ARC 18: Chapter 631 - Fitting Punishment

A Lakshman, that appeared to be unharmed and uninjured, appeared out of nowhere and delivered a powerful blow to the Ancient Evil’s gut, stunning him. Then he proceeded to slam against his enemy’s back, causing the evil being to bend his body and open his mouth and, in the process, the Phoenix Titan summoned a tube out of nowhere and thrust its contents into the open mount of his enemy.

There was a pause in which the Ancient Evil locked eyes with Lakshman, and the moment passed as the evil creature did not swallow the liquid substances that was forced into his mouth. Lakshman noticed this and made a look of frustration on his face as he thought to himself.

“Damn! He didn’t swallow it, and he’s going to spit it out!”

So, he shouted the name of his ally, “Nara!”

In an instant, the War Titan appeared to fall from the sky and landed with a bang on the ground before clamping their enemy’s mouth shut with his large hands. The Ancient Evil was momentarily stunned by this unexpected action, but he quickly recovered and was about to retaliate when the Sword Titan appeared in front of him and stabbed his golden sword through his chest while saying a technique out loud.

“Paralysing Blade!”

The pain from the sword stabbing hurt him, and he suddenly found himself unable to move as blood slowly dripped out and fell from his stab wound. Even so, the creature of destruction and shook off this momentary pain as he was about to force his hand to attack his foe.

“I don’t think so!” Lagron declared from right behind him, much to the ancient creature’s increasing surprise.

The Dragon Titan appeared right behind him and spoke those words before grabbing both of his enemy’s arms and pulling them back. Doing so caused sounds of cracking and breaking sound to come from the arms, which was the sound of the enemy’s arms breaking.

The Ancient Evil widened his eyes with pain and tried to scream, but he just could not do so since Nara clamped his mouth shut, hard. Despite the painful experiences that just had occurred, the evil being was still not done and was about to use his only option to attack them; his feet. However, they too were nullified when the ground beneath them suddenly caved in and water appeared, submerging their feet in the process.

“Iska,” said Valerian as he appeared from under the water and grabbed hold of his enemy’s legs.

The moment he activated his magic with the magic words, the entire water suddenly turned into ice, freezing all of their legs in the process. The Storm Titan, who was submerged in the water at that moment, was also frozen in place with his hold tightly over their enemy’s legs.

In a show of teamwork, the Dragon Titan, the War Titan, the Storm Titan and the Sword Titan worked together to keep their enemy from moving around freely. All of them with filled with determination to stop him at any cost and put themselves at great risk to do it.

Even after all of this done to him, their enemy was still not subdued and instead seemed to become desperate. He could not use his mouth, hands, feet and even his body, but he could use his magic. So, he activated his magic by using Voiceless Incantation and unleashed Black Thunder upon all of them.

All of them began to scream from the extreme pain they were experiencing because of the devastating attack. Yet, they braced themselves and fought against the pain to let go of their hold over their enemy.

At that moment, Lakshman appeared beside his enemy and raised his fist into the air before delivering it down while shouting, “Maga Distrab!”

He delivered a powerful blow against his enemy’s head, causing him to get shocked by the attack and, at the same time, his magic spell cancelled out the Black Thunder, where it got destroyed with the sound of breaking glass. Then he proceeded to slam his fist down repeatedly against his enemy’s face while repeatedly shouting only two words.

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

“Drink it!”

The last impact released a violent wind against all of them and buffeted them, but nothing else happened. The enemy, who was bleeding profusely from his head, remained firmly fixed on not swallowing the contents of the liquid substance by any means. This frustrated Lakshman, but he suddenly got an idea.

He proceeded to use his hands and forcefully pinched his nose very tightly and blocked all air from being sucked by the nose of his enemy. The Ancient Evil was alarmed by this and opened his eyes wide as he no longer could breathe through his mouth.

Once again, he attempted to use his magic on them to free himself, but Lakshman slammed his fist down hard against his face and activated Maga Distrab so that only the enemy’s spells would be destroyed. He was mindful that the Sword Titan was using his magic from his sword to keep him in place and the Storm Titan stopping all of their movement in the process.

Like this, their enemy was kept at bay and unable to do anything in retaliation. Soon, he started to lose consciousness as he could not breathe in air that Lakshman was managing by forcefully keeping his nose shut tight.

“Damn! He’s losing consciousness!” Nara stated as he noticed the change.

“No! He’s going to die!” Dominic remarked, noticing the lack of air to breathe was slowly kill him.

“That’s not good!” Lagron said in alarm. “If the bastard dies and revises and the moment that happens, he’ll blast all of us away with his magic!”

