." He refuted as his two clones came over and reunited with the original to become one.
He sighed contentedly as he was able to heal a little from the re-merging process.
Raditz nodded solemnly in agreement. "Somehow.. I think Kakarot foresaw all of this..." He said. The bulky, muscular warrior opened his mouth to say more but he was cut off by Recoome's Ki exploding outward as he charged forth once more.
Raditz raised an eyebrow. "Jesus. He's persistent, gotta give him that. But the big idiot doesn't know when to give up!"
Recoome opened his mouth and launched a malicious blast of Ki at the man. With a huff he batted the attack aside with ease. 'The man's attacks pack a punch that's for sure, but there's very little skill behind them.' He analyzed as he yelled and brought his fist down to punch the ground.
The effect of this action wasn't immediately obvious but a few moments later it became apparent.
The momentum of his strike traveled through the ground via fine Ki control causing a massive chunk of pavement from the city street to launch upwards and impact the Goliath in the stomach. He doubled over and rolled several times as he barreled forward through the air.
Raditz disappeared and reappeared in a blur intercepting the man's path. "Hiya!" He yelled, as he punched the man repeatedly even while the damaged warrior flew uncontrollably through the air. The giant's body carved a large crater in the ground leaving a trail of blood as they passed.
"Learn your lesson yet? Nobody looks down on us saiyans!" Raditz warned as he ended his brutal barrage by grabbing the larger man by his throat and flying upward for several dozen meters before reversing his course and diving at the ground. He waited until he reached near terminal velocity before yelling and tossing the helpless man with deadly force.
'Boom!'
A crater at least fifty feet across and twice as deep was formed by the oaf's body as he impacted the ground. Raditz levitated down at a leisurely pace. He landed gently next to the astonished Piccolo, who could never get over just how rapidly the saiyans' power levels always seemed to grow
"I'm amazed that you guys lasted so long against the Ginyu force. That's no small feat I hope you know. You should all be really proud of how far you've come." Raditz praised sincerely. Piccolo's eyes widened briefly and he looked away rubbing the back of his head and sporting a small blush. "Yeah well.. even I can't keep up with you damn saiyans. This is ridiculous. Hard to feel like we're of any real value here."
Raditz gave his brother's rival an odd look before he chuckled. "Is that what you think?.." The man asked as he began to walk forward. Somehow Recoome was stumbling out of that crater he'd made and he looked like he still wanted to fight..
Raditz finished his verbal thoughts without even looking back but Piccolo heard the man nonetheless thanks to his abnormally sharp hearing on account of his Namekian biology.
"... Without all of you my brother never would have found the strength to bring us this far. Surely even you can see that you Earthlings are the reason he fights. And of course.. It's because of him that all of us, even prince Vegeta, have changed so drastically. That's his real power. The power of endless hope and light." He laughed.
Across from him, Recoome's power spiked dangerously. "Youuu! You do well, heh heh. You do weeeell.." the man huffed. "But it's time to end this! I'm gonna blow you away with my strongest attack!" The man boasted as his power continued gathering and forming around him.
Raditz for his part set his feet and smirked. "I was literally just thinking the same thing. I'd say great minds think alike but you're obviously a dumb ass." He mocked.
Recoome's face went redder than his hair and the large beast of a man sucked in a massive breath as he raised his arms in an O and brought his left knee up to his chest. "Recooooome…!" Pink particles of energy began to rapidly accumulate in the man's open mouth as he continued to push his power even higher, to the point that it matched Raditz's own.
The saiyan narrowed his eyes, rolling his arms and clicking his tongue. "Heh.. You're impressive. I'll admit it. It seems the Ginyu force was considered the strongest group of warriors in the universe for a reason. But you're leaving yourself wide open, I'll finish you now! Finaaaaal!..." He drew back both arms in a pose that was distinctly different from his other signature attack.

A brilliant golden energy began to gather in each of his palms. "Saturda-..." Raditz paused, eyes widening in shock. He turned to focus on some far off, unseen destination.
