Since today was the first day of high school, we had no more classes today after homeroom. I blame the fact I was forced to give a speech for why it felt so long. As I got into class, my friends and I got seats in the back of the room.
Rose started the conversation... or what I considered the start of the conversation... I may not have been paying enough attention. She nudged me, which grabbed my attention before saying, "Ally, do you know how your mom connected the high school and middle school dorms with her spatial magic?"
I actually wasn't sure because I haven't been taught how to create a second entrance to spaces. It was far beyond my comprehension; just being able to create a sizable space is exhausting for me currently. I answered her, "No, mom never told me and neither has Ellie."
Kylie butted in, and exclaimed a question like she couldn't hold it, "Ally, why did you want all of us to go to your dorm tomorrow? You never let the boys in. Ever, and you will let them tomorrow?"
With a slight smirk, I leaned in and whispered into her ear, "You're just happy that I'm allowing Tristan to come in, aren't you."
Her blushing face gave Rose a smirk as well. Kade asked, "What are you guys teasing Kylie about?"
Knowing him, his intentions were not pure. Rose and I responded with our hands behind our back, "Nothing."
To be honest, Kylie is the only one we can tease this way. The door opened and our homeroom teacher came in. I wouldn't care much usually, but I stared at the homeroom teacher. I hope he realized it was his apprentice. Why in the hell is my teacher the homeroom teacher? Subconsciously I created an ice shard. Too many surprises today and I will have fun with this. Balding old man, you don't tell me anything and expect me to go along with this.
I sent the shard at his head. He caught it, but at least I gathered his attention now. I used my limited use of telepathy to send the words, 'Why the hell did you become the homeroom teacher.' He shrugged his shoulders and laughed it off. I will get him for this later...
Teacher greeted everyone by saying; "I shall be your homeroom teacher for the year. I was not at the ceremony because an important matter popped up. Most people call me Mr. Weathers. You can call me what you will, I have no real care towards it."
He went on, "My point of expertise is enchantments and creating magical items. I am also a master class mage, and my apprentice is the ornery one in the back."
When he pointed at me, I stared back giving a slight smile. This is your fault, not mine. I specifically asked if you would be a teacher this year and you said no. He flashed a smile while continuing, "Now, there are a few new things for you freshmen compared to middle school. One is the duel system; it's considered state of the art and will keep anyone from dying. If I explained it completely, we would have to make it an entire course. Another sport opened to everyone is, 'Dynamic'. You can read up on the rules elsewhere. I find it fun to watch. I will have everyone go around the classroom and introduce yourselves."
With that, we spent the rest of the class introducing ourselves. At least I got better at that aspect in the past few years. Misty was waiting for me outside the building. She loves the fresh air and has increased to the fifth tier. Those plants are superb at their jobs...
Naptime is a must when everything goes haywire.

I opened my eyes to a strange sight. Everywhere around me is a forest that is surrounding a giant lake. Why are there no creatures, is this just a wasteland despite being lush? As I calmed down, I attempted to summon Misty and Tina. Nothing. Nothing happened. What the hell!!! I can't pull up my status table. Calm down, maybe this isn't as dire as it feels. I should try searching the forest.
Ok, with my plan of action devised, time to find an exit... hopefully. Stealthily moving through the giant trees, I found nothing. Well, nothing as in no animals or humans, just more trees. I wonder if I am trapped in an illusion. Could it be that I was kidnapped? Hmmm, what should I do, I've never learned how to get out of illusions. I yelled into the surroundings, "Why am I not panicking more, mind what the hell, panic. PANIC. Why don't you panic?"
As I was yelling at myself and before I broke, my surroundings changed to black before a cabin materialized. This is suspicious, there isn't much I can do now... everything is a void. Might as well just enter the cabin. Nothing to lose now, either this is an illusion or something I'm not considering.
I opened the door and inside I saw a person with a black cloak. Whoever it spoke up with a slightly lower voice, "So, Ally, how did you like having your complete soul enter this realm."
My eyes opened wide as I realized what happened... This is like a dream world. I recovered and answered in a cold tone, "What do you want?"
He turned around and stared at me with his deep red eyes. Then he said, "You are probably one of the best choices I've made when picking a chaos child. Have you ever seen something fluctuate so much when someone hasn't even been out of high school yet? You are the perfect mix of unstable, logical, curious, and morally ambiguous. Why didn't I meet you at the beginning like I do all the others?"
I poked into his self-talking, "Hey, you know I still exist, right?"
He answered smoothly, "I know you are there. You are also somewhat of an object in this picture, but an important object nonetheless."
Ok, now I'm annoyed. "What the hell... Why are you messing with me, why bring me to this world to reincarnate, why do any of this?"
He seemed to think for a second before answering, "Because I want to. What other reason is there? There is no real reason for any of you to exist; there is no reason for me to exist. Might as well make the most of it, my entire existence revolves around chaos, and you fit the bill to cause it? If we took a tough alternative to this, my siblings and I wouldn't have anything to do in this vast emptiness of ongoing time."
I guess he has a point; I have done many things for no or little reason before. "What exactly do you want with me now anyways, you just show up and tell me this? Any reason? Or just to poke the person you decided to play with this time?"
"There are plenty of reasons to bring you here. One of them could've been to annoy you, or I could've decided that you should be aware of something."
"So... no reason than to just bring me here?"
He hummed a tune before answering, "I don't have a guide for you, and you are a chaos child. I'm not the goddess of light or the god of darkness. They would want you to battle the other's followers. I'm more relaxed, you can do what you want and I will only watch and follow along with it. If I find it funny or something to do to you funny, I will do it. Simple."
Simple he says... "So just to tell me you will annoy me in the future?"
With a smirk, he said, "Most likely."
Now... this is a complete waste of time... except I learned that my soul won't panic when it feels everything is alright... not sure how to think about that. "So are we done now?"
"Well, this is a dream... A lucid one, but still a dream."
I bit my tongue to stop myself from cursing him, so I walked up to him and....
After he doubled over, I turned around and walked out of the cabin.
With a rather aggrieved voice, the chaos god said, "Are you sure you don't want to hear the final thing?"
"Fine, what is it?"