At that moment, their leader reassured them by saying, “Don’t worry. I got an idea.”

Not mentioning what the idea was, Lakshman continued to keep the enemy’s nose closed so that he could not breathe and muttered, “Doppler.”

In an instant, a copy of himself exited right out of him and stood facing them. The copy and Lakshman glanced at one another before giving each other a silent nod to put the idea to good use.

So, the Lakshman copy moved over to the back of their enemy and asked the Dragon Titan, “Lagron, could you give me some room to work here?”

“Uh? What?” Lagron asked, looking thoroughly bewildered by what was happening.

Not waiting around for him to understand and approve, the copy of Lakshman bent his head and stood tall between the arms of his enemy that were being pulled back by Lagron. Then he took a fighting stance and pulled his fist back while his rival complained from behind.

“Hey. There’s not enough space for the both us to fit in here, you know?”

“It’s okay. It’ll be over in an instant,” the copy of Lakshman replied with positivity. Then he gathered an immense amount of energy and channelled it into his arm using Energy Force and unleashed it all on their enemy’s back while shouting, “Sosakave!”

His fist berried itself firmly on his enemy’s back and, in that moment, the gathered enormous energy suddenly was unleashed and smashed heavily against the Ancient Evil. A powerful wind and shock wave was released as the dynamic attack thoroughly shocked the enemy and caused every body in his back to break.

At the same time, the attack was so powerful that it made him feel the wind get knocked out of him, but he could not use his mouth. With the War Titan making sure to clamp his mouth shut tight, the Ancient Evil involuntarily swallowed the liquid fluid that he was desperately trying hard not to swallow.

Seeing this, Nara exclaimed with delight, “He drank it!”

“Yes!” Dominic celebrated happily.

“Finally!” Lagron shouted triumphantly.

The copy of Lakshman, that unleashed the attack, smiled before turning into a small light and flew over to Lakshman before merging into it. Once he was merged, Lakshman let go of his nose and told the others something that startled them.

“Let him go, guys.”

“What?” Nara asked, looking bewildered.

“You sure, Lucky?” Dominic asked cautiously.

“Yeah. I’m sure,” replied his friend with a smile as he stared at their enemy. “He’s harmless now.”

They continued to hesitate before finally believing in him and nodding at him in acceptance. So, Nara withdrew his hands from clamping his enemy’s mouth shut, Dominic deactivated his sword magic pulled his sword out his enemy’s chest, Lagron let go of his enemy’s arms and Valerian unfroze the ground and caused the water to disappear.

“Ugh!” The Ancient Evil grunted with pain and fell flat on his face since he could not use his arms and had no support of his back as they were broken.

“Ouch,” remarked Nara coldly. “That must’ve hurt, right?”

Their enemy glared up at them as they towered over him and exclaimed, “You…! What did you do…?!”

“Hmm! Why don’t we speak properly after patching you up a bit?” Lakshman asked with a smile. Then he aimed his hand at his sprawled enemy and said, “Heal.”

In an instant, their enemy was surrounded by a glowing light that acted to heal his injuries. Within minutes, his broken back and arms were restored, and all the injuries he sustained from the beating from earlier were closed off completely. Once the healing was done, he pushed himself up to his feet while looking at his arms with a strange expression.

“What is this?” He asked as he stared at his hands with a look of shock coming over his face. Then he looked at them and asked, “Why can’t I feel the Force?”

He attempted to attack them with some kind of magic spell, but nothing happened. He even seemed to try to use his energy to attack, but that too has failed to activate. In fact, he began to realise that he could no longer feel the Force.

As such, he became mad with rage and demanded, “What was that that you made me drink? What have you done to me?!”

The five Nine Pillar of Power only chuckled in reply at seeing the pain he must be experiencing before Lakshman felt pity on him and stated, “It did one thing that it was meant to do: destroy your Force Foundation.”

His words made his enemy widen with utter shock and exclaim, “What?!”

“The drink that I gave you is something that acts to destroy the user’s Force Foundation, which is the very core that allows them to use the Force such as the Energy Force, Weapon Force and the Magic Force. Without it, you are just like an ordinary man without powers,” said Lakshman and smiled serenely at him.

Contrary to his happy mood, his enemy’s mood turned sour as he was utterly devastated by what he just heard, which he displayed as he exclaimed, “You’re telling me that I can’t use the Force anymore?!”

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

“That’s right,” replied Lakshman simply.