The ongoing battle between Nappa and Turles…
Nappa huffed and wiped away a string of blood and drool from his face. His armor had been completely destroyed leaving his bare torso and legs showing. The man had more or less served as a punching bag for Turles for the last 5 minutes of the 'battle.' Nappa growled in anger.
In truth Turles hadn't even really been paying attention their entire fight. He had been toying with Nappa, trying to goad Vegeta into a duel with him, and that was what really pissed the general off.
That he, the fearsome elite commander of the saiyans, would be so casually disregarded by one of their own.. It made his blood boil. Still.. What could he do?.. Between heavy pants he looked up at Turles who was busy yelling at Vegeta. He was simply too far outclassed here..
Up in the air Turles scoffed. "Really? The great and mighty prince Vegeta hiding behind his dog!? He's not even half my power level. I could kill him in an instant if I chose, do you even care!?" At this point it was clear the saiyan prince had had enough of Turles's taunting. He was ready to see blood, whether it was his or his enemies.
However, just as he stepped forward to fight, Nappa's voice cut through the air. "Hold, it right there Vegeta!" The commander… Commanded. Vegeta's eyes widened. "Nappa!.. I can't just let him.." He meant to continue but the largest of the three saiyans cut him off. "Would you dare to insult my resolve? I'm a saiyan elite! I finish my battles! I don't retreat and I don't ask for help. Understand?"
Vegeta nodded numbly as the man finished his compelling argument. He growled slightly before crossing his arms and looking towards the ground. "Your saiyan pride burns brightly. Do as you must.." He finished reluctantly.
Nappa smirked as Turles rounded on him. "What exactly.." The space pirate began. ".. Do you, of all people, intend to do to me? Even with your little 'battle spirit.' " He said, making quotes with his hand. "You're literally nothing to me." He laughed.
However he stopped after a few moments as he noticed the bald man showed no reaction to his words at all. He simply continued to smirk at the floating saiyan.
"What the hell is so Goddamn funny!?" He demanded. Nappa for his part relaxed his posture and rolled his large shoulders. "I just figured out your weakness. Well I guess I already knew that. To be more specific I figured out how to beat you, using that weakness." He answered truthfully.
A look of disgust overcame the saiyan's features as he clearly took massive offense to what he'd heard. "Oh really? What's my weakness then, oh great and wise, old man?" His tone was sarcastic, words laced with venom.
"The very same thing that kept you from ever truly becoming an elite. The reason you were exiled and became a pirate. That's right I know the real truth, Turles. You've always had power comparable to the best but.. No self control." He said matter of factly. The whites of his opponent's eyes visibly widened even from so far away.
A second later Vegeta's eyes widened too as Nappa raised his right hand and in his open palm he produced a brilliant ball of intense white light.
"You can't!" The prince exclaimed, but the saiyan commander ignored him. Turles looked confusedly back and forth between the two trying to discern the exact nature of the attack Nappa was planning to use to supposedly beat him.
"You know.." Nappa said. "This technique was actually invented by Kakarot's father, Bardock. It's extremely taxing to use so we only do it as a last resort. It's called the power ball." He said matter of factly.
He heard Turles call back 'Irrelevant!' Or something to that effect.
Nappa chuckled. "Clearly you don't know. Allow me to show you!" He yelled, throwing the small ball up into the air. He raised his right hand. "Power ball explode!" He Commanded and the energy conceded..
A few seconds later a gargantuan, artificial moon hung in the sky above the three siayans. It probably wasn't large enough to be seen by the other saiyans who were practically on the other half of the planet, but it was more than enough blutz waves for the three saiyans present.
Turles's eyes widened as he began to feel the effects of the blutz waves entering his blood stream. He gasped in delight as energy began to flood him. He looked down at his forearms and clenched his fists. "Ahaha! Yeees! What have you done, you imbecile!?" He floated down to the ground as his heart began to beat harder and faster, his muscles beginning to swell and bulge with excess energy.
