A few seconds earlier, when the nine warriors performed the fusion technique, mentally, they felt as though they were falling down a long black tunnel. The sensation of falling lasted for only a few seconds before they arrived to land in a brightly lit spotlight while everything outside it was shrouded in darkness.
“What the? Where are we?” Vikram asked, looking around his surroundings with curiosity.
“Yeah. I have no idea,” replied Maxwell, who also glanced around with a similar expression on his face.
“This is the mind space of your fused warrior,” explained the fairy, who had floated forward and landed gently on Lakshman’s head.
“Mind space?” Vikram asked in confusion.
“It basically means there’s nothing in here except us and the powers we can use, correct?” Natsu asked for verification, and the fairy nodded in agreement.
“Interesting,” remarked Gram, looking impressed and began glancing around.
“I see,” said Maxwell, nodding understanding.
“Fascinating,” commented Ward, looking interested as he looked around.
There was a sudden silence among them, and sensing it, he glanced back at them with a puzzled look on his face.
“What’s wrong? Everyone went quiet?”
“You,” began Vikram slowly, staring at him in disbelief and pointed a finger at him.
“Me?” Ward asked, looking confused.
“You can talk,” said Lakshman, who was the first to recover and smiled sardonically at them.
“I can talk, and that’s surprising?” Ward asked, raising an eyebrow as he was taken aback. “What do you mean? You guys can hear me talking whenever I make conversation, right?”
“Yes, but your mouth is moving, and it sounds like you are speaking directly from your mouth!” Vikram exclaimed, looking alarmed.
Ward looked at him as if he was crazy and asked, “What do you mean, Vik? My mouth looks like it moves, but I’m mute. I can’t… talk…?”
He ended his sentence with a question because, while he was speaking, he had subconsciously moved his hand up to his mouth and felt his lips. The moment he felt the sensation of his mouth moving and word coming out of them, he widened his eyes in shock at this remarkable discovery.
“What the?!” He exclaimed, looking as shocked as Vikram appeared.
“That’s my reaction too!” Vikram said, nodding supportively.
“I can talk?” Ward asked, looking confused. “But how? I have that disability after all.”
“Here, in your Astral Form, you can speak like any normal person,” the fairy gave her explanation in a calm manner. “It’s your spirit speaking directly that is not restricted by the physical limitations of your mortal body.”
There was a momentary pause before Vikram asked in puzzlement, “What?”
“I see. That makes sense,” said Ward, coming to a quick understanding. Then he got a question and asked, “So, does that mean that if I use telepathy here, I can speak to the other party in their heads? Does that also work if I speak in my head?”
“Yes,” she replied with a smile.
Ward nodded silently, seeming to understand and appeared to think for a moment before asking, “So, does that mean that if I talk in my head and communicate with the other person, does that mean that I can dive into my Astral Form’s mind, and then activate telepathy from there and repeat the cycle over and over again?”
“What?!” Vikram exclaimed, looking at him in shock at what he just heard. “Dude! What the hell are you asking?”
“It’s just a theory, and I’m curious to learn about it,” replied Ward as he continued to look at the fairy. “Please answer truthfully.”
The fairy looked at him in surprise while Lakshman and Asura chuckled as they stood the closest to her.
“Don’t laugh!” She complained, looking troubled by their reaction. Then she turned back to him and said, “Uh… Um… I don’t really know.”
“You don’t know?” Ward asked immediately, looking surprised. “I thought you would know since you’re a fairy and everything.”
“I… I…” she began, looking flustered and went red in the face.
“Go on, pixie. Tell him what you know,” commented Asura from beside her.
“Asura,” said Lakshman in a sharp voice, but Asura turned away with a smirk on his face.
“I… I’m just a fairy… with ancient knowledge… I don’t have… in depth knowledge… about the science and… all…” she finally said and hung her head in shame.
“Y-You don’t need to be so upset about it,” said Natsu, trying to sound reassuring while glancing at Ward, who was looking a little disappointed. “Apologise, Ward. You clearly upset her by asking silly questions.”
