"You can do it goku!"
"Yeahhh!"
"Cmon do it goku, beat the bad guy!"
Across from one another atop Kami's lookout, Raditz and Kakarot squared off. Raditz smirked at his younger brother as he watched him discard his weighted clothing. "Aww hear that? Your cheerleader squad is rooting for you!" He mocked. A massive tick mark appeared on Kakarot's head and he had to take a deep, steadying breath. 'He's just trying to get under your skin.. Remember Your training. '
There was a deep, gruff grunt, "Hey.. Goku." This time Kakarot did turn to address the source of the voice because surprisingly it had belonged to Piccolo of all people. He crossed his arms and turned his head. "Even I'm starting to not like this guy. Kick his ass." The aforementioned Goku nodded and laughed. "Haha, Right. Will do Piccolo!" Now feeling a great deal better he was able to clear his mind and focus as the battle prepared to get under way.
Raditz reached into his suit and pulled out a scouter, placing it on his left eye and clicking a button. Having never seen such a device before Kakrot regarded him warily. The Earth raised Saiyan was a fairly intelligent man and was married to arguably the smartest woman in the world so he was quickly able to deduce the fancy eyewear's basic functions. There was a series of beeps and clicks as the tiny computer honed in on the man's power level.
In truth, Kakarot typically suppressed his power unbeknownst to Raditz, but right now his anger and subsequently his power were raging for all to see. 'Beeeep!' "Hmm.. a power level of.. WHAT? 1100!? It was only two thirds of that when he fought the bald one… I'll have to be careful." He muttered to himself as he stowed away his scouter. 'I'm still a little stronger!' He thought.
"If you're just going to stand there all day then I'm going to get this show on the road." Kakarot warned just a few brief seconds before he dashed forward, feeling lighter than a feather, without his weights. Raditz's face morphed into one of great surprise. 'So fast..!' Goku's alien brother had the body of a tank, clearly being built for raw power. He stood half a foot taller than the Earth raised saiyan and was easily three times as wide due to the sheer bulk of his muscles.
Kakarot on the other hand, while certainly not lacking in muscles, had a much leaner and chiseled form. He had undergone years of training to transform his muscle from red muscle to pink muscle, ensuring his body remained compact and flexible. Standing at a reasonable 5'9, the man's body and reach was flawlessly suited for his style of fighting.
Kakarot went for a leg sweep but his elder brother was no slouch. "Don't get cocky!" The bulky man said, quickly raising his right foot only to bring it down harshly in a kick to his brother's ribs. Kakarot coughed out spit and was kicked backward several feet, skidding to a halt. He wiped his mouth before smirking. "Not bad, Raditz. This could be fun." Raditz for his part growled and stepped forward. "Oh, it'll be fun alright, Kakarot!"
The two siblings rushed at each other at a speed that would have put a helicopter to shame. The momentum gathered by their massive muscles was inhuman, as evidenced by the shockwaves produced when the two of them made fist to fist contact or occasionally, fist to face.
"Hiiiyah!" Goku roared with a flying axe kick.
Not to be out done Raditz responded with a charged up punch however Kakarot somehow managed to alter his path just enough to slip around Raditz's attack seemingly mid-air and land the kick. 'Impossible!' He gasped internally. No sound escaped his lips as the air left his lungs. 'I should be stronger than this imbecile but we're dead even… this doesn't make any sense!'
Of course a brutish warrior like Raditz who had only ever relied on his superior strength would never be able to understand the key differences between himself and his brother but to everyone else who was watching it was clear; Goku was a true martial artist and arguably the very best on the planet currently. He had trained with masters of body, mind and spirit control since as long as he could walk. His fighting style was an original creation. An amalgamation that had evolved through years of constant combat with the greatest fighters the world had to offer.

His foundations were strong, and that was only further fortified by his saiyan blood which now boiled for the first time in a long time at the prospect of such a challenging adversary. It seemed for the most part that the two were even until Kakarot landed a particularly nasty uppercut that caused Raditz to lose control of what little bit of temper he was apparently holding back. "That's it, little brother, no more screwing around! Time to send you home to mommy!"
Raditz disappeared without a trace as he moved at full speed causing Kakarot to gasp in surprise and lose focus for a second. Of course one second was more than long enough for his older brother to capitalize on his momentary lapse in judgment. The wild haired man reappeared behind Kakarot and pulled back his fist. The Earth raised saiyan had just enough time to spin around and cross his arms in defense before the space pirate began raining down blow after blow upon him.
He cried out in agony as his ribs, nose, eye sockets and multiple other areas of his body were shattered as his brother hit him with a ten second flurry of Machine-gun blows. His Ki did a lot to protect his inner organs but he couldn't match his brother's ridiculous raw power. Raditz reared back his fist for a finishing blow, long, spiky hair arcing through the air behind him.
