Chapter - 56 : Registration
---
Arthur, after having heartfelt talks with his family and enjoying dinner, went upstairs to his room. As he entered his room, a rush of memories flooded his mind. He lay down on his bed, feeling the comfort and familiarity of his surroundings, and gradually drifted off to sleep, ready to embark on new adventures in the days to come.
The next day, Arthur made his way to the Pokemon Center in order to register for the upcoming competition that would take place in the entire Mirenze region, including Novuron City.
As he arrived, he noticed a long line of trainers waiting in front of the center. Without hesitation, he joined the line, patiently waiting for his turn to register and showcase his skilled team of Pokemon.
After patiently waiting for several hours, it was finally Arthur's turn. He approached the counter where a lady stood, ready to assist him. With a determined expression, he greeted her and stated his purpose.
"Good day. I'm here to register for the Pokemon tournament," Arthur said politely, eager to officially enter the competition and demonstrate his training prowess.
"May I see your ID, please?" the counter lady requested. Arthur handed her his identification card, and she swiftly entered the relevant information into the system. As she processed the registration, she inquired about Arthur's school affiliation.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
"Which school are you representing?" she asked curiously. Arthur paused for a moment before responding, "I am an independent trainer, not affiliated with any specific school. I am a wanderer." The lady nodded, noting down his response in the registration form.
"Wanderers will have their matches scheduled in Zeal City four weeks from now," she informed him, confirming the details of his participation.
In the Mirenze region, there are a total of 10 cities: Novuron City, Milosa City, Rover City, Zeal City, Arol City, Wier City, Dolen City, Tigner City, Qual City, and Peril City. Each city selects its top 100 trainers who attend the local schools, resulting in a total of 1000 trainers across all cities.
Then there will again be a knockout round between 1000 trainers and then top 100 students go further in the main competition.
In addition to the school-affiliated trainers, there are also wanderers who do not attend any school but meet the qualifying criteria to participate in the competition. These wanderers have the opportunity to compete in the Minor City Pokemon Tournament.
Among the wanderers from all the cities, only the top 10 will be selected to join the main competition. This main competition is known as the Minor Regional Pokemon Tournament. Therefore, in total, there will be 110 participants in the main tournament, consisting of the top 100 school-affiliated trainers and the top 10 wanderers.
