"Daizu!" Lakasei yelled in stunned disbelief. "Impossible.." Rasin muttered in contempt beside him. Unfortunately they weren't given very long to process the extent of their stupefaction as Tien and his clone continued harassing the two with Dodon ray's and eye lasers.
"Enough!"
"Enough!"
The twins spat simultaneously, having grown sick of the annoying pests flying all around them. His piercing attacks and flurry of blows were admittedly impressive, especially given how low the man's power level was.. Be that as it may, the gap between their strengths was just too much for him to keep them suppressed for long.
The twins flew in close to one another and grabbed each other's hands, as if they were about to start pushing each other for dominance. In a move that was surprisingly agile given their portly frames, the twins raised their legs to their chests and kicked off one another's feat. This action used the full consequence of Newton's third law to propel the duo away from one another and towards the two surprised versions of Tien.
"Hiyah!" Lakasei yelled, as he struck Tien's clone with a fierce uppercut. He then clasped his hands together and delivered a harsh overhead axe swing sending the clone careening towards the ground at an uncontrollable velocity.
Meanwhile Rasin headbutted the original Tien harshly in his exposed abdomen, driving the air from his lungs and leaving him unable to even scream in pain. His eyes widened in distress and fear as the being before him grinned in a manner that promised cruelty and pain. In each of the man's tiny hands he gathered a dense golden energy.
"Bye, Bye, hahaha!" He laughed as he launched his attack at the man, sending him flying towards the crater that had been formed due to his clone's impact a few seconds prior. He landed in a bright explosion that was nearly thirty feet in diameter, widening the crater even further and causing cracks to spider web in every direction for several meters.
Once the intense light from the blast diffused enough for visibility to be restored the two Tien's could be seen lying in the smoking crater. They were badly damaged and their breathing was labored. The two fused to become one once more, which seemed to heal some of the damage but not much…
The twins laughed in unison and flew up high into the air, to the point they were obscured by the clouds. They hovered, back to back and pointed one arm at the unnamed planet while bending the other behind their head. They laughed maniacally and began charging up a large amount of Ki in the form of a blazing fiery sphere.
"This blast takes a full minute to charge!.." One twin shouted.
".. But once you see the devastation it causes, you'll understand why!" The other bragged.
True to their word nearly a minute later the blast had been fully charged. "Here we go!" They shouted together. "5..4..3..2…. What!?" The twins screamed as they suddenly found themselves outlined in a red glow and completely paralyzed..
Chiaotzu watched in horror as the twins brutally decimated his best friend.. Tien had saved him from a terrible and lonely fate as an orphan, and helped him become strong so that he could learn from Tien's master, Shen.
He watched as the evil twins laughed and flew up into the air beyond the cover of the clouds. The white man rushed over to his downed ally and placed both his hands on the man's back. 'Thank you so much Goku, for teaching me this ability.. Without it Tien might be in trouble!..'
Waves of green energy with tiny motes of emerald light began to roll off of the downed man as Chiaotzu began to heal him with his telekinetic Ki. After about thirty seconds Tien began to come to and shakily raised himself to his knees and then his feet. "Tien, not yet, let me heal you some more!" Chiaotzu pleaded. Tien stumbled and waved his friend's concerns away.
"I'm fine Chiaotzu. It wasn't as bad as it looked." He lied poorly. "I still have half my Ki and that will be more than enough for these two.. But it's gonna take me a second to gather the necessary power to finish this.." He turned and looked at his friend in determination. "Hold them as long as you can, Ok?"
Chiaotzu nodded enthusiastically. "Right!" He reached up and, using more mental power than he ever had he seized the two twins far up in the atmosphere. A red outline began to cover him as he pushed all of his considerable telekinetic abilities past their max. Beside him Tien closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. He focused, reaching deep inside himself to harness not only his Ki energy.. But his very life-force.
'I only need a little bit..' He thought, exhaling peacefully. He placed his hands into a triangle and began to gather energy..
High in the sky they heard the twins yelling in unison, "5..4..3..2…. What!?" As the two realized they were no longer in control of their muscles. "Hurry Tien! They're so strong!" Chiaotzu begged.
Tien's eyes snapped open. "Now! Let go, Chiaotzu! Neo-Tri-Beam Haaaa!" He shouted. His attack erupted in a massive triangular beam that shook the surface of the planet as it flew through the air.
In the sky above, the Beenz twins realized they could finally move. They blinked rapidly but their confusion turned to fright as Tien's powerful attack evaporated the clouds and continued straight towards them. The duo screamed and launched their attack with a furious yell.
It seemed inevitable that their fiery ball of energy was going to completely obliterate Tien's Tri-Beam attack.. that was until it was joined by a second and then a third..
"Impossible!"
"Not faaaair!"
With a combined total of three of his ultimate attacks fused together his energy pushed forward until it vaporized the wailing twins. Down on the planet below Tien and Chiaotzu collapsed in unceremonious piles of convulsing limbs…
With Piccolo and Amond high in the air.
