I am now five, laying down on my bed and thinking about everything that has happened in these years.  Truthfully, in these couple of years I have learned a lot about this world.  Well, I guess starting with the first time in the city would be interesting.  Oh yea, I forgot to talk about my new room.  I was living in my mother and father's room and when I turned one I got my room to sleep in.  

It is large and has the colors of light red and light blue as the main colors.  The floor is blue carpet, which is soft like wool, it probably is wool and the walls are painted in colors to make it seem like a gorgeous sunset in shades of red and orange with nil a cloud.  The creativity makes you wonder just what went into making this; it makes use of three-dimensional illusions.  That may also be magic, but I never received an answer for that.  

Also, I got to look at myself.  I have light red hair like father and light blue eyes like mother.  My hair is curly, and that makes it kind of hard for the maids to take care of.  I have a birthmark or a tattoo or a mark of a sun on the back of my right hand and a circle of elements on the back of my left hand.  Right now my horns are nubs. Anyways back to the trip if it could even be called that.  It was just a carriage ride and a visit to one shop.

Well, we left right after lunch, where I got a strange fruit to eat.  It looked like a star fruit, but tasted like a banana-flavored candy.  Well, those candies are based on an extinct banana species, but that is all I can relate it to because they were all gone before I born in my previous life.  Anyways, foods are awesome and everything, but they contribute little to this other than show my love of food.

My mother, Ellie the panther lady maid along with three guards went in a carriage to the town.  My mother, Ellie, and I were in the carriage while the guards were outside the carriage.  I guess it would be better to call it a medieval city crossed with modern conveniences.  Since the city had indoor plumbing and electricity, it was interesting and would be like how modern Paris is in the historical districts.  As we passed the mansions that were smaller than our mansion and continued to get smaller until we entered a shopping district.  This area had a fountain in the middle of it and shops selling mostly food, weapons, and armor surrounded that fountain.  My mom and I talked about what we saw out the window.

"Mommy, what is that?" *pointing at a store that was selling weapons and armor*

"That sweetheart is a weapons shop."

"Why do they sell weapons?"

"To fight against the monsters and protect this land against bad people."

"Can we go there?" *pointing at a jewelry store*

"Yes we can, but you must hold my hand or Ellie's hand."

"Ok mommy."

As we got out of the carriage, I noticed an interesting pendant.  It held a stone that looked like a ruby, a stone that looked like a sapphire, and a stone that looked like an emerald.  All of these stones arranged in a triangle with the ruby on top, emerald on the right and the sapphire on the left. All stones connected by a gold wire that was elegantly weaved, formed into a triangle surrounded by a circle of wire and connected to the string for the necklace portion.  I was so captivated by it I subconsciously dragged Ellie to the counter that held it.  

Enamored by the pendant, I didn't realize Ellie got mother, who bought it from the shop owner.  Mom gave me it, and I found out I could access the "system" as I called it and it gave me a detailed description of what this pendant does.

As I saw that, I was so giddy seeing the gemstones were monster cores.  It gave me something new to look into.  I will do it later.  I also wear it every day now.  After this happened, mom decided it was time to go back home because I draw too much attention and since it was my first time outside fatigue was pilling up.  She was right, considering I was only just over one-year-old.

Oh yea, mom didn't have too much of a reaction to my excessive questions after I asked them.  She had Ellie read me books when I wanted to learn things though.

During this time I learned a lot about the structure of the world.  The world told in fairy tales, but they got more in depth as I asked questions to mom and Ellie.  

This continent called Windrunner.  It's named after the first large family who ruled the continent who like most royalty, they were into naming things after themselves.  

Anyways, there are two other know continents, Dragon Continent and Wild Continent.  I will say this world's naming sense sucks.  They named them because dragons live on Dragon Continent and the Wild Continent has thousands of monsters and beasts since the other races put little stake into expanding into that continent for now.

There are four regions on Windrunner and they are north, south, east, and west.  The west of the continent dominated by humans who have a mild life span and are a jack of all master of none type of species.  I guess human mentality is about the same as my original world as they are of a supremacist mindset.  I guess that is just some kingdoms, but their kingdoms fight against each other and all humans’ fight against the beastmen because their religions contradict each other.

The southern domain is the domain of the beastmen.  They have a singular empire compared to humans that have many kingdoms. Beastmen have the same lifespan as humans, but species have unique characteristics they specifically train in.  Like most felines train in wind magic and speed while bears would train in strength and earth magic.  They also hate humans, because humans allow slavery of other species in certain kingdoms.

The northern domain has the elves that keep to their lonesome and negotiate with the other kingdoms based on their needs.  They are long lived and work with a council of elders rather than an empire in an oligarchy.  They would are very elusive and if humans capture any elf, the humans will risk a war against too many enemies.

The eastern domain is the domain of demons, my domain.  We allow most of all races as long as they can get along with everybody else.  It seems this stems from the fact that demons are a small majority in their own area.  This has allowed them to become very diverse and ahead of the curve in magical technology.  The species that can live here are demons, fairies, beastmen, humans, elves, giants, dwarves, and many other small groups of species.  

The strong will get a high court ranking and my family called the Embers got their title from helping in the war against the Windrunners.  We are actually a well respected duke family for being fair and not corrupt.  It is a tradition to allow everybody in the family to marry out of love rather than a political marriage, so yippee?  

Well I have adjusted to having a changed gender fairly well, but dresses are still uncomfortable.  Also I'm not sure how I will deal with puberty, hormones don't change the mind until then, so will I be into females or will my hormones cause me to like males.

I also never named my father he is William Embers.

Another event that happened was a play date with a few other influential families when I was three years old.  I attended with the children of another duke family, and the prince.  Their names were Kylie and Kade Winterstrike who were twins and also three years old, and the prince's name was Tristan Mist.  This also shows that my mother was a princess, and that makes Tristan my cousin.

This was fun because of all the sweets served tasted amazing and it also allowed me to meet people my age for the first time in my new life.  Kylie was the most interesting because she was the most active and talkative.  The two boys seemed to want to roughhouse the entire time, which didn't seem that fun to be honest.

I found out a lot about magic from the fairy named Tina.  I also gained the Language Comprehension: Fairy Runes from her.  She disappeared from everybody because most people would track fairies and people would try to have them be a pet.  I also now have Magic Manipulation: lvl 6 and Magic Eye: lvl 4.  Thank you little fairy!!!  Now I hope she figures out what she wants to do.

I decided to not use actual magic until I turned seven because then I could use it without the restrictions from the system as the fairy has told me via runes.  The restrictions imposed are so that the child doesn't hurt themselves or their surroundings by subconsciously using magic.  

It also seems that mana is like a molecule of oxygen in the air.  It will be consumed and turned into magical power in a core.  The core is usually placed right behind the sternum.

Magic affinities influence how fast you can learn magic and improve its level.  Each magic subtype is categorized into Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, and God that will increase from level 1-10 and then increase to the next type.  

My favorite part of the theory I learned from the fairy is that as long as life exists mana will not run out.  Living creatures draw into mana, but also create their own and when the person dies all the mana goes back into the atmosphere.  Anyways, I'm looking forward to doing magic and going to elementary school soon.  Elementary school is just a gathering of kids though.  I wonder what they consider common sense in this world and whom the new people will be like.  I start tomorrow so I hope that I won't be ostracized.
