"Mistress, your mother has updated the card to allow for visitors. Also, she has instructed that I will teach you some basics to space magic. Even though your affinity isn't the best it is enough to learn the basics."
I thought of the guards today that disappeared from my classroom this morning, "Ellie, do you know what happened to Tristan's guards?"
She smiled and replied cheerily, "Yep."
"Did you do something?"
She just continued smiling, which made me wonder, "Did mom find out about Tristan's episode?"
Ellie smile grew bigger, so I knew that was a yes, "So I guess that the Emperor and Tristan are now being punished..."
Her grin grew sinister; my mom is rubbing more onto Ellie. I don't want to think about what mom is doing to them, you would think the Emperor would only have to answer to his parents. But my mom has gone to the palace more than once to lecture him. I'm not entirely sure of the dynamic of their relationship, but the little sister is very much the law in the family.
As I stopped contemplating about that, I told Ellie, "We should head to supper, even if Tristan won't be there everybody else will."
"Ok, I will follow you mistress."
As I lead the way to the dining hall, I found my friends minus Tristan waiting.
I told them, "Tristan won't be coming, so let's eat."
Kylie asked, "Why won't he be here?"
I just pointed with my thumb behind me to Ellie and from Kylie's expression she understood that Tristan wouldn't be coming. Since that cleared up I headed to fill my plate at the buffet. I wanted to eat out by the tree so to not be around so many people. When we all got there, I decided to summon Tina to give her some of my food.
My friends have gotten use to Tina, but Tina and Rose have a strange rivalry that I don't quite understand. Anyways, Misty can't become a familiar until she understands the contract, and I'm decently sure she hasn't his maturity so I don't want to force it.
Rose asked, "Ally, how were your classes today?"
"Um, interesting?"
"So you just ignored them didn't you..."
"I did find a child though."
"Did you find or steal a child?" (This is a joke)
"I found her, she lost her father."
"Since you make messes, I wanted to clear it up. To figure out if I needed to clean up your mess."
"I don't make messes though..."
"So you forgot the times in elementary school where you were messing with your magic in class and caused some very large craters?"
"This and that are not the same thing."
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Kylie pitched in, "She's right Ellie, you do have a tendency to get absorbed in things and cause problems."
"You too... what about you Kade and Ellie?"
Ellie just nodded and Kade answered, "Some of those may be my fault also, but you do have a track record of spacing out and causing problems..."
I decided just to stay silent during the rest of the meal as they exchanged stories about their classes. It would seem that their lectures were typically just reviews of what we have already learned at this stage.
After the meal finished, we dumped out trays and I headed back to my dorm with Tina and Ellie. When we got back Ellie took me to the training room, and yes mom even built a training room into her dorm. I'm not sure how to feel about that. Anyways, Ellie showed me the basics of space magic since it differs from most magics.
She directly made a spatial portal and told me to concentrate on the magic fluctuations from the rim of the portal. From my sight I could see that the magic seemed to pinch around the area, folding the area that it made backwards and forcing it to grasp an area past the dimension. From how the magic seems, it is the pocket that creating a magic signature to use when needed. So basically it was another dimension created and accessible to the user. The owner can make the entrance bigger and connect to the dimension through magic.
This probably sounds complicated, but to replicate something you are seeing is a rather large benefit compared to having to find something new by yourself. I tried to make my own pocket dimension right as I gained some semblance of understanding. It opened a tiny hole that shut tightly right after I opened it. I didn't notice that Ellie had a mocking grin on her face.
I gave up after my magic power depleted completely, but I found out that space magic takes far more magic power than any of the other magics I currently use.
After I gave up, I decided to mess with Tina. Since Tina usually is trying to prank me while I worked in the garden, I gave her a plant today. It isn't a usual plant, and from what I understand there shouldn't be any like it considering I cross pollinated the species a couple years ago. The interesting features is that it smells like honey, but the smell emanating off it causes temporary paralysis for a few minutes since it is only a level 2 plant. I truthfully found out the hard way the features of this plant, but the possibilities were very interesting.
"Tina, I got a new plant for you to look at."
"What is the plant?"
"I called it the sweet surprise."
"Why?"
"Here you go, find out why?"
I pulled out the plant and gave it to her. As I gave it to her she got a whiff of it and felt something was off, but she was cautious too late because she now has paralysis. She gave me a glare, and I gave her a smirk. I carry a grudge Tina and you know it.
After I put away the plant, I waited the minute until Tina wasn't paralyzed anymore. She sulked rather than start an argument, so she probably remembers why I would do this. As I chuckle to myself, I get ready for bed and say, “Night mom, dad, Ellie, Tina.” I closed my eyes and quickly entered a deep sleep, probably because Misty is the best pillow.

POV: A random high priest
The divinations have changed multiple times in that last 11 years, so a chaos child has been born. At first we didn't think it would matter as much as it would. Since a chaos child isn't taken into account in divinations, the fluctuations shouldn't change much usually until the chaos child has grown up and started to travel.
In these past years there have been 5 major changes in the divination magic. The first one was a rather large change that scared everyone. It had the demon's army marching through the continent bent on destroying. This lasted about five months and caused a massive panic in most of the countries, and when it went away, there was still lingering fear towards it.
The Elven Empire had a normal outlook turn to a bleak outlook and then to a dire outlook. These are two of the other changes, the first one had a rebel camp form and resist the upper government, which wasn't the worst. Then that changed to a civil war in the Elven Empire. This is still changing, so I'm not entirely sure what will happen to the Elves.
The other two things that popped up were that for a fleeting moment the fairies were close to extinction and currently there is a large influx of monsters going to happen. For some reason the chaos child has caused changes galore and we can only accept them for now. Everything is out of our hands and may the gods will have mercy on us.
