Asura remained on the ground, staring around at the destruction before turning his attention towards the alien spaceship. While wondering whether to head to the ship or not, the three-eyed person suddenly teleported to his location and stood several meters away. He was amazed that his enemy had come seeking him instead of it being the other way around.
“Hey. It’s been a while?” asked Asura as he greeted this familiar enemy.
“It certainly has. Ten days?” The three-eyed person replied with a question of his.
Asura was amazed and responded with a question.
“So, you remember me?”
“How could I forget you?”
“Yeah. I suppose it is difficult to forget about the enemy that defeated you previously,” replied Asura with a small chuckle, “but I am amazed that you survived after such a, how do I put it? Crushing defeat?”
The three-eyed person’s face distorted a little because of his rage that attempted to make itself known to the other person. However, he maintained a cool demeanour and replied, “The past is not important. Here and now, I’m ready to defeat you.”
“You say that, but…” began Asura, and he looked around their surroundings before saying, “your men are down, and you appear to be the last one standing. Well, other than your spaceship over there anyway.”
“You can just focus on me now because I’ll be the one to defeat you,” said the three-eyed person confidently. “Remember my name as Regnil, the man that defeated you!” As Asura raised an eyebrow in surprise, the man that named himself as Regnil continued to say, “I never got to tell you my name in our previous battle, so I’m making it clear to you so that you forever remember at whose hands you faced utter defeat at!”
Asura was unimpressed, and he made it clear by saying, “Asura’s my name, and you may want to remember it since you’ll be dead at the end of this.”
Regnil smirked and said, “Good luck!”
In the next moment, he began to surge with incredible power, and he started radiating greenish-violet aura that surrounded him as the wind blew wildly in all directions. At the same time, this caused a tremor to shake the ground. The tremors intensified started to increase as more and more power was unleashed, causing the man to start screaming with intense fury.
“UUUURRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!”
He suddenly clapped his hands together in front of him and shouted technique names one by one without pause.
“Maxtem Metia: Jaix!”
In an instant, a small ball of air materialised out of nowhere, spinning rapidly as it as it absorbed the air around him. A moment later, it shot forward like a speeding bullet, so fast that Asura was unable to keep it in sight and, before he knew it, the attack was already upon him and smashed forcefully into his chest. He groaned as he was thrown several meters away with incredible force, smashing through several buildings before he came to a crashing stop.
“Wow! What was that? I couldn’t follow it at all!” He muttered, rising to his feet and turning around to face Regnil, who had followed after him.
Soaring through the air, the three-eyed person aimed his right hand towards Asura and said, “Mudga!”
As soon as he finished saying the magic spell, a magic circle formed beneath Asura and a muddy water with great weight sudden exploded from all sides. Initially startled, Asura quickly recovered and leaped into the air, but he was countered when Regnil activated another of his technique.
“Quailiga!”
A magic circle formed above, and the warrior as forcefully blasted towards the boggy area and sank into it. A moment later, he burst out of it covered in mud from top to bottom, and he tried to move away but the unsteady footing made him stumble and falter with each move he made, unable to stand firmly in it.
“What the hell is this?!” Asura exclaimed in a sharp voice, not understand what the boggy thing was, or why he was having difficulty getting a good footing.
“It’s called Mudga,” replied Regil, as if that simple word explains it all.
Sure enough, Asura understood the meaning of the situation he was in, and he groaned as he said, “Quagmire, ah? You’d usually find them in swampy places. This is a first time seeing it, or rather, being affected by it.”
“Well, have a good experience of it because this will be your grave,” stated Regnil, who aimed his hand towards his foe and said, “Brass!”
In an instant, the muddy substance instantly became solid, and Asura found himself unable to move. It felt more like he was being turned into a statue, as the muddy substance solidified around him and made it impossible for him to move. Regnil did not stop there however because he instantly activated another spell that would surely snuff out his foe’s life.
“Blubbrass!”