The green Namekian who was ironically born on Earth, levitated roughly twenty feet away from Amond. The two of them raised an eyebrow as they looked at the explosion far off in the distance caused by Tien's attack.
Amond turned back to Piccolo with a look of respect. "Your people are truly impressive." He praised sincerely. "I'm not sure who will win between my allies and yours.." He drawled slowly. "Unfortunately between you and I, the victor is already determined. You fought well." The man said, settling into a stance.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
It wasn't hard to see why the man was so assured of his self declared victory. The two had been battling for roughly fifteen minutes now and it was obvious Amond was the superior fighter. While the hulking warrior possessed a few minor battle wounds, Piccolo for his part looked like he had been put through the proverbial blender.
His purple, alien blood flowed freely from several wounds that would have proven detrimental to the health of a human being. He was covered in scrapes and bruises. Numerous char marks adorned his clothing as well.
Fortunately, Piccolo was not some mere human, so his body was not quite so fragile. Tge Namekian's frown gave way to a haughty smirk and Amond raised his eyebrows at the man.
"Something funny then, warrior?" The muscular man asked curiously. For a second he was afraid the green man had lost his mind..
Piccolo for his part just shrugged and shook his head. "No sorry.. I was just thinking.. A few year or so ago I never would have believed you but.. I've come to discover more than anyone how truly right you are about those idiots. They may not be the brightest bulbs in the universe but.. They have guts, spirit and honor." he said with a soft smile.
He looked at the bulky warrior across from him and clenched his fists, flexing hjs muscles. "I'm glad I joined them. In fact, as much as I hate to admit it, it's because of them that I was able to get this strong."
The green man began removing his weighted turbon and cape (Of course Amond had no way of knowing that's what they were) tosseimg them to the ground.
They landed with a massive thud and splintered the earth beneath them. He brushed his hands off and Amond checked his scouter. His eyes widened in surprise.
"20,000?.. Astonishing.. If not for the fruit from the tree of might giving me triple my original power level you would surely defeat me. You are a great warrior. As it stands you still cannot win. Give up and you may yet live." He warned.
Piccolo cracked his neck before he crossed his arms. "Thanks for the offer but.. I don't 'give up' unless I'm dead. Haaaah!" The man roared, throwing his arms out wide. He began to glow a bright blue before he split into three separate copies. Not only that but his wounds began to steam and hiss as they rapidly regenerated.
One had to remember that unlike Tien's multi form technique, Piccolo's ability allowed each of his three clones to match his power level. The only drawback to the ability was that it drained unimaginable amounts of stamina. Add that on to his natural Namekian regenerations kicking in to heal his extensive damage and he was already down to a third of his total Ki.
Amond's eyes turned warily to the clones as his scouter informed him they were both as strong as their creator. He growled and powered up preparing for the three to gang up on him. In a bazaar turn of events the exact opposite seemed to happen as the two clones Piccolo had summoned turned tail and ran.
Amond blinked in surprise for several seconds before he burst into spontaneous laughter. "Bahaha! Don't worry, I have that effect on people. But the fact that they were technically you.. that must sting, no?" He laughed, wiping away a fake tear. Piccolo glared at the man before he raised one hand and made a 'come get me' motion.
Amond smirked before obliging by bending his knees slightly and exploding forth at inhuman speeds.
Piccolo's eyes widened as the man seemed somehow faster than before. Not waiting for the large brute to close the distance between them, Piccolo threw both of his hands forward causing his arms to stretch in an eerie manner until they were the length of telephone poles.
His green hands shot forward like torpedoes but Amond deftly dodged them with a grace you wouldn't expect from someone of such colossal proportions. The large man continued charging between Piccolo's arms, crossing his own in an X. "Bulldozer charge!" He yelled, gathering momentum as he flew.
Piccolo's eyes widened. Thinking fast he flicked his head antennas forward and shot twin bolts of electricity at the man. This time is was Amond's turn to be surprised as he was unable to alter his course due in part to his skill and Piccolo's arms.
He groaned as he was electrified but miraculously he managed to maintain his grip on his ability. The latge man plowed into Piccolo at about half of his original speed.
"Gah!"
"Gah!"
The two warriors grunted as they tumbled through the air. They began trading blows with Amond still being quite a bit stronger and faster than Piccolo. For every punch or kick Piccolo landed, Amond would land an even stronger one in kind.
The Namekian growled and drop kicked Amond in the chest, using his opponent as a springboard to fly straight up into the air. He had risen at least a hundred feet when Amond suddenly appeared above him. "What exactly was that supposed to do!? Are you running now?" He bellowed, rearing back his fist.
However before he could swing he was suddenly struck in the stomach by an impossibly fast and small beam of energy. Amonds eyes bulged as he doubled over in pain. For just a second it looked as if a spiraling baseball had hit him square in the gut. He stood up still clutching his smoking stomach to see a smirking Piccolo with his arms crossed.
"What..?" The man began but Piccolo cut him off "Bout damn time those two got their lazy asses ready. This whole entire time i've been waiting to see the look on your face when I pay you back for calling me a coward." He said seriously. "The funny thing is.. You're really not even wrong." Piccolo's face twisted into an evil grin.