“Oh. Right. I’m sorry,” said Ward, bowing his head a little towards her, where she simply nodded at him in acceptance.
“This is so weird,” muttered Maxwell, looking down at his hand and at everyone else. “I’m learning some really weird things today.”
“You’re not the only one,” said Vikram in agreement. “How about the rest of you?”
“Meh. It doesn’t really bother me since I don’t get it,” replied William easily.
Vikram grunted and said, “Heh. Must be nice to be able to ignore things so easily.”
“You have to, otherwise, you’d be in a heap of stress by overloading your brain.”
“Or, it could be just that you lacked the ability to think properly,” remarked Gram from the side, causing William to turn an eye on him.
“That’s uncalled for,” complained William, looking disgruntled.
“Gram, please be reasonable,” said Fred, looking at him in an imploring way. “Not everyone is as gifted as you.”
“More like gifted with arrogance,” commented Asura in an audible voice.
“Now, that’s uncalled for,” said Gram, turning to face him with a serious look on his face while Asura looked back at him with a smirk on his face.
They were glaring at each other, and Martin was looking at them nervously while the others were watching tiredly. At that exact moment, the fairy said in a loud voice, “Ah! Calm down everyone! We have more important tasks to focus on than dishing out insults at one another!”
In the same moment that she finished speaking, particles of light came out of nowhere into the spotlight and formed into large screen that showed them what was happening outside. They were amazed when it looked like they were watching someone from someone’s point of view because they could not see anything else like their surroundings, although, there was a lot of smoke drifting around.
“Right now, you are viewing through the point of view of the body formed from your fusion,” the fairy explained while hovering off from Lakshman’s head and flying to hover next to the screen. “However, you can see that this entity is not moving because no one’s in control of it.”
“What?! No one is in control?!” Vikram exclaimed, looking shocked. “Then, how are they breathing?”
There was a sudden intake of breath and a sight that came from Gram, who held his head and muttered, “Seriously?”
“Vik,” said Natsu began a wry smile, “people won’t die just because we’re not there to regulate the body. Don’t you know how the body operates?”
“Na. I just sleep most of the time during my science classes,” replied Vikram with a shrug of his shoulders and made Natsu smile.
“So, how are we supposed to take control of the body? Is there some kind of control system or mechanism for it?” Natsu asked after he turned back to her.
She nodded and said, “Yes. Simply feel the control of the body.”
There was a moment of pause before everyone simultaneously asked, “Huh?”
The fairy gestured grinned at them and said, “Yes. You simply have to feel the control. I know it sounds vague and everything, but believe me, this body is just like your own, except it incorporates each and every individual potential of yours in a single host. Please try it.”
At her gesture for one of them to come forward, Vikram puffed his chest forward and said, “Alright! I’ll do it!”
“Do be careful and not hurt yourself. God forbid you make yourself look stupid and us along with you,” commented Gram with a distasteful expression on his face.
“Oh? In that case, you do it, loud mouth!” Vikram said, stopping in his tracks and turning around to look angrily at him.
Gram snorted and looked away, causing Vikram to shake his head and move forward and stood in front of the screen, which shifted upward to get out of his way. Once he stopped, he closed his eyes and became very still and silent as if he was meditating. Then, feeling the sensation, he opened his eyes in a flash and marvelled down at his hands.
“Wow…! This is… my god! So much… power! I feel… so powerful!”
“You feel it then?” The fairy asked with a smile. When he nodded, she said, “Okay. Close your eyes and focus on taking control over the body.”
He nodded and closed his eyes, feeling as his consciousness had left the darkness and arrived somewhere where he could feel the wind touching his face. Then he opened his eyes and was amazed to find that he was standing in broad daylight with smoke spreading everywhere. He brought his hands up to his face and flexed them before grinning and looking towards his enemy and swung his hand in an arc, causing a wave of wind to sweep forward and blow the smoke away to bring the view back to normal.
With a confident grin on his face, he said the words, “Hello, God. It’s time you face the music of defeat!”
“What the hell?!” He heard William exclaim in his head, looking alarmed, and Vikram felt his consciousness return to the area dawned by the spotlight.
