Before the match started , Alan said laughingly, "You poor boy , you better abandon this match , You are no match for me . If any severe harm happen to your pokemon don't blame me" .
But Zachery did not reply to the Alan's provocation , the referee commenced the match .
Alan sent out lv 26 Luxio and Zachery sent out lv 24 Phanpy . Arthur was seen worried that Zachery pokemon's are not of high level since his primary pokemon has only reached lv 24.
In the intense battle between Phanpy and Luxio, Phanpy initiated the fight with a Rollout attack. However, Luxio managed to dodge it swiftly. Luxio retaliated by using Crunch on Phanpy, but Phanpy cleverly responded by summoning a Sandstorm, which hindered Luxio's movements and gradually decreased its HP. Alan, the trainer of Luxio, decided to switch things up and commanded Luxio to use Trailblaze, a grass-type move, on Phanpy. The unexpected move caught Phanpy off guard, dealing super effective damage and boosting Luxio's speed. Alan then repeated the same strategy and instructed Luxio to use Trailblaze once more. However, Zachery, the trainer of Phanpy, anticipated this move and ordered Phanpy to counterattack with Rollout.

Alan, who didn't expect Zachery to have Ninetales, sent out his Lv. 25 Haunter in response. The battle between the two Pokémon started, and both trainers carefully planned their moves.

However, Ninetales managed to win the battle by a small margin using the move Extrasensory, which dealt a significant blow to Haunter. However, Ninetales managed to land a hit on Morgrem with its Shadow Ball attack before being taken down.
Arthur was filled with anticipation to see Zachery's next move and discover his third Pokémon. Zachery took a deep breath and confidently released his level 21 Pinsir onto the battlefield.Arthur was taken aback by the sight of Pinsir being sent into battle.
The match between Morgrem and Pinsir commenced, with both Pokémon showcasing their moves and strategies. However, to everyone's surprise, Pinsir managed to secure a lucky victory with its risky move, Guillotine, despite its low accuracy.
Zachery emerged as the winner of the round, while Alan appeared frustrated and walked back to his place, contemplating the outcome of the battle.
