Rose and I figured out why Kade and Kylie were late, the blame is on the fact that Kade was missing and they panicked to find him. I would say this is new, but I'm decently sure he disappears when he doesn't want to do something. He is quite good at disappearing. His actions are probably the reason Kylie was so frustrated when she arrived at school with him.
Tristan was pompous when he arrived, but I'm not entirely sure what caused it. I think it may be his father's influence though; I wonder what would happen if mom knew.
As we all settled into our dorms, the first day of school started.
"Mistress, wake up. Your first day of school is today."
As I groggily got up from my sleep, I mumbled, "I don't wanna wake up."
I guess that didn't stop Ellie from forcefully pulling my blanket away.
"Why Ellie, I was having a good dream."
"Mistress, if I didn't go this far you would not wake up until your school day was half over."
I stared her down to say, "You just want to dress me up."
She just smiled brilliantly and hurried me into the bathroom to get cleaned up. As I looked at my naked body, I am reminded that I adapted well to this strange circumstance thrust upon me. I still want to know why it happened, but I am not in the position to find out. All I can do is enjoy my new life as it comes.
I pressed on my breast buds and noticed that they were tender. This is a reminder that my body will be changing fairly fast in the next couple of years. These new hormones will also influence my mentality as well. As I got out of the bath, Ellie was waiting with an outfit she picked out. This school didn't have uniforms, but it had a dress code. The clothes she laid out was a black sundress accented silver, a silver ribbon from the magical tool, and a pair of black flats.
I've thought about what Rose said and I'm sure that these clothes make me stand out. They shouldn't be a cause for everybody to stare at me though, I can't quite figure out the reason why I draw so much attention.
After I put on the clothes Ellie said, "Mistress, make sure you have paper and pencils."
"I always have those with me. I'm also decently sure that I won't need them."
She shook her head as she sighed.
As I left to get breakfast, I met up with Rose. From what I figured out my other friends skip breakfast usually, so I will meet up with everyone in class. I need to remind myself to pay attention in class even though I'm not learning anything new.
Rose spoke up, "Ally, have you figured out why you stick out. It has been two days."
"Nope. My clothes stick out, but I can't figure out anything else."
She sighed and mumbled to herself, "You are smart Ally, but for some reason you just don't understand people or yourself well."
Since I didn't pick up on it I asked, "You should also stick out too Rose, do you ignore them?"
"Nope, if you were a 10 I would be a 5 on drawing everybody's attention."
"Why am I a 10, what about my mom or Ellie?"
"They would probably make me re-evaluate the scale, but we will go with this."
I hung my head in resignation and just hoped that it would die down with time. As Rose and I finished eating, we headed to our homeroom, if the elementary school was my original scale, these classrooms are huge. This classroom could handle around a hundred people and designed like a college lecture hall. I wondered if this is the average size of the classrooms in this school.
I was following Rose and took a seat next to her. Soon after we observed Kylie and Kade enter. They were arguing to themselves and I find it funny considering how different they are from each other. I guess even twins are their own people. I waved to them to let them know where we were sitting since there were more people in the room.
They saw my waving and headed my way. For some reason Rose and Kylie exchanged glances and simultaneous sighs. After this the teacher walked in and introduced himself as our homeroom teacher Kyle Meadow. I kind of tuned him out when he gave a spiel about how school will work. After about 15 minutes Tristan came in and made quite a large entrance with his two guards following him in.

When he saw us in a group and since there were no seats left near us he tried to get someone to exit their seat. Truthfully he was obnoxious, so I sent a small ice shard about the size of a thumb to his forehead to get his attention and floated the words, 'Be Quiet' in ice in front of me. He gave me a glare, but still took the empty seat rather than continue throwing a fit.
I'm decently sure the teacher was at a loss on how to stop him considering that Tristan was a prince. I kind of wanted to get on with the lecture so I could continue doodling on my paper. The students who became uncomfortable having a prince sitting next to them would just have to deal with it for now. After a bit I noticed that Tristan's guards had disappeared, I will leave that alone.