The Ancient Evil was utterly shocked by this shocking revelation before exclaiming, “How is this possible?! In fact, who are you?!” He pointed towards where an injured version of Lakshman was still kneeling on the ground and said, “You’re not the one I’ve been fighting till now! He was, so who the hell are you?!”

His frustration made the others smile with triumph as Lakshman said, “Why don’t we start from the moment I woke up?”

He explained that after waking up, he left to join the battle, but first, he stopped by to check on Wolfenstine. While there, he asked the Hybrid Vampire-Werewolf about a serum that the mad scientist had claimed he had been working on when he visited him on returning to the kingdom after coming home from Alzard world.

Lakshman remembered how he was guided by the fully transformed hybrid scientist to his laboratory in the middle of the battle. After going in and getting the serum, he handed it over to his young friend.

“So, this is the serum that’ll destroy a person’s Force Foundation?” Lakshman asked him as he took the serum tube from him.

“Yes,” said Wolfenstine with a nod of his head. “I made it as a backup in case we end up fighting against an enemy we just simply cannot overpower,” but he grew more serious and warned hum, “but it’s the only one of its kind that I managed to make, and its untested, so be very careful with it.”

Lakshman was, at first, bothered by this, but he made sure to ask, “But you are sure it will work?”

“I am 90% sure it will work,” his scientist friend replied firmly.

“Then I’ll take those chances.”

Wolfenstine was surprised by the level of confidence that the young man had in him and asked, “Are you sure? I could be wrong.”

“In the past too, when I questioned you about the other liquids and armours, you gave me the same reassurance, and they all worked. Regretfully, the armours weren’t prepared to withstand against the might of a crazy strong monster, but they did their job nonetheless to protect the warriors against the Demon Kings. So, I feel inclined to take the chance.”

This made the mad scientist feel very touched and moved forward to hug him very tightly with tears streaming down his furry face.

Just before leaving the place, he reassured Wolfenstine by saying, “Don’t worry. The damages will be reverted, the people will return to normal, and the dead won’t stay dead.”

His statement made the larger man very surprised and made him ask, “Really? Are you talking about Restoration?”

To that, the Phoenix Titan shook his head and replied, “No. It’s a different kind of spell, and it’s a very difficult one. I recently mastered it, but I don’t think I’m fully prepared to do it. Still, difficult times call for difficult actions, and mine is a necessity one as I’m the only one who can do it.”

He had spoken those words with a smile, to which Wolfenstine smiled back at him sympathetically.

Returning to the present, he went on to state, “After taking the serum, I left and came here and used Thousand Army spell to help the wounded and the injured. On my here, however, I suddenly worried that fighting you head on would be risky since you showed the ability to track my every move, so I used Doppler and made the other me go to confront you while I headed over to my allies to get them back up to full strength for my grand plan.”

The last few words he uttered was a joke that made both him and his allies to laugh while greatly angering their enemy.

“After you murdering everyone, and my duplicate using Real Fiction to bring everything back to normal, I worried when I heard you were not immortal. I was unsure as what to do since my plan was deal with you as you were an immortal, but as expected, you overpowered us and regained your immortality. But doing so, you’ve also sealed your own fate.”

Lakshman smiled while his enemy looked furiously at him.

“The rest you should know by now as you’ve become a living example of what a genius Wolfenstine truly is,” he remarked proudly.

“You’re telling me… you did all of this… without me realising it!” The Ancient Evil exclaimed furiously.

Yeah, and the best part of it all; I did all of this right under your nose,” replied Lakshman, and he rubbed his own nose to mock his enemy.

The mockery and the laughter from the others finally made the Ancient Evil snap and fly into a blind rage. He suddenly charged straight towards him while roaring like an angry beast. Upon reaching him, he began to unleash a barrage of fists and kicks at him, but all of them were easily dodged by the Phoenix Titan, who retaliated by delivering a single but a powerful punch straight to his enemy’s face. This sent him flying away before crashing to the ground.

“You bastard!” The evil creature snarled at him.

“You’re not a threat so long as you’re like a vegetable,” commented Lakshman with a smile.

“I’m not a vegetable!” The Ancient Evil growled.

He jumped to his feet and tried very hard to manifest his Force to use his powers. His face contorted by the amount of effort he was putting into trying to try and regain control over his Force. Seeing his efforts made Dominic, Nara, Lagron, Valerian and Lakshman to start laughing as they found it very funny.

“He looks to be in so much agony!” Nara commented with a laugh. “It’s almost like he’s trying to go to the bathroom after holding it back for centuries!”

