Chapter - 12 : Incident
---
Jerry and Arthur exited the Pokémon Center together, relieved that Zubat had received proper care and was doing well.
Arthur, your Charcadet is really strong. He knocked Zubat out in just one move," exclaimed Jerry, impressed by Charcadet's power. Arthur simply nodded and replied, "We put a lot of effort into our training."
Jerry, still puzzled, couldn't help but ask, "But where do you usually train?" Arthur explained, "We mainly train in the grasslands, but we make sure not to venture too deep into them."
Jerry jumped in fright and solemnly said, "Arthur, are you sick? Don't you know what happened a few days ago?"
Arthur shook his head, his expression filled with confusion and concern. "No, I'm not aware. What happened?"
Jerry's face turned grave as he began to explain, "Levy, our classmate, was found dead in the grasslands. It was a shocking incident. He was apparently poisoned, and his Pokémon was missing. The police have issued warnings to new trainers, urging them to avoid the grasslands."
Arthur's eyes widened with shock and disbelief. "That's terrible! I had no idea such a tragic incident occurred. How could something like that happen?"
Jerry sighed heavily. "I wish I knew. The details are still unclear, but it's a reminder that we need to be cautious and prioritize our safety. The grasslands can be dangerous."

Arthur also sighed with relief, grateful that he had not ventured deep into the grasslands during his training sessions. He had always maintained a watchful eye, but now the news of Levy's tragic incident brought a renewed sense of caution. After bidding Jerry farewell, Arthur made his way back home, his mind filled with the weight of the news he had just learned.
Entering the house, Arthur sought out his mother, Lyra, to discuss what he had heard from Jerry. Sitting down with her, he recounted the details of Levy's untimely demise and the warnings issued by the police. Lyra's expression turned somber as she confirmed the authenticity of the information.
After receiving confirmation from his mother, Arthur retreated to his room, feeling a mix of caution and determination. The recent news had served as a stark reminder of the risks involved in venturing into the grasslands, and he understood the importance of prioritizing safety.
With a resolved mindset, Arthur lay down on his bed and closed his eyes, letting sleep envelop him. Thoughts of training strategies and potential encounters with wild Pokémon swirled in his mind, but he vowed to approach them with utmost care and preparation.
Days went by, and Arthur and Charcadet continued their training in the grasslands, albeit with increased caution. Arthur remained mindful of the previous incident and refrained from venturing too deep into the potentially dangerous territory.
As the school reopening approached, Arthur decided to conclude their training sessions. He felt satisfied with the progress he and Charcadet had made, knowing that they had utilized their time well to improve their skills.
Lying on his bed, Arthur experienced a mixture of contentment and anticipation as he contemplated the future that lay ahead. As he closed his eyes, a smile played on Arthur's lips, ready to embrace the exciting journey that awaited him.
