Goku foolishly believed that he was not as evil as his father.. Piccolo Jr begged to differ. If anything he was more evil than his father. More ruthless. More.. cunning.

Piccolo believed that his father had been right about one thing, that they were meant to rule. It was their purpose. Their divine right. But his father had been foolish in the fact that he had been cocky, and flashy. Piccolo Jr. Would be smart. He would bide his time and wait until Goku and that monster from space were vulnerable..

Ever since his humiliating defeat at the world martial arts tournament 5 years ago he had spent every second of every day training his mind. Namekians required only water to survive, neither sleep nor food were necessary. He had developed two powerful techniques to defeat the annoying Saiyan man and was arguably more skilled in combat having so much extra time to train his brain. Piccolo was born with great intellectual prowess and the power of his mind was now unmatched amongst the beings of Earth, at least by way of battle tactics.

The offset of focusing so much time honing his mind was that Piccolo had spent very little time training his body and pushing his overall power level higher but he had grown in other ways…

To that end he would now begin his physical training in earnest. His Namekian biology which allowed him to heal rapidly and lack of nutritional and resting needs, combined with his unparalleled mental capacity meant his battle power should rise rapidly. By his calculations he should only need about two months to reach the level of power Goku's older brother displayed at his disgusting other half's lookout.

Hopefully the saiyans with their strange biology wouldn't grow too much in that time…

He stood to his full intimidating height of almost seven feet and began gathering Ki. He roared and spread his arms out wide. There was a bright flash and when it finally faded three piccolos now stood where there was once only one. A technique he had apparently inherited due to his father's shenanigans with the dragon balls…

Piccolo's version was much stronger than the regular one so each clone was about as strong as the original plus they each gained power at the same rate meaning he would effectively get three times as much training for his efforts. The green man didn't bother removing his weighted clothing as an unspoken signal passed between the five copies of the same being. They clashed in a series of shockwaves that shook the rocky mountains for a mile in all directions.

Two months later…

This was the place. He knew because he had been here once before, in this dastardly city surrounded by wretched humans. Piccolo severely wished he'd never had to return but alas.. he was all but forced to come here by his ambitious nature.

Piccolo flew a dozen meters above the capsule corporation. He slowly descended as he used his extensive senses to feel out the Ki signatures nearby.

Goku's human lover was with her father and mother on the other side of the compound so they wouldn't be an issue, and Piccolo didn't see or sense any of Goku's other friends around.. He did however feel the man in question and his brother fighting in the massive new and improved gravity chamber that comprised a full fourth of the Capsule Corporation now. Their energy levels were getting low.. He had timed it perfectly. As he damn well should after two long, careful months of planning.

Piccolo was making his way towards the sliding doors that led to the hallway before the gravity room when suddenly he froze, ears twitching. How had he missed the little boy over by the pond? Was he controlling his ki?.. 'The man's brat..' He thought. 'I best take care of him first or he could cause trouble.'

He was sure the boy wasn't all that powerful but the last thing he needed was for him to fly off and alert others if he had learned to control his Ki already. Piccolo approached silently like a ninja in the night even with his weighted cape and helmet on. He was a master martial artist after all. As he drew closer he raised an arm preparing to gather energy and strike.

"... And also Shenron.."

Piccolo paused. Was this boy… praying to the eternal dragon?.. How daft. He raised his arm again…

"I know you're not really here but when I gather you.. I'll wish that Mr Piccolo would come play with me too…"

The Namekian froze, breath hitching in his throat. 'What..?'

"...Mom says he's a bad guy, but daddy says he's really just misunderstood. And I think so too... hes gonna help us beat the evil frieza. Plus he has a cool cape and awesome pointy shoes and it would be awesome if he let me wear them someday…"

Piccolo wasn't able to catch much more than that as he flew away. 'Damn kid.. talks too much.. He's really gotta work on his prayers because Shenron wouldn't listen to all that incessant rambling...' He grumbled internally.

CC gravity room: 15 G

'Huh.. wonder what Piccolo wanted?..' Kakarot thought absentmindedly.

"Pay attention, Kakarot! HIYAAH!" Raditz roared as he shoulder tackled his brother and drove him into the tile ground with a pile driver. Thankfully Bulma designed this place with the strongest material on Earth, so it was even harder than Kami's lookout, and didn't shatter as a consequence.

Of course for Kakarot that meant that the full inertia of his brother's technique was transferred to him resulting in a painful impact. Even without the increased gravity his brother could build up quite a bit of momentum but with it he became a truly unstoppable tank.

The younger saiyan groaned pitifully as he tried feebly to recover. Between pants he wretched up vomit and blood. After a few minutes he wiped his face and stood on wobbly feet. His brother was smirking and had his arms crossed. "I win again, Kakarot. That's literally 0-12." He mocked with a barking laugh.

The younger saiyan spit out blood and glared at his older brother. "Nuh uh, Raditz. In case you forgot already, I beat you the first time we fought." He said matter of factly.

The massive saiyan turned away with a huff. "I beat myself that day, Kakarot. A low-class like you could never beat an elite.." He grumbled.

Though Raditz said this on the outside, internally his thoughts told a different story.. 'Yet.. Somehow he's already catching back up to me again. I should be far ahead of him due to the difference in our battle power.. at this rate I may not win for long. It doesn't make any sense!'

His younger brother's rate of growth truly defied the natural laws of the universe. And contrary to Raditz's had originally believed, his brother had not held his loss over his head at all, or even mentioned it for that matter. It soon became clear to Raditz that his brother truly did not seem to care about being the strongest..

Kakarot frowned at the perceived racial slur but said nothing as he ate a senzu bean. His body swelled up with excess energy for several seconds before he returned to his normal proportions completely free of harm and full of vitality once more. "Alright!" The saiyan yelled, pumping his fist in the air like an excited child.

This time it became Raditz's turn to frown as he still could not fully wrap his mind around the mystical properties of the planet's magical beans. "If frieza knew about those things he'd come after this planet for sure. In a God damn heartbeat." He shook his head. Truly this sector of the galaxy was a weird one…

"I can't say I blame him. Ten full days of food like each bean contains is a dream come true for any saiyan! Hahahahaaaa" He laughed. Raditz couldn't stop the look of frustration that crossed his face. "Why would you assume Frieza is a Saiyan name you idiot? Assuming makes an ass out of u and me and besides, does that sound even remotely close to a vegetable?!"

Kakarot and Raditz looked at the audience before slowly turning back toward one another.

Kakarot raised his arms in defense. "Look man, I don't know! You said he was pretty much a God, he was so strong.. I didn't think anyone besides a saiyan and maybe whatever that thingy kami said he and Piccolo were could get that strong."

Raditz rubbed his forehead several times and sucked in a deep breath.

"That 'thingy' is a Namekian you idiot. Probably of the Warrior clan. As for your ridiculous assumptions there is much you don't know about our universe little brother. There are many beings out there with incomprehensible power. As much as I loathe to admit it, we Saiyans are not the strongest. Not by a long shot." The bulky man said with a sigh. Though he was only thirty, he was getting too old for this shit honestly.

Kakarot nodded slowly for several seconds before a large grin broke across his face. Raditz frowned and looked sideways at him. "What?"

The spiked haired saiyan stifled a giggle and said, "You called me brother."

Raditz's face was stone as he walked over to the nearest wall. There he began to groan and repeatedly bonk his head over and over…