“Don’t flat out say that! It’s rude, although let’s make it an exception just for him,” said Dominic as he too laughed at the joke his friend made.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he was trying to lay an egg from such effort!” Lagron remarked with a snort of laughter. “I wonder what colour it’ll be.”

The Ancient Evil glared at them laughing at his predicament and exclaimed, “You think this is funny?!”

“Yes. We think its hilarious,” replied Dominic with a smile. “It’s a suitable fate considering all the evil that you had done in the past.”

“Yeah! Especially since you probably did the same to your numerous enemies; laughing as they suffered in your hands!” Nara stated with a grin on his face.

“Not to mention the chaos you caused in our lives by enjoying what you were doing, so what’s so wrong about us enjoying the sight of you looking like a total clown!” Lagorn stated smugly.

As the five of them laughed once again, their enemy glared at them fiercely and shouted, “You think you’ve won?! Think again! I’m immortal, you bastards!” Their laughter slowly died at this, and he began to smile as he asked, “So, what will you do with me now? You can’t kill me, nor can you control me. Or maybe put me in some kind of prison to atone for my sins?”

He laughed at his own statement that made the others look at him with disgust.

Lakshman, however, smiled at his enemy and said, “Yes. I do plan of putting you in prison, but it’s not the prison that you’re thinking off.”

“Huh?” His enemy reacted with surprise and confusion.

The Phoenix Titan said coolly to his friends, “Do the honours, guys.”

“With pleasure!” Nara said and cracked his knuckles with an excited smile on his face.

Without a word, he surged with power and charged towards the Ancient Evil and began to unleash a rapid barrage of fists against his body. Finally, he sent him flying into the air by delivering a powerful punch straight to the face.

“This is for all the hits your servant did to me!” He said sharply.

The enemy flew away only to be met with a multiple sword slices and cuts all over his body as Dominic swung his sword in an incredible speed. He was landing slashes all over his body in a quick succession before his enemy could resort to defend himself. Finally, he landed a heavy blow down his head and send a wind wave that propelled the Ancient Evil flying away.

“This is for all the injuries you did to us!” Dominic said fiercely.

The blow sent the creature of destruction flying only to be met with Lagron, who grabbed his face and shouted, “Dragon Thunder!”

A brilliant yellow lighting burst forth from his hands and began attacking the enemy, causing him to feel an immense pain from the attack. It also stunned him, which further allowed him to get zapped by the thunder attack. Taking this opportunity, Lagron began to punch every aspect of the enemy’s body as hard as he could that caused a heavy damage on his opponent.

Then he head butted him before shouting in his face, “This is for disrespecting us!”

He tossed his badly injured enemy towards where Valerian stood. Upon reaching him, the evil creature glared at him only to be met with a cold state that seemed to look into his soul. The Storm Titan then pointed at him and muttered a single word that is a magic spell.

“Zaktra.”

In an instant, a small ball of lightning formed on his fingertip before he launched it at his enemy. Just as it made contact with his enemy, the Storm Titan leaped away as the small sphere of lightning expanded to a massive size, enveloping its target. A moment later, the lightning began to erupted from the sphere and fly everywhere, but it was quickly contained by a barrier that Lakshman cast.

“That’s for hurting so many innocent people here,” said Valerian coldly as he stared at his own attack.

A few minutes later, the sphere diminished and vanished into thin air, leaving behind a thoroughly disgruntled Ancient Evil. The creature of destruction’s clothes got torn apart by the attack, leaving only a few rags to give him an uncivilized appearance.

“Quite fitting,” commented Lakshman as he walked towards him.

The enemy snorted and asked, “Is that all you got? Despite making me lose my control over my Force, you’re still weak!”

To that, Lakshman chuckled and replied, “That’s okay, because having great strength alone isn’t enough to beat you; we need to be smarter as well and that’s why we won.”

“Like hell you won! I’m still here and alive!” His enemy replied scornfully.

Lakshman looked at him with a cool expression that had a mix of seriousness in it, making his appearance all that cool to look at. Then he vanished only to reappear directly standing in front of his enemy, who reacted with surprise and even took a step back reflexively.

In that instant, the Phoenix Titan gathered an immense amount of energy and channelled the Energy Force into his arm. As he did, his arm became so powerful that the clothes began to tear apart as it momentarily grew slightly in size. Then he unleashed a devastating uppercut that was so powerful that a powerful wind and a shock wave got released from it.

“This is for all the people you killed till now!” Lakshman bellowed and sent their enemy hurting into the sky.