Vegeta for his part snarled as he too reached the prerequisite amount of moonlight to transform. Honestly he could have resisted the change entirely at such low levels of blutz waves, if he wanted to. However doing so would leave himself severely outclassed to a point his pride just wouldn't allow.
He looked over at Nappa. 'I see your ploy.. Turles never became an official elite so he was never trained on how to properly control the oozaru transformation. As a great ape he'll be fighting like a mindless savage with none of his usual techniques or skill. You better hope it's enough..' He thought as the transformation took control of his DNA and began to accelerate rapidly.
Nappa had the element of surprise on Turles. Add that to the fact that he had transformed more times throughout his long life than the two other saiyans combined, and it was no wonder he was the first to finish his transformation. He roared and pounded his chest wasting no time charging over at the still transforming Turles.
With a swift but brutal drop kick he impacted the chest of the rapidly growing space pirate sending him careening away through the air.
Nappa howled and pounded his chest once more. An electrical aura burst to life around him as he activated his Battle spirit ability. His power level shot up from 800k to over a million. Turles ripped himself from the trench he was in and roared, a massive Ki aura flaring to life around him. He fixed the transformed Nappa with a glare and began picking up the rubble he had been buried in from his landing.
With an unintelligible scream of rage he began chucking the house sized rocks at the other saiyan. Nappa huffed and puffed his chest swelling and deflating caused a deafening rumble. He focused and his energy spiked even further.
The aura of golden lighting around him became akin to a dense, layered cage. The rocks Turles had thrown slammed against his Aura and were reduced to atoms by the man's potent energy.
Of course, even without his logical thinking skills, Turles knew the best course of action would be for him to follow up his barrage by closing the distance between them and that's exactly what he did.
Once the last rock was destroyed it revealed a rampaging Turtles charging at Nappa with a fist drawn back. The older saiyan's eyes widened in shock and he was unable to react as he was struck once in the face and then twice in the body.
"Roaaaaaar!" Turles screamed in the dazed warrior's face. He uppercutted the larger saiyan so hard that the great ape's fest actually left the ground by a few dozen meters. He landed on his back and Turles began to dance and sing in premature celebration of his victory.
"Vegeta get out of here!" A dazed Nappa demanded from his position on the ground. Turles turned towards the downed ape and cocked his head to the side in confusion. In his savage state the man couldn't make any sense of the Nappa's warning, or how he was even still breathing for that matter. However, the saiyan prince who was in full control of himself, didn't have that problem.
His eyes widened only briefly before he turned and flew away as fast as he could, blue Ki flaring around his hulking form. Of course due to his sheer bulk and being two stories in size, his speed was severely reduced but he was still rather fast.
Turles turned, intending to pursue the fleeing saiyan prince, as all he saw in his primal state was a game of cat in mouse. From his downed position Nappa opened his maw and roared, releasing a Ki blast that knocked the unsuspecting Turles off balance.
The furry, transformed saiyan pirate screamed a guttural scream and failed his arms uselessly as he fell. The beast landed with a resounding thud that left a crater in the shape of his body.
By this point in time Nappa had vanished and reappeared a football field's length away. He yelled as he began to push his power to its absolute limit. "Take this! Rahhhh!" The brute raised his right hand, two fingers pointed to the sky. Turles had managed to bring himself up to one knee. He shook his head and growled, fury coursing through him and causing his fur to bristle.
He looked up at the smirking Nappa over 100 yards away and prepared to unleash his anger upon the man. He paused, however, feeling mystified as the ground beneath his feet began to shine a dazzling golden light.
Had the man any semblance of control over himself in the moment he would have probably had the common sense to recognize that this was a potential attack from his opponent and the man would have had ample time to put up a reasonable defense or simply fly out of harm's way.
As it were he was caught entirely unguarded in the colossal explosion that followed. The planet was rocked to its very core, the outer edge of the outpost being reduced to something similar to the impact zone of an atomic bomb. The blast could be seen and sensed for miles…