After class Tristan came up to us looking sullen. Kylie comforted him, which I took offense to because it was his own fault.
"Kylie, why cheer him up if it is his own fault."
Rose whispered to me, "You won't win this argument Ally."
"Why?"
She didn't bother to answer, only sighing. What am I missing? I wonder what causes all of these sighs and asking why will just cause them to sigh again. I think that they are just playing me, and I think it would be simpler to just tell me what I'm missing.
After Kylie cheered up Tristan, we went to our advanced arithmetic class, well except Kylie who is bad at mathematics. The numbers were small considering the size of our actual class, but that is probably because this only includes people in our grade. I created an ice sculpture in this class because math is one of my areas of expertise. Every engineer needs to be above average with numbers no matter the subtype.
As I was getting to the top of my tower, Rose poked me on my side. It seems that the teacher is calling on me to answer a problem; it is a simple order of operations problem so I will only say the answer and go back to finishing my tower. What I didn't see was that the teacher and my friends were looking at me with a blank expression.
In the end I wasn't called on again and class ended, I decomposed my ice tower and headed to my next class. Intermediate Water Magic is interesting, but considering that these classes are usually simple when beginning the year I wonder if I will learn anything that mom hasn't taught me. When I got to the class, I noticed that it was unusually empty until a couple upperclassmen arrived. By upperclassmen, I mean people older than me by a year or so.
My teacher arrived and quieted down the class, I'm actually glad I don't have to introduce myself in these classes. I wonder why it is though. Anyways, the teacher began with the basics of water magic we should all know from when we got Beginner Water Magic. I seem to attract quite a few states, but I'm decently sure they are because I am younger than everyone else there.
After Intermediate Water Magic Class I went to Intermediate Fire Magic Class. As I was heading there, I found a little girl who is at most three in a corner crying so I decided to talk to her and see what happened.
"Why are you alone, little miss?"
Through her tears she said, "I was following my daddy, and he disappeared. I looked and couldn't find him."
I guess that would happen since most people are in class, but that is an irresponsible father. Then again, I'm not entirely sure I would be any better at keeping track of children... I am technically a child now though... so something is off with me thinking this way...
I comforted her and attempted to find her father with her.
"Ok, little miss, let's go find your father."
I reached my hand to help her up, and she held on. Her small hand was soft, and I noticed her eyes puffy from crying and nose running. So I took a tissue out of my spatial ring and cleaned her face. Children always seem to flinch away from this, but she allowed me without a problem. After this, I thought about where to go, I decided to go let my teacher know that I would help this little girl find her father. Since I was early and got there before the teacher, I left a note on their desk.
After a while she talked when her sniffles dispersed, "Do you know where daddy is?"
"I don't, but I will try to find him. I am heading to the central office though."
"Is he there?"
"He will be there, eventually."
We just entered the central office, and I decided to ask the aid if she would send out an announcement throughout the school for the person who lost a daughter to come to the central office.
As we were waiting, I decided to entertain the little girl with some magic. I made a water snake and had it float around her, she smiled and started playing with it like it was a dog. Truthfully that is probably because I controlled it to act like a pet, but it was fun to observe her reaction. After quite a while her father came out of breath and said, "April, are you here?"
April shouted, "Daddy" as she ran towards him
He picked her up and hugged her while saying, "I'm so sorry sweetie"
April said, "Big miss helped me, and she has a cool snake."
He said, "Thank you very much..."
"Alexandra, or as most people call me Ally."
"Thank you very much Ally."
"It was fun playing with April, but I probably should head back to class. Bye April, see you later."
"Bye Ally."
As I left the room, I wondered if I would come across her again sometime soon. I briskly walked to class, but they were let out early and only the teacher stayed in the room. I decided that it was fine if I just said hi and left.
I left to get dinner, but Ellie appeared right in front of me.