In an instant, the remaining Quagmire closed in on Asura and began covering him until he was completely hidden. It latches onto all the body that it could cover and instantly solidified, transforming the muddy substance into another solid form that began to suffocate Asura, who was unable to breathe in air due to the solid state of the Quagmire surrounding him.
“It’s my win,” claimed Regnil with a smile.
“You villains love jumping to conclusions, don’t you?” Asura’s voice said telepathically.
“What?!” Regnil exclaimed, looking utterly shocked.
A tremor began to occur in the vicinity he was in and it soon intensified, and the wind began to blow quickly around them. A few seconds later, cracks started appearing on the solid form before they exploded into pieces and were sent in all directions while Asura came out roaring wildly.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!”
Chunks of the solid mud was scattered in all directions, and Regnil aimed his hand at those flying in his direction before saying, “Trem Abs.”
A large metallic shield appeared out of thin air, and he grasped it with one hand and held it towards the flying chunks. They smashed into the heavy shield, causing it to shake a little from the collision, but Regnil did not move from his spot and successfully defended himself before the shield vanished, and he focused his attention back on his enemy. By then, Asura was free from the solid stuff that had imprisoned him, and he looked towards the alien before showing him a faint smile.
“I would’ve been finished if I wasn’t as strong as I am,” he said, smiling as if he found the whole thing as something like a spectacle, “but your technique is lacking. Here’s how you stop your enemy,” and he aimed his hand at Regnil before uttering the magic spell, “Movement Zone: Stop.”
Two magic circles appeared, one beneath and one above Regnil and instantly froze his movement. The alien warrior was startled when he suddenly found that his body was unresponsive to his command. He was unable to even make his three-eyes blink, although, he still retained his ability to see and hear the things happening in front and around him.
Asura slowly walked towards his frozen foe and, when he was up close, he stopped and showed him a pleasant smile.
“How does it feel to be stopped?” He asked smoothly.
His enemy stared daggers into him with his eyes and, much to Asura’s surprise, telepathically said, “Yes. This certainly feels strange, stopped using magic that’s quite different to how I use it.”
“Oh? You can still use magic even though being in such a bad predicament?”
“I can do more than just talk. Demolition,” Regnil replied and followed it with a spell name.
In an instant, the ground around Asura began exploding with great intensity, causing the wind to blow wildly and buffet Asura. The Solaris Hero, whose Elemental Sense magic spell triggered an alarm just moments before this occurred, allowed him to safely evade the explosions by backing away at an incredible speed. Then he watched his enemy get surrounded by a blue light before a sound of breaking glass occurred, allowing the three-eyed person to break free from Asura’s binding spell.

“And I’ve just shown you that it’s easy to break free from,” said Regnil with a smile full of confidence. He was a little disappointed when he saw that Asura merely looked intrigued and asked him, “You aren’t shocked?”
Asura smirked and said, “Kind of, yes because my victims were never able to use their powers while bound by that spell.” Then, as if reasoning with his own statement, he chuckled and said, “Then again, I only fought people from my world and demons from the Demon World. So, this is my first time fighting an alien such as yourself that can escape the clutches of my spell.”
“Even though you know that your spells don’t have a hold over me, you’re still maintaining your confidence? Where do you get it from?”
“It comes from years and years of fighting whoever dared to come against me,” replied Asura with a serious look on his face. He pointed a finger at his enemy and said, “You’re just another one that must go down. That’s all there is to it.”
With that, he extended his hand to the right as if he was expecting to catch something. Soon enough, the Golden Trident, which had been thrown aside in their earlier battle, came flying into his hand. He caught it firmly and spun it around several times skilfully before rushing towards his enemy at a blinding speed. In an instant, he appeared before his enemy and attempted to pierce the trident into Regnil’s chest but was suddenly blocked when he hit an invisible barrier.
“Good try,” commented the alien, aiming his hand at Asura and activated a magic spell to attack him with.
The Solaris Hero snorted and muttered, “Maga Distrab.”
