Finally, I took 3 months, but now I am fluent in reading and writing.  I comprehended at a faster rate than many people.  This makes me wonder if this has more to do with a developing brain or the fact I am learning before the brain prunes out useless data.  Anyways, I learned a lot about the geography of the world and how monsters work.  He answered most of my questions even though he seems to think I won't remember anything of the complex answers.

Monsters are a crystallization of mana that forms a core, and the organism it forms into gets determined by its strength, purity, and desires.  So a new monster could be a slime, goblin, wolf, or some other basic creature, but they will evolve as they take in more mana and get experience from killing other monsters or people.  It is an interesting phenomenon that lower ranked monsters seem to gain intelligence as they become higher ranked monsters.

At some point monsters will gain a form that has average intelligence and is humanoid.  From this nature of monsters some religions in this world say every race evolved from monsters that were at the top of the food chain.  Evidence backs it up because higher ranked monsters give birth to higher ranked monsters of the same type rather than a reversion to the base form.  Based on this would mean that each race could evolve further if it is true.

Anyways as their core becomes more complex it can withstand over one element intruding into the core.  I guess I should also point out that everyone in this world can use magic; it is just that the types they use get further along than others.  Most people will get to Advanced Magic in one element by the time they die, but only a miniscule amount get to Master Magic.  People also get experience from trivial tasks and growing up, so trivial tasks can increase your level.  I am level 4 by the way

Even though this is interesting, I would like to learn more about how magic affects other parts of nature.  I will have to ask my dad for those books.  I will think about that later, Rose and Kylie are coming over.  We have wanted to do this for a while, but either my parents or their parents were too busy to arrange for it.

Rose is an outgoing person who loves to talk about random things.  I find her fun to talk to because she will get distracted easily like me.  Kylie has her hands full with us, but she is always leading us toward a goal.

"Hi Rose and Kylie," I said as I joyfully smiled.

""Hi Ally,"" They said in unison

I asked, "Do you want to go to my room?"

Rose responded, "Is there something you want to do?"

"I want to show you something that I made, it is interesting."

"That's fine by me, what about you Kylie?"

"It should be fun to see the kind of room she has, Ally is a joyful mess most of the time."

Our conversation ended, and we headed to my room.  Since I completed the underground garden, I observed the effects the plants would have on certain things.  I didn't imagine that the rainbow flower would have a residue, which causes things like wood to become very rigid.  It wasn't my fault I got kind of caught up in making figurines to test this residue.  It also wasn't my fault I accidentally gained a couple skills and a title of "Obsessed Experimenter".

Anyways my room now has a few to many figurines.

When we got to my room Kylie and Rose stared in shock while Ellie just shook her head like her embarrassment for me was high.  Ellie is fantastic at sneaking around for me not to see.

Rose muttered, "I expected nothing less", while Kylie seemed to just brush it off after a few seconds.

After this little episode we headed into my room.  Ellie brought us a few snacks to munch on as we talked about school and what our tutors were teaching us.  They are learning about basic history offhandedly.  As we passed the time I was in a much better mood than usual, but they had to leave before it got dark to head home.  I forgot to mention that they also had their own maid and guards that accompanied them here, so it wasn't like they feared the dark.

"Bye Rose, Bye Kylie."

In unison they exclaimed, ""Bye Ally!""

After they left, I found my dad to ask about some books on biology and on plants.  I wondered that since people possess a core also, then maybe they gained extra parts that are also different like how the horns work.

As I snuck up on my dad, I yelled as I jumped into his lap "Boo!!"

"Do you need something Ally?"

"Well, you are no fun dad, I wanted to surprise you."

"Well you surprised me, but when you opened the door, the squeak gave you away."

"So that's where I went wrong, I will have to do better next time.  Dad can I have some books, you did say when I could read you would let me choose a couple books from your room."

"Oh, so you did learn to read.  What books did you want to learn about Ally? Magic, history, plants, monsters?"

"I want books about biology and plants, please," I said as I smiled sweetly at him.

"You do always have strange tastes in topics Ally, but I guess you will try them all out in due time."

He put me down and walked to his bookshelf.  He picked three books and handed them to me. "Here you go Ally, they should satisfy you for now"

I yelled, "Thank you dad, I will read them now, bye and love you!" as I left the room in a rush.

When I got back to my room, I saw that the titles were "Basics to Demon Biology", "Guide to plants in Windrunner continent", and "Basics to Magic".  I picked up the last one and thought to myself why would he give me a book about magic, but it doesn't matter because I will read it now.

Just as I finished looking at the books, Tina appeared.  She has been appearing less frequently now.  I think it has to with the events happening around where the Fae were living.  There had been an influx of magical energy recently that accompanied a large increase of low-leveled monsters trying to swarm the cities. Based on what I know, it would most likely be because a high-leveled unique creature had just died.

Tina and I spent the rest of the time until bedtime playing games of rock, paper, and scissors with our mana.
