"Charcadet, use Astonish!" commanded Arthur, catching Rhyhorn off guard with a surprising attack. The boy in front retaliated by commanding Rhyhorn to use Scary Face, intimidating Charcadet and reducing its speed. Undeterred, Arthur quickly responded, "Charcadet, snap out of it and use Will-o-wisp!" However, Rhyhorn cleverly shielded itself with Protect, blocking the fiery attack.
Not willing to back down, Arthur devised a new strategy, urging Charcadet to charge forward with Flame Charge. The flames engulfed Charcadet as it closed in on Rhyhorn. The boy smiled and ordered, "Rhyhorn, use Bulldoze!" The powerful move disrupted Charcadet's momentum, dealing substantial damage. Unfazed, Arthur commanded, "Charcadet, use Will-o-wisp once more!" The fiery flames hit Rhyhorn, inflicting a severe burn and weakening its attack.
With his plan beginning to unfold, Arthur breathed a sigh of relief. He continued, "Now, Charcadet, Astonish!" The surprise attack landed, damaging Rhyhorn and causing it to flinch. However, the boy quickly countered, "Rhyhorn, use Bulldoze!" Charcadet's attempt to dodge failed, and it was struck by the powerful move, severely weakening its speed.
Both Rhyhorn and Charcadet showed signs of exhaustion but Rhyhorn was in pain losing 1/8th of HP due to burn. Arthur decided to take a gamble and instructed, "Charcadet, use Flame Charge!" As Charcadet neared Rhyhorn, the boy shouted, "Protect!" Charcadet crashed into the protective barrier, but the boy didn't stop there. He commanded, "Now, Bulldoze!" The devastating move struck Charcadet, causing it to collapse and faint. Charcadet had fought valiantly but couldn't withstand the relentless assault.
The boy calmly recalled his Rhyhorn and left the stage, leaving Arthur with a mix of disappointment and determination.
Arthur approached Charcadet, picking it up gently in his arms. He spoke softly, "You did exceptionally well, Charcadet. It's time for you to rest now." Carefully, he returned Charcadet to its Pokéball, giving it the opportunity to recover and recharge.
With a determined expression, Arthur descended from the stage and made his way back to his seat. The crowd erupted in enthusiastic applause, appreciating the intense and captivating battle they had just witnessed. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and admiration for Arthur's skills and the incredible display of Pokémon battling.