In an instant, a loud sound of breaking glass occurred and both the barrier and the alien’s attack spell were destroyed. Regnil was taken aback by this unexpected move and was confused how it happened, which left him momentarily vulnerable. Asura did not miss the chance as he pulled his trident towards the side and swung it in an arc in the alien’s direction.
The moment the trident completed the arc, a violent blast of wind was unleashed and it swept forward with incredible force. It completely enveloped the alien and continued to sweep away with incredible force, but it was suddenly broken when Regnil split it apart by exerting his powers while roaring loudly. As he landed, he saw Asura charging towards him while his Hero Weapon glowed dimly with a golden light.
The three-eyed person held his hands out and conjured two energy blades from out of thin air. Grabbing them his hands, he began swinging them towards Asura, causing multiple blades of energy to fly at the incoming hero. He was amazed when Asura, not bothering to slow down at all, soared between them like a flash and reached where he stood before swinging his trident in his direction.
They began to clash at close quarters and the fight caused the ground to shake with each impact of their blades smashing against their opponent’s weapons. The skilful movements Regnil was performing in evading and striking at his opponent showed how skillful he was with dual wielding his energy swords. However, Asura matched his moves with relentless attacks with his trident despite it being his first time fighting with the weapon.
“If it was a sword, this would’ve been over in an instant!” Asura thought in amusement, seeing that his skill with the trident was not on par with his swordsmanship.
After clashing several times, Asura sent his enemy away by the wild blowing wind that was unleashed when he swung his trident in an arc. At the same time, he switched the trident to his other hand and fired a wave of destruction towards his flying enemy with his freed right hand. The alien saw the attack coming and forcefully stopped himself in mid-flight before leaping high into the air, letting the wave of destruction pass by and explode several meters away.
He aimed his hand down at Asura and said, “Gal Searbled.”
The air started to blow faster around him and split into several blades of wind that rained down on Asura. The Solaris Hero skilfully handled his trident and began spinning it with incredible speed. This created a barrier like effect, causing all blades of wind to smash into it and explode harmlessly while he continued to spin the trident. When the attacks came to an end, he stopped spinning the trident and held it straight upward with the bottom touching the ground.
He breathed a sigh and muttered, “Good. I didn’t need to use a barrier spell for something of that level of power.”
“It’s impressive that you blocked them all, but I have you now!” Regnil said, and he aimed his hand once more down at his enemy.
In an instant, several black circles formed on the ground and quickly moved to merge with Asura’s shadow. The next moment, shadow marks like vines became creeping up Asura’s body and made his body freeze with a rigidity that had stronger strength than the quagmire he had faced earlier.
Asura looked down after feeling a strange sensation and was alarmed at the unknown shadow marks that appeared on his legs, making him exclaim, “What the hell is this?!”
Regnil closed his fists and clenched them tightly as he muttered, “Merpa Pledus.”
Violent sparks exploded from the shadow before Asura’s entire body was riddled with its incredible force. Taken by surprise, the Solaris Hero let out an agonising scream that reverberated in the space and shocked the onlookers, who watched in horror at the torture that their comrade was experiencing. Unfortunately, with their level of power, they knew their assistance would only end up backfiring on them and end up landing them in a sticky situation as well. As such, all they could do was watch the lightning attack their fellow hero.
Asura continued to let our screams of pain for a few seconds before forcing himself to shut his mouth and gritted his teeth with great intensity because of the pain. Despite the pain, he lifted his head and glared up at his enemy, who appeared to be wearing a smile on his face.
“I hope you’re enjoying a taste of the pain and shame I faced when I faced defeat at your hands!” Regnil muttered, enjoying the sensation of a triumph he got by watching his opponent scream in agony.
Asura could not hear him, but he was not in the mood to play around with jokes anymore. Screaming in pain was something he hated doing above anything else, and it made him extremely mad with rage. That was when he decided on the course of action he must take in retaliation against his opponent.
