Namek
Namek was a beautiful, emerald green planet that was relatively close in size to the Earth. It was located in the Northern quadrant only 50 light years away from the Earth itself. Of course 50 light years may seem like a lot relative to some, but compared to the vastness of the entire known universe it was less than a speck of dust on a telescope lens.
The resistance's ship touched down without fanfare and the group quickly decorated the ship, making sure to Camouflage it using the surroundings as best they could. Given the fact that the ship was the size of a small mountain that was easier said than done, but they eventually made due, tucking it between some unassuming hills and abnormal arrangement of trees called Ajisa.
The group met in front of the ship roughly ten minutes after landing. The atmosphere here was warm, refreshing and more clean than any planet the group had visited thus far. Namek was a planet entirely devoid of mortals minus a few small villages, their pets and an occasional frog/fish. This in turn meant there was no pollution and the planet was vibrant and teeming with nature.
Kakarot stepped forward to direct the group. Taking in a deep breath he began by saying, "All right gang we don't have long. Team one will consist of Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha and Tien. You guys will go to the various Namekian villages and try to gather information about the Dragon Balls. Be quick and direct, but above all be polite, OK? Remember we're aliens to them, our presence here could be incredibly unnerving to the Namekian peoples. We need to assure them we mean no harm."
The team echoed their agreement and after various goodbyes they flew off as one collective group. After they departed, Kakarot turned his attention towards the four other saiyans present. "Alright you guys.. Inarguably you have the most difficult task of all.. It's also the most important. Do whatever you can to hold that monster off but if you have to…" He said, narrowing his eyes. "Get out of there. Don't needlessly throw away your lives, we'll find another way but you can't continue the fight if you're dead." He advised them seriously.
"Save the pep talk, pussy." Turles smirked, crossing his arms. The other assembled warriors, including Kakarot, chuckled. "Just be safe. And as promised the last wish is yours. No judgment on my part with what you do with it." He said honestly.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "And what if we die?" He demanded simply.
Everyone looked at him in shock, surprised by the shortest saiyans bluntness. "What I mean is.. Will you bring us back and still let us have a wish you weasley bastard, or are you hoping Frieza takes us all out so you can have it all for yourself?" He grinned at Kakarot. The man frowned for several seconds before he laughed good naturedly.
"Hahaha, if it comes down to that you have my word on my honor as a saiyan that I'll bring you back and then let you have a wish. I'll even gather the dragon balls personally when they reactivate in a year." He joked. "But trust me I don't think it'll come to that.. I have a strong feeling things are gonna go differently. Have a little faith. We've all come incredibly far." The man said, scratching the back of his head and then looking into everyone's eyes.
Vegeta huffed and turned slightly. "I hope you're right, clown. I'mnot so sure.." He said before gesturing for the others to follow. "Come on!" He barked before flying up over the rocky hills covering their ship.
Raditz took a few steps but stopped and regarded his brother with a look.
The Earth raised saiyan grinned cheekily and waved. "Good luck, Raditz. You better be safe." Kakarot said with optimism.
The older son of Bardock huffed before chuckling and smiled at the man. "You be careful little brother. For whatever reason.. I have a bad feeling about all this. Like we're walking right into a trap." He said. They hugged briefly before Raditz bounded off through the air in chase of the others.
All that was left were Captain Ginyu and Kakarot. The saiyan looked at the purple alien who met his gaze with an unwavering stare of his own. "Well saiyan.. What now?" Ginyu inquired with a raised eyebrow.
Kakarot regarded the man coolly. "I don't know why you chose to help us and quite frankly you saying Gohan's safety is your first priority is fucking weird. I don't trust you at all still. Fortunately for you, protecting him is my number one priority as well and I need all the help I can get this time.. Your abilities may just save our asses if things get messy."

Ginyu frowned at the man but said nothing so Kakarot continued. "I know you think you'd be better off with the saiyans and you're probably right about that but.. I just don't know. I have a peculiar feeling that something else is out there.. Something besides Frieza."
Ginyu's eyes widened. "Like what? And what the fuck do you need me for? Cannon fodder?" He asked incredulously.
Kakarot chuckled and smirked suggestively at him. "I don't really know. Maybe. But as much as I relish the thought.. No. You're strong. I need you to find my wife and son if things go horribly wrong with the plan." Ginyu's surprise shone in his eyes.
The saiyan really must have been on edge if he were desperate enough to make such a request from Ginyu of all people. "Whatever saiyan. Which way do we go from here?" He asked in disdain. Kakarot turned and pointed to some far off unforeseen destination. "Towards the highest Namkeian power level. That's where the elder and his bodyguard will be." With a nod they took off in a burst of speed.
With the Z-warriors.