“Unbelievable,” muttered Maxwell with a shake of his head.
“That was… embarrassing,” muttered Martin, looking glum.
“What is wrong with that brain of yours, ha?!” Gram exclaimed, glaring irritably at him.
“Hey. Come on. I always wanted to say those dialogues out of a movie, and besides, what’s so wrong about a hero saying something like that to a villain?” Vikram challenged with a proficient smile on his face.
Gram looked at him with great irritation before he sighed and said, “Whatever,” and he turned towards Lakshman as he finished by saying, “Take control of the host… Lucky.”
Lakshman nodded, but then he froze and looked surprised. Even the others were amazed by what they just heard come out of the Tempest Hero’s mouth. Throughout the exchange between Lakshman and Gram, the prince from another world had always referred to him as the ‘demon’ so it amazed them that he would wilfully change it to using Lakshman’s nickname instead and even suggested him to take the lead. This spoke volumes to them of the change that the prince was going through after learning of the deceit he suffered both by his family and by himself of foolishly thinking only of his pride and ego.
Gram and Lakshman looked at each other for a few seconds before Gram asked, “What? Is something on my face? Stop wasting time and get to it.”
While some felt as though the notion that he was changing was short lived, Lakshman smiled and said, “Thank you, Gram, but I think you should take the lead first.”
However, Gram snorted and replied, “And do what? Get beaten to a pulp and prove that I was stupid to think I could put up a fight against such a monster? No way. I rather admit my fault and let someone capable to go ahead. So, stop feeling sympathetic to me and go out there already,” and he momentarily paused before adding, “I’m counting on you.”
As Lakshman widened his eyes in surprise, everyone else began speaking their mind to him in support of Gram’s decision.
“As rare it is, I have to agree with Gram,” said Vikram with a chuckle as he glanced sideways at the Tempest Hero.
“We know you’re the one for this task,” replied Natsu with a smile.
“I believe in you,” said Fred confidently.
“Be cool headed and act rationally,” advised Ward with a small smile.
“You can do it!” Martin said, mustering enough force to speak firmly to him with his fists clenched.
“You’re the only one who can right about now,” added Maxwell with a smile and shrugged his shoulders.
“You’re a warrior, so do what you do best and fight hard!” William said encouragingly.
Lakshman blinked at them all in surprise and formed a wry smile on his face. It was never a part of him to think he was superior to others, and although he had forced his hand sometimes in situations that he had no choice in, he profusely tried to do things in a peaceful manner. However, incidents of losing his parents and being unable to save people when they really needed him hurt him a lot and made him prepare the best that he could against all possible threats. As such, he was worried for his comrades and the people of that world, but he knew he must focus on following the plan he had set in motion and see it through to the end successfully for the safety of everyone relying on him.
A tear trickled down his right eye due to how greatly his emotions got moved, but he quickly wiped it away and beamed at them as Asura said to him from the side, “You heard them, right? And besides, what do you have to fear? You’re the Phoenix Titan! Go live up to that grandiose title,” and he winked at him.
Laskhman looked around at them in wonder before replying with great confidence, “Thank you, everyone. I swear I won’t disappoint your faith in me.”

He turned around to face towards the darkness and closed his eyes to return to the surface to take charge of the fusion host. Once he was in control, he immediately took a fighting stance and faced their enemy, who smiled pleasantly at him.
“I wonder how well you will fight with that fusion,” said Climax smugly.
Lakshman did not reply as he heard the fairy say inside his mind, “Lucky. This is where everything begins. Ten minutes. That’s how long you got to fight before the fusion becomes undone. Got it?”
“Yes,” he replied in a simple voice.
She hesitated momentarily, wondering whether she should say more. However, she felt him remain calm and composed and understood saying more would simply waste the little amount of time they had. So, she moved on and spoke to him informatively.
“Alright. The timer starts in 3… 2… 1… Now!”
***
“—3… 2… 1… Now!”
