Chapter - 1 : Arthur Blade
---
"Ouch! It hurts!" Arthur exclaimed, clutching his head as he jolted awake in bed. Confusion enveloped him as he surveyed the unfamiliar room. "Where am I?" he wondered aloud, his eyes darting around, taking in the strange surroundings. As he attempted to swing his legs off the bed, he quickly realized that they didn't reach the floor. Startled, he exclaimed, "How did I shrink?"
Suddenly, a sharp pain pierced his head, triggering a cascade of memories. He recalled that he was now inhabiting the body of a 12-year-old boy named Arthur Blade. This young Arthur had a 5-year-old sister and a 35-year-old mother. Tragically, his father had lost his life three years ago while protecting their family from robbers who had invaded their home.
As Arthur's eyes scanned the room, they fell upon a collection of pictures and toys adorned with Pokemon imagery. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he recognized the familiar characters. "This kid must be a Pokemon fan," he mused, a sense of connection blossoming within him. "In my previous life, I was a fan of Pokemon too."
The memories of his past enthusiasm flooded back, filling him with warmth and nostalgia. He reminisced about the countless hours spent collecting Pokemon cards, battling with friends, and immersing himself in the Pokemon video games. The adventures he had embarked upon in those virtual worlds felt vivid and cherished.
"Arthur , are you alright ? " , Startled by the sudden intrusion, Arthur snapped out of his reverie and turned his attention towards the mature woman who had barged into the room. Recognizing her as the mother of the young boy whose body he now inhabited, he swiftly composed himself to avoid any confusion or identity crisis.
"I am Ok, Mom!" Arthur responded promptly, his voice laced with a mix of sincerity and urgency. He hoped that his quick reply would alleviate any suspicion and prevent further questioning about his unusual behavior. It was crucial for him to blend seamlessly into the life of this 12-year-old version of himself, at least until he could understand the circumstances of his transformation.

"I heard you shout, and it seemed like you were in pain," Lyra, Arthur's mother, said with a concerned expression etched on her face. Arthur's heart skipped a beat, realizing that his outcry hadn't gone unnoticed. He needed to think on his feet and come up with a plausible explanation to allay her worries.
"I'm alright, Mom. I just had a bad dream," Arthur replied, hoping his words would alleviate her concerns.
Relief washed over Lyra's face as she absorbed Arthur's explanation. "Oh, okay. Just get ready for school! Weren't you eagerly waiting for this day?" she said. "What day?" Arthur asked, genuine confusion furrowing his brow.
Lyra's expression softened, and she chuckled lightly. "Oh, my dear, it seems you've forgotten. Today is the day you get to choose your very own Pokemon," she explained, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes.
"Pokemon? Have I traveled to a Pokemon world?" Arthur's mind raced with excitement as the possibility began to take hold. The convergence of his memories as a Pokemon fan and the mention of choosing a Pokemon ignited his imagination. Could it be that he had indeed entered a world where Pokemon were real?
Lyra, noticing Arthur's momentary lapse, grew concerned. "Are you in any discomfort?" she asked, her worry evident in her voice. Arthur swiftly refocused his attention, realizing that he needed to respond and maintain the charade of a typical 12-year-old boy.
"No, Mom, I'm okay," Arthur reassured her, his voice laced with sincerity. He offered a warm smile, hoping to dispel any worries and convey a sense of eagerness. "How could I forget about today?" he continued, allowing his excitement to shine through.
Lyra's face brightened, her concern dissipating. "That's the spirit!Okay , now get ready for school!" Lyra exclaimed,
Arthur nodded and seeing this, Lyra went downstairs.