He channelled energy into the Golden Trident and caused it to glow brightly in a golden light. At the same time, lightning started to pulse around the trident with great intensity while a violent wind exploded around him, causing the ground to shake in the process.
“AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!” Asura roared wildly with power and rage. He glared up at his enemy with fearsome eyes and shouted, “You can have your medicine back!” While Regnil stared at him in shock, Asura took a throwing stance and screamed, “Lightning… Trident… Flash!!!”
With that scream, he hurled the trident towards the alien hovering high in the air with incredible force, and the weapon shot away in a flash. Regnil watched the attack come, but he was a second late in reacting, and the weapon sliced his arm clean from his shoulder. As he felt the sensation of the loss of a limb, the lighting attack from the trident zapped him with incredible force, causing him to scream from the agonising pain of his lost limb and the lightning attack.
The lightning lasted for several seconds until it lessened to the point that it no longer caused him any pain. Totally burnt out by the attack, Regnil breathed a sigh as smoke came from his lightning struck body and clothes. He momentarily lost consciousness plummeted from the sky for several seconds before he regained his awareness and forcefully stopped himself from falling when he was just several meters away from the ground.
He shifted his attention to his missing limb area and clutched the place where the blood, a blue coloured substance, flowed out from his wounds. It stung him with intense pain, but he ignored it because of the boiling anger that arose when he shifted his focus to the figure of the enemy that had dealt him such a severe wound.
Asura, who was freed from the effects of the shadow movement freeze and lightning attack, wore a grim expression on his face and shouted, “You brought this on yourself!”
His shout was carried all the way up to where the alien was airborne, which further fuelled his anger. He knew of the mission that he must carry out under the orders of the Overlord, but in his enraged state, he forgot all about it and thought that he must destroy his enemy, even at the cost of his own.
Raising his hand, he began to surge with all the power he could muster, and this caused the wind to blow wildly around. It buffeted against the buildings and against the humans cowering in their hiding spots. Even Asura had to cross his arms in front of him and stood his ground against the violent blowing wind as his energy surged with incredible power.
Upon activation of the technique, a blinding light erupted from the sky and caused everyone to automatically cover their eyes and turn away. Asura was forced to bring his crossed arms upward to shield his eyes as he closed them firmly. The light blazed the surface of the world for a few seconds before slowly dimming and disappearing, allowing everyone to uncover their eyes and look at the sky, where something was slowly descending towards the surface that cast a huge shadow across the land.
Fred, who was assisting in the evacuation, looked up at the sudden dimming in the light and muttered, “What’s that?”
“No idea,” replied Martin, squinting to see what it was.
On the battlefield, the remainder of the Nine Heroes of Legends looked up curiously along with the humans of that world.
“What’s that?” Vikram asked, looking up in surprise.
“No idea, but it’s definitely big! Very big in fact” Maxwell said, eying the object in anxiousness.
Then, as the clouds parted and the object came into view, their jaws dropped and their expressions stiffened. A gigantic rock, the size of a moon, was slowly falling from the sky. This was the first time they were seeing something like that and fear instantly manifested inside all of them at the sheer size of that thing.
“What the hell is that?!” Vikram exclaimed very loudly in alarm.
“No way…!” Maxwell shouted in disbelief.
“Impossible!” Gram said in a low voice, horrified by seeing such a thing descend towards them.
“The wrath of the gods…” muttered William quietly, looking up at the sky in horror and his shoulders slumped in defeat.
Natsu remained silent as he stared up at the sky, but the shocked expression on his face spoke louder than any words he could utter. None of them could react properly at the sight of such a destructive object, nor could the humans from that world could react as well. Everyone was horrified and were unable to move because no one had any clue how to fend off such an attack that was surely capable of destroying their planet.
Regnil, fighting against the fatigue from overusing his powers, said in a deadly voice, “Let this be the end of you all!” Then he raised his remaining left hand into the air and shouted, “Pridus Gezra Splat!”
With that, he swung his arm down and initiated the planet shaped rock to fall and destroy everything, including the very planet that they were on.