The speed at which the Ancient Evil flew was so incredibly fast was that within seconds, he became nothing but a spec from looking up from the ground. Still, he continued to fly at the tremendous speed at which he was sent flying at and soon, he broke through the atmosphere of the world. In the process of flying up, he began to get burnt up by the air around him that made him scream out in agony. By this time, his speed was rapidly decreasing and once he entered space, his speed became that of floating at a slow pace.

Lakshman’s attack had stunned him, so he did not immediately realise what had happened. So, when he recovered from the attack and felt a strange lack of air or motion around him, he looked around and realised he was floating in space. Looking down, he saw the large spherical world that he was ejected from by a brutally devastating punch from the Phoenix Titan.

He began to wonder what he must do as the lack of air was slowly suffocating him when he sensed someone coming up. Looking down, he saw that the Phoenix Titan was charging towards him at high speed while the barrier around him kept him safe from the atmospheric and safely arrived in space to hover in front of his enemy.

“Air Bubble,” muttered Lakshman, causing another barrier to form around him to allow him to breathe in space.

“So, your decision was to send me into space?” The Ancient Evil tried to ask, but no words came out as he realised there did not appear to be any kind of sound that could travel through space.

“You’re probably wondering why I sent you here,” said a familiar voice, and he instantly recognised it to be the Phoenix Titan’s voice, “and its to put you in prison.”

“Put me in prison? How exactly is that possible in space when I can’t die?” The Ancient Evil thought to himself in confusion.

He heard his enemy chuckle and reply telepathically, “It’s exactly because you’re an immortal that it’s a fitting prison for you. It’s right over there.”

Lakshman pointed to something that was located behind his enemy, who turned around to see what he was pointing at. All he could see was the sun and nothing else that looked remotely like a prison to him. He turned around and gave him a perplexed expression, but Lakshman smiled nonetheless.

“It’s the sun, the brightest and centre of our world that sustains life with its warmness as we speak,” he said telepathically, “but imagine what happens if someone or something fall into it? What do you think happens to them?”

The question suddenly made the Ancient Evil begin to fear what the Phoenix Titan had in store for him. He looked scared and began gesturing for him to not do it while shaking his head repeatedly. He quickly stopped doing that and put his hands over his mouth and nose as the lack of air had begun to kill him.

Seeing this, Lakshman smiled and said telepathically, “It’s a fitting end for a destructive being such as yourself.”

Then he surged with power and soared towards his enemy, who looked on with horror. He attempted to move or even use his Force once again but to no avail before receiving a deadly punch from his enemy. The attack was incredibly powerful and it sent the evil creature hurtling through space and straight in collision with the sun.

“No! This is not possible! No!” The Ancient Evil attempted to scream, but no words came out as he flapped his mouth helplessly as he hurtled straight towards the sun.

“This is now your eternal prison for all the crimes you’ve committed and the atrocities you carried out in the name of your God, a prison that you will escape from,” said the calm voice of the Phoenix Titan telepathically. Then, in a casual voice, he added, “Enjoy your stay.”

The moment he entered its perimeter, the intense heat began to sear his skin and began to burn him alive. The speed of his flight was fast and thus, he flew quickly and smashed into the core of the sun. Within a second, the Ancient Evil was incinerated while his screams never left his flailing mouth.

There was a moment of pause before particles of blood began forming very near to the core of the sun. Soon, the evil creature materialised in his entirety only to wake up and feel the incinerating fury of the sun before vanishing like before. Once again, his blood particles gathered and took his shape while being very close to the core.

Every time he regained consciousness, he was met with the wrath of the sun as he felt himself burning alive and being unable to do anything about it before being vaporized into nothingness. Yet the hell did not end there. His immortality kept him alive and it made him materialise once more only to face the same unbearable pain like before and die by being burnt to a crisp only for the cycle to repeat.

It was a deadly prison for the ancient creature of destruction, a never-ending cycle of death and rebirth, experiencing the feeling of returning to life only to face the hell of being burnt alive and dying with the cycle set on repeat. There was no pause, no rest, and certainly no mercy shown to such a creature that spent years causing chaos, destruction, and in the process, taking the lives of so many and attempting to destroy the world. A just punishment for a fitting crime.

Lakshman watched him from afar, being incinerated over and over again after returning to life in one second only to die in the next. This satisfied him. He felt no pity nor mercy for it, only that seeing it suffer cooled his boiling anger that he felt towards it and caused his heart to feel relief that he had avenged all the lives it had taken by putting the creature of destruction in an eternal suffering.

Feeling happy and satisfied, he surged with power and cast a barrier around himself before soaring back down to the surface of his world, leaving behind an enemy that was doomed to live only to helplessly die in an endless cycle of death and rebirth.