The moment the fairy finished announcing, Lakshman kicked off the ground and flew towards the God of Calamity at such speeds that it looked like he was standing and on the move in the blink of an eye. As he reached his enemy, he pulled his fist back and hurled it straight at Climax’s face. However, his fist collided against an invisible barrier that blocked his attack, which resulted in a wild blowing winds to sweep away in all directions while the ground shook violently.
Unperturbed by the initial failure, Lakshman continued to throw fist after fist, kick after kick, at an unimaginable speed. The reason for this incredible increase in speed was due to the addition of the Sonic Hero’s power over speed. As such, it Lakshman hammered away at his enemy with all his might, but he could not penetrate through the barrier.
Climax watched him attacking him before he extended his hand out and seemingly grabbed Lakshman with his face. Shocked, Lakshman tried to pry free from his enemy’s grip but to no avail; his enemy’s grip was just too strong. His enemy was grinning at him when, to his surprise, he suddenly lost his grip over Lakshman as he appeared to pass right through his arm and arrive standing behind him.
“What?” Climax asked, looking taken aback.
The moment he landed, Lakshman whirled around and aimed to kick at his enemy’s chest, but the invisible barrier stopped him again. He gritted his teeth as he saw Climax turn sideways to glance at him over his shoulders with a smug look on his face.
“You certainly surprised me,” he said in a mocking voice.
“Things are only getting started!” Lakshman retaliated in a firm voice. He immediately placed both of his hands on the barrier and said, “Maga Distrab!”
In an instant, the barrier got cancelled much to the god’s amazement, and he watched his enemy charge forward. At the exact same time as his fist came flying at him, Climax dodged him by sidestepping before aiming his hand at where Lakshman was going to appear.
“Die,” he said quietly and fired a deadly black wave of destruction.
The moment Lakshman saw the attack coming, he swivelled his body and aimed his hands down before firing an energy blast. It caused an explosion and propelled him into the air, allowing him to escape the enemy’s attack by a tiny margin. Climax looked up and watched as Lakshman continued soaring high into the air and appear as though he was holding some kind of weapon in his hands.
“What is he doing?” He asked curiously while knitting his eyebrows together.
Lakshman had summoned William’s bow from out of thin air and gripped it with one hand while summoning an arrow and nicking it to the bow string. He pointed the bow and arrow straight down at the God of Calamity and fired it while shouting the technique name.
“Guided Rockets!”
The arrow soared down at a remarkable speed before it split into smaller pieces that spread out while continuing to shower down on top of their target. When Climax saw this, he smirked and folded his hands while appearing to close his eyes. A moment later, the split away bits flew down and smashed into the barrier, causing a strong explosion to occur on each impact.
Lakshman saw this and did not wait to see what happened; he immediately summoned another arrow, nicked it to the bow and fired it down at him. Like that, he fired off several arrows in quick succession, and they all flew down and soared into the drifting smoke, explosion like their predecessors.
The smoke slowly cleared to reveal the God of Calamity standing there with a smug look on his face, frustrating Lakshman in the process.
“Damn him and his barrier!” Vikram cursed inside the fusion warrior’s mind.
“We got to find a way around that barrier!”
To that, Lakshman narrowed his eyes and muttered, “Let me try something.”
He aimed his hand down at the enemy and muttered, “Maga Distrab,” and immediately nicked an arrow before firing it down at him.
The magic canceller soared down and smashed into the barrier protecting its caster, causing it to get utterly destroyed with the sound of breaking glass.
“What?” Climax asked, widening his eyes slightly in amazement.
In the next second, the launched arrow soared down and smashed exactly where he was standing, causing a large explosion to occur. Without pause, Lakshman continued to fire Maga Distrab first and then launch an arrow right after it in a possible attempt to stop his enemy from forming his barrier in time to shield himself from his attacks.
Suddenly, there was a wild blowing wind that swept away from a single spot, where the God of Calamity was standing at. This caused the drifting smoke to spread away and bring the view back to normal and as Lakshman braced himself against the wind, Climax looked up at the clear sky and smiled.
“Interesting.”
