Chapter - 20 : Thank you , Mom
---
Arthur continued on his way, deep in thought. Despite the doubts that lingered in his mind, he ultimately felt a sense of conviction that he had made the right choice. Remaining in Class D wouldn't bring him any benefit; it would only be a waste of his time. There was no guarantee that a similar situation wouldn't arise again next year. With a firm resolve, he decided to chart his own path forward, away from the confines of the school.
Unaware of what awaited him, Arthur reached his home, eagerly anticipating a moment of solace and comfort. He took a deep breath, preparing himself to enter, but his anticipation quickly turned into surprise as he realized that the door was locked. In that moment, a realization dawned upon Arthur. He remembered that his mother, dedicated and hardworking, would be at the factory, and his younger sister would be attending kindergarten.
Since he doesnot had the keys , so he decided to wait for his mom's arrival by the door.
As he waited by the locked door, he took the opportunity to collect his thoughts and formulate a plan. He refused to let this setback dampen his spirit or hinder his progress. With a determined mindset, he began considering his options and brainstorming the next steps to take.
Hours passed by , finally, Arthur spotted his mother and sister approaching their house. His mother's eyes widened in surprise when she saw Arthur standing there, earlier than them. His sister, Lyra, looked up at him with innocent curiosity, wondering how he had managed to arrive ahead of them. With a smile, Arthur knelt down to Lyra's level and gently replied, "Sometimes, little sis, I have a few tricks up my sleeve."
Arthur locked eyes with his mother and, with a subtle nod, gestured for them to move inside the house. Lyra nodded , unlocking the door and inviting everyone inside.
Once inside, Arthur retrieved his pokeball and released Charcadet, who emerged with a burst of energy. Seeing the playful gleam in Rose's eyes, he suggested, "How about you play together, Rose? Charcadet can join you too."
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Rose's face lit up with delight as she eagerly agreed, taking Charcadet's hand and leading him towards the living room where their toys awaited.
Arthur and Lyra went to the living room . "Arthur, what happened today? Why were you home before us?" she asked anxiously.
Taking a deep breath, Arthur began recounting the events that had transpired at school. He shared the unjust treatment he had received, the unexpected expulsion, and his decision to leave. His mother listened intently, her expression shifting from surprise to a mixture of understanding .
With a determined glint in her eyes, Arthur's mother reassured him, "My dear, it's not the school that defines your worth. You are talented, resilient, and deserving of better opportunities. We will find a way forward, together."
Arthur gathered his strength and looked at his mother with determination. "Mom, I've made a decision. I need to go on a journey if I want to become stronger." He continued , "I believe this journey will help me grow as a trainer and face new challenges. It's something I have to do to reach my full potential."
His mother listened attentively, her face displaying a range of emotions. She understood his determination but also felt the weight of worry as a mother would.
"Arthur, I can see how determined you are, but embarking on a journey is not an easy decision. There are risks and challenges that lie ahead. Have you considered all the factors? Your safety and well-being are my utmost concern."
Arthur nodded, acknowledging her concern. "I understand, Mom. I know it won't be easy, but I'm willing to face the challenges. I want to test my abilities, train my Pokémon, and become a skilled trainer."
His mother sighed, a mixture of worry and acceptance. "If this is truly what you want, I will support you, Arthur. But promise me you will prioritize your safety, make wise choices, and stay in touch with us."
Arthur smiled, grateful for his mother's understanding. "Thank you, Mom. I promise I will be careful and keep in touch"
