Chapter - 10 : Planning
---
After letting in the fresh air and sunlight by opening the curtains and windows, Arthur sat down and immersed himself in deep thought. He contemplated various strategies to quickly enhance Charcadet's power and evolve it. However, his hopes of seeking assistance from the system were dashed as he realized its limitations.
The system could only inspect Pokémon and Pokémon-related items, rendering it unable to provide any guidance or aid beyond that scope. Arthur understood that he would need to rely on his own efforts and resourcefulness to help Charcadet grow stronger.
As dinner time approached, Arthur released Charcadet from its Pokéball, allowing it to join him downstairs. They made their way to the dining table where Lyra had prepared a meal for them. While Arthur enjoyed his food, Lyra served a plate of Pokémon food to Charcadet and another to her own Pokémon, Beautifly.
After the meal, Arthur and Charcadet returned to their room upstairs. Understanding Charcadet's protest against being confined in a Pokéball, Arthur decided to let it sleep beside him on the bed for the night. They settled in, ready to rest .
During the week-long break before school reopened, Arthur decided to train Charcadet in the nearby grasslands. The grasslands provided a suitable environment with various wild grass-type Pokémon that could serve as training partners for Charcadet. Arthur hoped that through consistent training and battles, Charcadet would grow stronger and develop its skills.
The next day, Arthur ventured into the grasslands on the outskirts, making sure to stay within a safe distance from the deeper areas where more powerful Pokémon resided. He took precautions to ensure that he wasn't being followed, ensuring his privacy during his training session.
As it was the afternoon and the sun was high, the grasslands were usually deserted, providing a quiet and secluded environment for Arthur and Charcadet to focus on their training.

Arthur released Charcadet from its Poké Ball and informed it about their training location in the grasslands. He motivated Charcadet by mentioning a potential reward for its hard work. Charcadet acknowledged the instruction with a nod, showing its readiness to train.
As they explored the grasslands, they soon encountered a wild Paras. Sensing their approach, Paras alerted them with warning signals. Arthur immediately called Charcadet to prepare for battle, and Charcadet assumed a fighting stance, getting ready to engage with the wild Pokémon.
"Charcadet, use Leer!" commanded Arthur. Following his command, Charcadet used Leer, causing Paras to become stunned and lowering its defense by one stage. Seizing the opportunity, Arthur instructed, "Use Ember!" Charcadet unleashed its Ember attack, overpowering Paras and causing it to faint. The victorious battle resulted in Charcadet gaining experience and nearing level 2.
After a series of victorious battles, Charcadet and Arthur decided to conclude their training session as Charcadet showed signs of exhaustion. Concerned about its well-being, Arthur took Charcadet to the nearest Pokémon Center for a check-up. The nurse at the Pokémon Center examined Charcadet and provided necessary healing and restorative care. Once Charcadet was deemed fit, they returned home.
Seeing Charcadet sleeping peacefully beside him , a smile appeared in Arthur's face . The current Charcadet status has improved and he has also successfully learned a move.