In the next second, he aimed his forefinger at him, but Lakshman aimed his arrow at him and said, “Blaze Shot!”
The arrow that he launched flew through the air like a speeding bullet and smashed against the God of Calamity’s barrier. In the next moment, an enormous explosion occurred on the point of contact and caused the ground to crack and shake violently while sending shock waves in all directions. Lakshman braced himself against it before aiming his next arrow into the air before the spoke could clear away.
“Meteor Shower!”
Upon firing, the arrow flew high into the air and exploded, causing an enormous magic circle to form in the sky. Climax looked up through the clearing smoke as rocks began to rain down on the planet near where he stood. He had to watch out for those because, even if they did not penetrate through the barrier, they still caused the ground to crack and made him lose his balance.
So, he began to move from that spot while dodging the raining meteors, which fell everywhere and caused the ground to shake violently while causing a cave-in on the impacted spot.
“This is getting annoying,” said Climax in a disgruntled voice as he dodged around them. “You call this a meteor shower? How boring? I think I should really show you what a real meteor shower looks like,” and he grinned evilly.
He spun around to face the sky and focused his magic on his. In an instant, the magic circle began to emit dark elemental power from its glow as if it was being corrupted. Then, the raining meteors stopped before a gigantic meteor soon appeared out of the magic circle.
Lakshman widened his eyes upon seeing the gigantic rock falling down on the planet while he heard shocked responses being expressed by the other heroes sharing the fusion warrior host.
“No way!”
“Impossible!”
“We’re going to die!”
“Ah! Shut up, the whole lot of you!” Asura exclaimed loudly. “Lakshman! Destroy it!”
“I know,” replied Lakshman calmly, and he soared towards the falling rock.
As he neared the rock, he heard Natsu say, “Lucky, I don’t think destroying it would be a good idea. The falling debris alone would be enough to cause more damage to this planet than our Meteor Shower spell.”
“Yes, but sending it into outer space is not good either,” added Ward thoughtfully.
“Don’t worry. I wasn’t planning on destroying it,” replied Lakshman with a smile, and the other heroes were surprised to hear him sound confident. He flew high into the air at the incoming rock and activated his powers as he placed his hand on it before shouting, “Size Crusher.”
The moment he finished saying it, there was a sudden release of pressure from the rock before it seemed to come to a full stop while hovering in mid-air. There seemed to be a few seconds of pause before the entire rock began glowing in a bright light before a flash of light occurred and caused the rock to shrink to the size of pebble. Lakshman gently held it in the palm of his hand and gripped it firmly.
“Phew,” he said in relief.
“Don’t celebrate just yet,” said a voice, and he turned just in time to receive a full punch to his face.
The impact was aimed at an angle, causing him to dive straight towards the ground at an incredible speed before crash landing heavily. As the dust cleared, and he picked himself up, he widened his eyes in alarm when he saw Climax diving at him with both of his hands raised both his head and joined together.
Reacting quickly, Lakshman got out of the way just in time as the God of Calamity soared down and smashed his hands into the ground. The impact was so immense that the entire ground got destroyed while shock waves were sent in all directions as Lakshman continued to move away from the spreading destruction until it finally came to a stop.
“That was close,” he muttered and released a sigh.
From out of the smoke, several deadly balls of black energy soared at him while flying at super speed. He reacted by summoning forth two guns and held them in a dual wielding stance. Taking aim at the incoming black energy balls, he pulled the trigger and caused a strange force to occur that swept away and seemingly destroyed the incoming attacks, causing them to vanish into thin air.
Climax was momentarily amazed, but he remained calm as he continued to rapid fire black energy blast after energy blast at him. Lakshman retaliated by firing his guns at the incoming attacks and destroying them one by one as quickly as they appeared to fly towards him.
This continued for a few seconds before Lakshman began moving his feet while continuing to shoot down the attacks that seemingly flew only at him even as he was on the move. Deciding to destroy the energy blasts and attack simultaneously, Lakshman focused on using his left gun to destroy the attacks while firing energy blasts directly at his enemy, which soared between the incoming attacks and smashed into his enemy’s barrier, rendering his efforts ineffective.