In order to cover more ground the Earthlings had split up into multiple smaller groups. Krillin, Bulma and Gohan all went together in one group, and took 2 of the saibamen soldier seeds for insurance. Chi Chi and Yamcha made up another group and they took 3 of the little green seeds. The last group, which also took the last three seeds, was composed of Tien and Chiaotzu.
Searching an entire planet likely would have taken the group weeks to find the Dragon Balls because Bulma hadn't thought to bring a Dragon radar. As it stood they were exceedingly lucky to have gotten advice from their dead Namekian friends via Cosmic telepathy.. he had advised them to head towards six very specific clusters of high power levels. Naturally, the village elders would be in charge of guarding the balls, since they were the only ones who could use them.
Within an hour the individual groups had all arrived at separate villages, communicating via their watches.
"Alright guys, sounds good. Be safe. Krilin out." The short, bald monk said while pressing a button on his watch to end the three way transmission. He turned to look at Bulma and a smiling Gohan. "Well.. let's go introduce ourselves shall we?" He chuckled nervously.
His two allies nodded and laughed lightly in response as they strode anxiously into the Namekian village.
As one might expect they were greeted with a wide range of gawks and open mouthed stares immediately upon entering the tranquil village. The group made sure to walk deliberately and keep their hands in plain sight.
They decided the entirety of the village couldn't have held more than fifty people as they made their way to the center of the area. Quite frankly it didn't feel as if anyone here would be capable of defending themselves from the Earthlings even, let alone Frieza.
Though they continued receiving numerous glances and stares, they had the good fortune of no one impeding their path so they took that as a good sign.
Once at the center of the village they located the largest Namekian housing unit, which looked like a strange cross between a cocoon and a beetle. In terms of color it was pretty basic, being entirely white on the outside with green windows. From what they understood this was the home of the Namekian elder. They stopped and waited in front of the structure and wondered what to do next.
Gohan looked up at his mom and buddy. "So uh.. what do we do? Knock or something?" He asked innocently. Krillin scratched his head awkwardly and Bulma shrugged. "Good question, son."
The group was beginning to grow a uncomfortable as quite a large crowd had gathered around them at this point.
Still, they didn't sense any hostility from the green creatures who all looked like Piccolo's of various ages, shapes and sizes. The one thing that was always the same was the color, although the older Namekians tended to be a darker shade of green than the younger ones.
For the most part, all they sensed from the creature's was curiosity.
Bulma was just about to step forward and introduce herself when the door to the elders home opened. "Oh?" The blue haired Earthling raised a hand to her mouth in surprise and they each took a step back.
From inside the unlit building they heard a gruff, wizened voice. "It's been a long time since we've had visitors to our humble planet. State your business here. And don't bother lying. I'll know if you do."
As the stout green man finished speaking he and three young Namekians stepped forth from the shadows. Bulma raised her hands in defense and answered quickly. "We mean you no harm. We need your help."
The man eyed the three wearily. "What could you, creatures possibly need help from us Namekians for?" He asked with narrowed eyes.
This time it was Krillin who spoke up in his friend's aide. "Look I know this is a lot to believe but we were actually sent here by two namekians that we knew from our home planet, Earth. Their names are kami and piccolo.. Eh?" The short monk was cut off, eyes widening as the elder stepped forward and growled suspiciously.
"Bullshit!"
The two Earthlings and the half saiyan blinked rapidly, being taken aback by the usually calm and stoic man's outburst. "No such Namkeians exist by that name. I'm elder Moori and I am next in line to become Grand Elder of our villages. I know everyone." He said pointedly.
"That's because they were originally named… Katas. They were once one in the same.." Gohan said quietly from behind his mom and best friend. His head was down slightly so that his hair cast shadows over his eyes. The elder gasped at the boy. "Im.. Impossible." He muttered. "You know about the chosen one?.." He asked in disbelief.
Gohan nodded and looked up at the elder. Krillin and Bulma shared an equally mystified look as the boy continued. "Katas was the only Namekian to have ever fully mastered both the Dragon clan and the warrior clan's ancient techniques. Mr Piccolo taught me that.."
The elder scanned them all once more, this time more closely and with Judgment less clouded by fear. "Hmm.. Come inside. We have much to discuss." He decided, turning and waving over his shoulder. As they made their way inside, the smallest of the Namekian youths tugged on Gohan's wrist band, surprising the halfbreed.
He looked down and the small green child smiled brightly at him. "Hi! Will you tell me more? About Katas? Pleeeease?" The boy begged. Gohan laughed merrily and nodded. "Of course! My name's Gohan, what's yours?" He asked, now in a cheerful mood.
The boy that couldn't have been more than 3 feet tall jumped up and down excitedly. The child's antics remind Gohan of himself in easier, more carefree times. The young Namekian finally settled down enough to answer Gohan's question, holding the older boy's hand as they walked inside. "I'm Dende!"
