Chapter - 19 : Expelled

---

After school ended, Arthur made his way to the Pokémon Center to have Charcadet checked. Upon receiving confirmation that Charcadet was in good health, Arthur returned to his home, eager to share all the exciting battles that took place at school with his mom. After a satisfying dinner, he retreated to his room and drifted off to sleep, his mind still filled with thoughts of Pokémon battles and dreams of future victories.

Next day ,

Arthur prepared for school by getting ready and picking up his bag. He bid farewell to his mom and sister before heading out. Upon reaching the school grounds, he patiently waited for Zachery and Jerry. After a short while, he spotted them at the school gate, and they promptly made their way over to Arthur.

"Arthur, you're probably going to be placed in a better section than us, but don't forget about us," Zachery teased. Arthur chuckled and replied, "Oh, of course! How could I forget my beloved sons?" Zachery pretended to act offended, asking, "Who's your son?" After remaining silent for a minute , they all burst into laughter, enjoying their playful banter.

"Arthur, Zachery, the principal is here," Jerry called out when he spotted the principal approaching the school grounds.

Everyone fell silent as the principal reached the stage, eager to hear his announcement. "Alright, everyone, we will be organizing the classes based on your rankings. There will be five classes: Class S, Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D. Class S will consist of the top 10 students, Class A will include students ranked 11 to 30, Class B will have students ranked 31 to 50, Class C will accommodate students ranked 51 to 70, and Class D will have students ranked 71 to 121," explained the principal.

"Now, I will announce the rankings from 11 to 121. These rankings are based on your performance and the number of rounds you progressed," stated the principal, and he proceeded to announce the names of the students. Arthur was placed at rank 17, earning him a spot in Class A. Zachery secured rank 49, placing him in Class B, while Jerry claimed rank 61, landing him in Class C.

"Let's discuss the perks that you will receive based on your classes," the principal announced. He explained that Class S students would receive 30,000 pokecoins and the TM Hidden Power. Class A students would be awarded 15,000 pokecoins. Class B students would receive 5,000 pokecoins, while Class C students would be given 1,000 pokecoins. Lastly, Class D students would receive 1 potion for the year, and the TM reward would vary each subsequent year.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"All the students except Arthur Blade should go to their designated classes. You will receive your perks in your respective classes," the principal declared. Confused, Arthur bid farewell to Zachery and Jerry, who went off to their respective classes. Arthur remained in the school ground, waiting.

As the ground emptied, the principal approached Arthur. "You performed very well, but you should not have provoked those you shouldn't have," the principal stated. Before Arthur could fully comprehend what had happened, the principal continued, "Your place has been swapped with Nicole Kid, and you will now be placed in Class D. As compensation, here is a Pokéball for you."

Arthur was taken aback by the sudden turn of events and the change in his class placement.

Arthur suddenly recalled that this was the girl with the Bulbasaur whom he had defeated in the first round. Now he understood the reason behind the switch, but he still looked at the principal and asked, "Why?"

The principal let out a laugh and replied, "Why, you ask? Well, let me enlighten you. It's quite simple, really. You see, my dear Arthur, you are poor."

Arthur felt a surge of frustration but didn't back down. He retorted, "But I have talent!"

The principal sneered and replied, "Talent, you say? Talent alone cannot fill our school's coffers. Do you know how much money her uncle donated to us? A whopping 50,000 pokecoins! Can you match that kind of contribution?"

Arthur was taken aback by the staggering amount of money involved. It became clear to him that financial influence played a significant role in the school's decisions, even overshadowing individual talent and effort.

Arthur took a moment to gather his thoughts and looked directly into the principal's eyes. With a determined expression, he spoke up, "If I am not welcome here, then I will gladly leave this place." He extended his hand, offering the pokeball back to the principal. "Please take this with you."

There was a brief moment of silence as the principal processed Arthur's words. Finally, the principal responded, "Very well, if that's your decision. Consider yourself expelled from this school for your alleged bad demeanor." The principal turned and walked away, leaving Arthur standing alone on the school grounds.