“Come on, Lucky! Put more power into it!” Maxwell said to him inside his mind.
“I know!” Lakshman replied, barely dodging the attacks that seemingly increased as he could not destroy all of them while retaliating at the same time. “I got this!”
Gritting his teeth, he suddenly came to a stop and faced towards his enemy before joining the guns side-by-side while pointing them at him.
In the next moment, he let out a scream, “AAAAAAHHHHHH,” and fired a powerful wave of destruction from between them. It soared away, destroyed all the black energy blasts coming his way and smashed into the barrier. This time, the barrier showed cracks as it fought hard against his attack, causing Climax to look rather impressed by this feat.
“Impressive, but still not enough.”
He held his hand out and used his powers, seemingly absorbing the energy into the palm of his hand. All the energy outputted from Lakshman flew towards his palm until the attack was no longer there. Lakshman watched in disbelief as his attack was seemingly absorbed right before his eyes.
“You can have it back, ten times the damage,” said Climax, and he unleashed it right back at him.
Lakshman was shocked at the incoming attack, and he felt that it was much stronger than when he fired it at him. He looked behind him and saw the still intact city in the distance, making him realise that if he dodged this attack, the attack would keep going and destroy the city that was right behind him. As such, there was only one thing that he could possibly do and asked his allies for help.
“Natsu! Ward! Lend me your strength!”
“Yes,” said Ward quietly inside his mind.
“We’re here,” said Natsu reassuringly.
Lakshman nodded and let go of the guns, which disappeared into thin air, and took aim at the incoming attack with both of his hands. He surged with power and tightened his muscles in his arms, which caused the veins to appear slightly at places. Then his eyes flashed, and he shouted the technique he knew would destroy the attack for good.
“Maga Distrab!”
The moment he finished saying it, the incoming attack seemingly exploded from within and formed into tiny particles of light that quickly disappeared into thin air. As the wave vanished, Lakshman set his sight on Climax and widened his eyes when he saw his enemy pointing his hand at him like a gun and then click his hands.
A moment later, many magic circles appeared out of thin air around Lakshman before several energy blasts flew right out of them at high speed at him. Reacting at almost the same time, Lakshman clapped his hands and said, “Maga Distrab,” causing a dome like wave to spread everywhere that vaporised the blasts and destroyed the magic.
The moment that was over with, Lakshman surged with power and kicked off the ground so forcefully that it cracked as he soared into the air. He soared away from the place where the city was behind him and then made his way towards Climax. Seeing him on the move, the God of Calamity began rapid firing black energy blasts wherever the fused warrior would appear despite his speed being so blinding that normal people could say he was virtually invisible.
“There isn’t anything behind us in harm’s way, but this doesn’t look good!” William exclaimed inside his mind.
“Yeah, but how? All of ours attacks are phasing off his barrier like they were nothing!” Maxwell complained. “Not even my Magna Blast earlier worked on him.”
“We need to get directly in contact with him then,” said Gram much to everyone’s shock.
While everyone began complaining, Lakshman said, “That’s it! Hang on, guys; we’re going in!”
“This is suicide!” Martin wailed in a frightened voice.
“We’ll die anyway if we lose, so might as well give it everything we got!” Gram stated frankly.
As such, Lakshman made his way towards Climax, pulling out his guns and firing at him and destroying the incoming attacks, all the while getting closer and closer to him. The God of Calamity sensed that his enemy was up to something and felt that he should do something about it. So, when Lakshman got within walking distance of him, Climax clicked his fingers and waved it a downward gesture while saying only a single word.
“Kneel.”
The moment he said that, his enemy felt an incredible force forcing him to make him come to a stop and slowly push him into taking a kneeling position before the God. Lakshman struggled with all his might to break free from it as he was nearing the completion of kneeling before his enemy.
“Damn!” He cursed as he realised the immense force applying on him was much stronger than before when it made him plummet.
“Come on. Kneel at my feet where you belong,” said Climax in a quiet voice as he casually walked forward to look down on him.