A small crater several inches in diameter was formed with the force of the man's punch as his fist impacted the spot where Kakarot had just been a moment before. By pure instinct the Saiyan who identified as an Earthling had managed to jump back in his dazed and damaged state. Frankly, it may have been the only thing that saved him from spending some time in the hospital as his brother's fist shattered the tile that constituted Kami's lookout in a ten foot radius.
The Z warriors collectively gasped at the display of strength, knowing none amongst them could ever even come close to replicating the feat of strength as they currently were. Kami's face warped into one of horror as he watched the damage accumulating to his precious home. "Ah..! No.. I hope Mr. Popo can fix this.." He uttered in shock.
Even Piccolo looked a bit greener than usual as he realized just how absurdly outmatched he was in comparison to the two titans before him. Specifically the alien that had only just arrived and had seemingly already claimed the title of strongest on Earth. 'Impossible!.. I've trained non-stop these last four years, how could I have fallen so far behind you Goku?.. And now this guy too!? I, King Piccolo, shall not stand for this.'
Kakarot winced as he stumbled and recovered his footing. He had taken a lot of damage but he was far and out from being done yet. Even if it looked like he was on the losing end of this brief battle, he couldn't falter now. He had to stand up for his ideals and the people here. This was his home. He looked over at all of his friends.. at his wife and son. They were counting on him, they looked up to him. How could he possibly let them down while there was still breath in his body?
Raditz blitzed forward intending to press his advantage and finish this little skirmish.
Kakarot's breath hitched in his throat, still flabbergasted by the speed and strength his brother wielded. He had no idea anything could be so strong..! 'Focus!' He thought, dodging Raditz's first wild haymaker. The much larger man overextended himself allowing Goku to outstretch his hands towards the other alien and blow Raditz several feet backwards with a visible shock wave of ki force.
'He's no good at concealing his emotions.. Read his movements.. Even if he's fast he lacks the skill to properly utilize his power. He's just swinging wildly, not attempting to adjust for the distance between us or target my vitals. I can win!..' with a smirk Kakarot drew his arms in close to his sides and squatted slightly.
"What's so funny, imbecile?" Raditz roared, launching himself towards his prey once more. The man's younger brother gave no verbal reply as he prepared to counter the rampaging behemoth. Raditz kicked out and Kakarot absorbed the impact with his ribs. He winced as at least two of the previously unbroken ribs joined their damaged companions. But this was acceptable..
He grabbed the offending limb and swept Raditz's good leg out from under him causing him to land harshly on his back. In the blink of an eye Raditz was back on one knee and attempting to karate chop Kakarot's abdomen. Fortunately, the younger saiyan had planned for all of this and he was ready, jumping high into the air. He cupped his hands at his right side as he began to rapidly accumulate a bright Azure energy. "Ka-me-ha-me…" Kakarot's voice was deep, and rang out across what was most likely the upper top portion of the stratosphere.
Raditz looked on in shock and surprise. Even without his scouter he could feel the pressure of Kakarot's ki rise sharply. He had no time to dodge as his estranged younger brother finished charging his blast in mid-air and with absolutely no hesitation, launched the attack as gravity began to take its effect and drag him back towards the lookout.
"HAAAA!!!" Goku looked like a bright blue star for just a brief moment before his Kamehameha wave rocketed out of his palms at the speed of light. Raditz raised his arms in defense and yelled out his defiance however… The deep-blue beam struck true, a massive explosion shaking the lookout to its core. Kami covered his eyes in dread and trepidation. Truthfully.. He fully expected the lookout to Crack in half and fall right out of the sky if things continued like this.
As the shockwaves subsided and the bright blue light of Kakarot's signature blast faded, everyone present was stunned at the results of the match, save Goku and maybe Piccolo. It was always impossible to tell what the large green man was thinking.
Raditz lie in a smoking crater with various shards of tile and rubble covering part of his beaten and battered form. He groaned and tried to set up with a shudder but his strength gave out halfway through pushing himself back up. He settled for resting on his elbows, looking up at his brother as best he could with the blood flowing down his head and Into his eyes. "H-How..?" He managed.
Kakarot stood over him and glared. "If you had taken this fight more seriously you could have won. As it stands I hope you've learned your lesson. Brother or not, nobody is going to threaten or disrespect my home." He said matter of factly. Raditz looked as if he wanted to argue, probably to accuse Kakarot of betraying his 'true' home world of the saiyans, but clearly he lacked the energy at the moment. His head thumped into the ground, his consciousness quickly leaving him.