"You see, originally I developed a technique called a special beam cannon but.." He paused to narrow his eyes at the man. ".. You ever try to kill a fucking saiyan before? Damn near impossible…"
Flashback, about a month after the Z-warriors began traveling through space
Why won't you train with me, Piccolo?" Kakarot pleaded. "I really just want to help both of us get stronger, pleeease! You already train with Gohan." He reasoned, crossing his arms and pouting. Piccolo just sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Honestly Goku because your son isn't a whiny brat like you are!" He groaned.
The saiyan frowned up at his comically tall friend. "Hey, there's no need to be like that. I'm just saying we could learn alot from each other! And you need someone strong to fight besides my brother all the time right?" He asked with increasing urgency.
Piccolo huffed and turned to face the man. "Listen Goku.. The truth is ever since I was born all that my DNA has ever told me to do was to kill you. It's only been a year since I began fighting my nature in earnest and honestly? I still wouldn't mind if you 'got accidented' during one of our spars." He said while making quotations with his hands.
The green man sighed. "I hope you realize.. I've developed my most powerful abilities with the intent of ending your life in mind. Obviously I don't use those abilities in fights with the others but against you.. I don't think I could resist." He said threateningly.
Piccolo was sure the man would take offense to this or at least tell him he could no longer train with Gohan.
So to say that what came next was an unexpected surprise would be an understatement. Kakarot crossed his arms and smirked at the green man. "You see, that's exactly what I'm talking about! You're not able to give it your best, it's holding you back!"
The man smiled brightly before he continued. "Against me you can go all out! And plus it'll be great for me because I never get stronger like I do when my life's on the line! Besides, if I can't even survive a few special beam attacks or whatever, how am I ever gonna win against a guy like Frieza? Ahahaha ohhh." He laughed with closed eyes.
Piccolo was flabbergasted at the saiyan's naive and carefree attitude. But he had to admit he certainly felt relief and strangely enough, excitement at the man's words. "Fine then Goku.. You asked for it. Let's find a training chamber…"
Roughly half an hour later Kakarot, bruised and slightly battered but still in superb fighting condition, placed his hands on his hips and smiled down at three smoking Piccolos. "You know what the problem with your technique is.. It takes too long to cha-.."
"Obviously I know that!" The original Piccolo roared, springing to his feet while simultaneously reuniting with his clones. "I thought I would have more time to gather energy.. I had no idea you'd gotten so strong already." He grumbled.
Goku simply shrugged and laughed. "It's kind of my thing. But honestly.. If you wanted to kill me Piccolo I'd say you're going about it all wrong." He giggled with a closed eye smile.
The green man's eyes widened and he frowned in confusion. "What are you talking about? Elaborate..?" He requested. Kakarot did some stretches to keep his muscles lumber and said, "well, my greatest weakness is, I always drop my gaurd when I get too comfortable in a fight. Plus it's really hard for me to focus on things that aren't right in front of me if I get too excited." He explained.
Piccolo couldn't believe what he was hearing. What kind of moron would tell someone who had admitted to wanting them dead how to get the job done?
Piccolo's mouth hung open, finding himself at a loss for words. Shaking his head he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Why are you telling me this, Goku? What's the point?" Again the saiyan raised on Earth only shrugged as if the subject were no big deal.
"Well you're pretty strong on your own. What if your clones went off and gathered energy for your attack or even better, developed one that you could use more often and from further away? You said you all have telepathy right?" He asked putting his hands on his hips and rocking on the balls of his feet.
To which Piccolo slowly nodded in affirmative trying to figure out where the man was going with this. Goku continued. "So you can tell them where to aim from any distance while they stay back and snipe the bad guy, or in this case, me! Ahahaha!"
"You are.. truly something else Goku.." Piccolo mumbled in disbelief, still trying to wrap his brain around everything he'd just heard.
Flashback end…
Roughly five miles away from where the original Piccolo and Amond were fighting it out, Piccolo's clones were preparing to fire another shot.
One of the clones was kneeling down with his left hand clutching his right wrist. His fingers were in the shape of a gun. As goofy as it seemed a bright spiraling light had gathered at the tip of his finger and it was clear the attack was a potent one.
Behind him stood the other Piccolo clone which had its hand on his counterpart's shoulder and had its eyes closed in concentration as it continuously fed power into the sniper.
Back with Piccolo and Amond…
"It's called my special beam sniper. And every time it's fired it gets stronger. You lose." Piccolo crossed his arms confidently. Amond raised his arms and roared charging at Piccolo. "Like hell, Raaah!" He roared. However when he was just a few feet away from the Namekian another spiraling beam of energy blasted the large brute backwards.
This particular blast had been twice as strong as the last one and ripped a large chunk out of the man's shoulder. This all but disabled his dominant arm. He looked up at Piccolo gasping.
The green man had put both his hands together over his head and was gathering energy. Amond smirked as the Z-warriors finished his preparations. 'I see… It appears I was not, the better man..'
"Masenko ha!"