This struggle lasted for a few seconds before Lakshman forced himself to look up and say in a cold voice, “In… your… dreams…!”
With his yell, he suddenly surged with immense power that allowed him to break free from the force taking effect on him. While his enemy reacted with surprise, Lakshman gripped the pebble in his hand, which was the meteor that he had shrunk in size, and threw it straight at Climax’s face.
Upon seeing what he was throwing, Climax chuckled as he raised his hand to catch it. However, his expression changed into that of a shocked grimace as the pebble shot forward, smashed into his hand, and the impact force was so strong that it pushed his hand back until his face got smashed by his own hand. Then he dropped the pebble, causing it to fall down and land on his foot, causing him to widen his eyes in shock and yelp in pain.
“What the hell?!”
While he was distracted, Lakshman soared forward and placed both of his hands on the enemy’s chest before activating his powers. An immense wave of destruction occurred, propelling Climax backwards until the God recovered to redirect the blast into the air.
“Petty tricks!” Climax complained in annoyance.
However, he was shocked when a light began glowing as a small sphere seemed to form in front of his chest. Then, it seemed to quickly begin absorbing the energy around them as it grew in size at a remarkable pace. Within seconds, it enwrapped him and the energy sphere expanded its diameter to a large scale, forcing Lakshman to back away from it for safety’s sake.
It continued to increase in size quite a bit before it suddenly collapsed on itself and erupted into a mighty explosion. This resulted in the whole area around them to get destroyed while the wind blew ferociously and powerful shock waves were sent in all directions.
“This is intense!” Vikram commented inside the fusion warrior’s mind.
“Use my shield, Lucky! Quickly!” Fred advised him in a hurry.
Quickly acted by extending his right hand out in front of him and saying, “Magna Block.”
In an instant, a shield like object appeared out of thin air and pressed itself down in front of him. A moment later, it activated by glowing dimly and caused an invisible barrier to form around him, which protected him from the violent forces clashing in his surroundings.
The violence in the surroundings slowly steadied and then calmed as the view soon returned to normal. Lakshman breathed a sigh of relief and stood up while holding a position behind the shield. Suddenly, the God of Calamity appeared out of nowhere in front of them, looking rather annoyed.
“That hurt,” he complained with just two words.
Lakshman was startled, and he tried to react quickly by getting away, but Climax would not let him get away. The God smashed the shield with his bare hands and soared forward to pummel the fusion warrior in the gut several times in quick succession, leaving the fused warrior gasping for breath and groaning in pain, but the relentless attack did not end there.
Climax grabbed the warrior by his hand and began slamming him down onto the ground after lifting him into the air multiple times without any shred of mercy. Even while doing that, Climax riddled him with elemental attacks like fire to burn his body and lightning to zap his body in an endless torturous destructive move.
After slapping him down after the umpteenth time, Climax lifted his finger and caused the fusion warrior to soar into the air. Then he grabbed the warrior by his face and raised him as high as he could extend his arm and them smashed him forcefully down on the ground.
The impact was so strong that the ground caved in all around them as the fusion warrior sank a few meters into the ground. Climax leaned back and straightened up after witnessing this, breathing a little quickly as if he had exercised a lot.
“I hate unfairness! I hate it, I hate it, and I hate it!” Climax exclaimed angrily.
He suddenly went down to where the fused warrior lay and began stomping down on his stomach with great force. This caused the fusion warrior to widen his eyes to the fullest in shock and groan from the endless pain caused by the relentless assault from his enemy.
“Bastard! Do you have any idea how much that hurt?! You fool! How dare you trick me and treat me so low! If you were a true warrior, you would’ve fought me head on, you foolish mortal bastard!”
As soon as he ended the sentence, he raised his leg as high as he could and stomped down on fusion warrior’s gut, pushing him deeper into the ground while the ground continued to cave in around him. Then he stepped back and remained standing there, breathing a little quickly and glaring down at him with the utmost fury on his face.
The fusion warrior lay there, groaning from the pain with his eyes closed, seemingly knocked out for good from the merciless barrage of attacks he had taken from his enemy.
