Chapter - 35 : Milosa City
---
In the previous year, Arthur's Pokémon gained a significant amount of experience during the six months when he had more resources. However, after that period, he returned to living in the forest with limited means. Nevertheless, he managed to train Charcadet and raise its level by four, while Ralts evolved into Kirlia and gained seven levels. Arthur prioritized training Ralts to make sure it grew stronger alongside Charcadet.
After spending two years in Rover City, Arthur finally believed he was prepared to embark on his adventure, guided by the map his father had left for him. He packed his bag and bid farewell to the forest, making his way firstly towards the poke mart to sell Gloden Razz Berry for which he got 3000 pokecoins and then he left towards the train station. His destination was Milosa City, and he eagerly awaited the train that would take him there.
The train arrived, and Arthur boarded it, embarking on a five-day journey to reach Milosa City. Upon his arrival, he followed the same routine he had established in Rover City. He found a place to stay, explored the city, and familiarized himself with the local mission center and Poké Mart. Arthur was ready to continue his Pokémon journey in this new location.

Upon arriving in Milosa City, Arthur quickly noticed that the city's conditions were far worse than he had anticipated. It was plagued by frequent instances of murder and robbery, with three major gangs and numerous smaller ones exerting their influence. The city was divided, much like Rover City, but the crucial difference here was the absence of law and order. The local police officials seemed indifferent to the rampant crime and unrest, making the situation even more challenging for the residents.
After a week of meticulous research and gathering information about the mountain and the Pokémon residing there, Arthur became even more determined to proceed with caution. He devised a plan to spend the next 3-4 months training his Pokémon on the outer layer of the mountain, honing their skills and strengthening their bond. Once he felt confident in their abilities, he would venture into the inner layer of the mountain, following the clues from his father's map in search of the hidden location. He understood the importance of preparation and training before embarking on this potentially perilous journey.
The following day, Arthur's disappointment lingered as he realized the black market had yielded no fruitful results. Despite his efforts and hours of searching, he had not come across any valuable items. With a heavy heart, he made the decision to proceed with his original plan of heading to the mountain the next day. Feeling disheartened, he returned to his hotel room and sought solace in sleep, hoping for a better outcome in the days to come.
